Hiwada Town's Gym is located near the center of Hiwada Town. It serves as an indoor spa, where many people, including those that are not trainers, can come and relax 'till their heart's content. It also where the Hiwada Town Gym Leader usually resides. Visitors must be careful of the many Slowpoke that wander around, however, as they treat the Gym as though it is their home.

Also known as Rainmaker Well, this deep cavernous well is full of a variety of water type pokemon, but is famous for the mass amount of slowpoke that tend to lurk in the dark. It is said that a Slowpoke from the well ended a drought that plagued Hiwada Town 400 years ago, by simply yawning. This location is suitable for battles and catching pokemon.

A path crossed by the Magnet Train bridge--nature meets technology. This is a long and well traveled road by pokemon and man alike. From its rocky outcrops and a nearby sea access, this is a great spot to find an array of pokemon types.

Regarded as Route 34, Ilex Forest is a dense forest found in southern Johto, directly west of Hiwada Town. The forest's trees are so close together that all light is blocked out, and the forest seems to be in a perpetual night.
