The journey to the Gym of Enju City is said to begin where the vibrant, autumn trees fade into the colors of cherry blossoms, among a large and classical Japanese torii; while the journey to the sanctuary of cherry trees and warm waters is not the longest, it definitely holds some of the most beautiful aesthetics within the entire region of Johto. By walking into the gate that deems the walk as sacred, which lies a few blocks from the Burned Tower and is marked with two statues on each side behind the torii of what appears to be depictions of the Pokemon Ho-Oh, one will begin this beautiful journey, to which they can gain many things from. Realizations of self worth, reflection, and finding one's tranquility; the way to the Gym is filled with many beautiful sights, taking place upon a trail of many different beautiful torii overlooking a stunning series of hot-spring waterfalls pouring into what appears to be a basin down a marvelous mountain range on one side, and rows upon rows of cherry blossom trees creating a wall, or terrace of sorts, on the other side that stretch over the red columns and make the shade very tranquil. However, one of the most surreal features of this trail, aside from the views from the ledges of cherry wood, are the ever-falling cherry blossom petals from the many different trees of sakura that line the horizon. Falling five centimeters per second at average, they graze the skin with plush and delicacy, as if graced upon the adventurer by the legendary Pokemon of Enju themselves. While this secluded area of peace is open to anyone at all times, and holds various benches and areas to enjoy, it is to what comes next that is meant to be accessed only by those which seek out the Badge of Fog and Sakura.[break][break]
After about fifteen minutes of walking in a slow manner, one would find that the trail of torii would end in a similar style that it started, with two statues of the magnificent bird Pokemon, and would lead into a circular area of similar stone that was among the walkway of cherry blossom trees that is about thirty meters in diameter and houses a singular, extremely large cherry blossom tree within the center of the circular shape. The exterior of the circle is quite interesting; on half of its side, it holds an extremely beautiful view of the secluded mountain range and basin that stretches behind the City of Enju and its waterfalls, but on all other sides the cherry blossom trees seem to be much more present than before. As if some are forming a wall with small slits between each wooden log that shoots upward from the ground littered with sakura petals, only the smallest of creatures would be able to fit through the cracks; one portion of this "wall" protects the sanctuary of cherry blossoms from outsiders that may appear as hostile, and the other protects the hot springs on the other sides for trainers that wish to wander into the Gym. The only way into the Gym to progress is to climb the giant cherry blossom tree in the middle of the circle, with help of the panels of cherry wood that function like a more active stairway of sorts, in hopes to make it into the canopy of the surrounding cherry blossom forest. Strategically grown to act like a pathway to get from tree to tree, large branches connect and flow to meet each-other throughout the overhead seas of pink to guide one to where they are supposed to go to continue; this, along with the green and maroon ceramic wind chimes of oriental design that glow in the darkness, should be able to guide one in the right direction within the trees. It is not difficult to maneuver through these trees, and one would not fall into what lies under them unless they were extremely clumsy or purposefully messing around. It is marked as a sacred place, after all.[break][break]
Upon maneuvering to be situated outside of the circular area that housed the giant cherry blossom tree, and into the other large sakura trees that coat the area, one would find that they would now be situated over a large area of hot springs produced by pouring waterfalls on the tall mountain ranges that shoot up the left side of the canopy. Similarly, they pour over the right side, following the natural steepness of the mountains that lead to the basin below; there is many cherry blossom trees sprouting up from this side to hold a large amount of water in place, almost like a dam, but some falls through the slits (this is also to prevent one from falling off the side of the range). It is also very apparent that there are plentiful amount of trees that sprout upward from the hot springs themselves, as they are funding the branches that hold the challenger up inside of the canopy. If one were to fall from a branch above this area, they would fall into the hot springs below; by swimming to the front, where the wall of blossoms resides, they would be able to find a tree within the left corner that brings them back up to the beginning of the canopy to start over. Like the area above the circle, it is not difficult to maneuver around the branches of the canopy to get to where the battle will take place. As the cherry blossom trees that sprout upward are marked as extremely sacred, it is nearly impossible to cause a branch to snap; they can hold a very large amount of weight. They are rendered as very indestructible, and if one were to attempt to cause harm to the environment or wild Pokemon of the Gym and its surroundings purposefully without reason, they would be held accountable by various fines and other types of punishment, including being kicked out of the Gym.[break][break]
Once making one's way across the canopy in full, a singular branch would bring the challenger to a pathway similar to the trail that was at the beginning, though surrounded by cherry blossom trees on both sides, consistently placed torii, and statues of the mystical bird among the petals hitting the ground. A minutes walk to get to where the battle will take place among this stone pathway, one would find that it would lead to a large and classical arena with its own unique, beautiful quirks. Aside from being completely surrounded by a cherry blossom forest stretching as far as the eye could see in each direction aside from the trail of torii that lead to this area, one would be able to notice that deep within the forests would shoot up geysers of natural, purified water, which shimmer greatly in the bright sky above. As for the arena itself, it is quite magnificent; the floor appears to be made of the same stone from the pathway to the Gym and the battle-area, though entirely covered in cherry blossom petals that never stop their descent from the sky, and bright, white light dividing the arena into two with the classic poke-ball design projecting upward through the blossoms. On each side of the arena are two giant cherry blossom trees, nearly even bigger than the one at the beginning of the Gym's true area. These function for great aesthetics, and house a singular swing on each side made of cherry wood and a pink cushion in which the challenger and leader can sit upon during battle. If one can defeat Stella Miyamoto, the Gym Leader of the Enju City Gym, they will recieve the the Enju City badge with victory; the greenette enjoys to take these battles semi-casually, which is why the swings are in place (to create an environment of peace), and learn a bit about the individual which is challenging her before and during the battle. However, if the moment calls for seriousness it will turn to as such. Upon leaving the arena, Stella will guide the individual outward from the entrance path via pressing a hidden button which will cause the sakura branches to form into a more simple pathway to lead the individual to the large cherry blossom tree that lead them into the canopy once before.[break][break]
When wishing to challenge this Gym, please make a thread within the board under Enju called "Enju City's Gym" and follow the theme of "<personal title here> [Gym Challenge: <character name>]". In addition to this, it would be greatly appreciated if one tags @[des] within their post, and notifies Des (Stella) on discord either within the designated tagging channel or direct messages so they know that they have a thread to post in. If this is not done, it will not be clear whether or not a challenge is called for; as there is an open area of walking and benches for personal enjoyment connecting the Gym area to the City of Enju, it is allowed for one to create threads that are non-challenge related that may be considered as socials in this location in character, though it would take place in the Enju City Board. It is held to the members of the thread to not tamper with any of the surroundings or property of this sacred area, especially within and past the circle holding the large cherry blossom tree that leads challengers into the canopy. If one were to do a wild thread in this IC location, which would not be encouraged but still possible to a certain extent (as long as disruption of the peace isn't large), it would act in the same regard as if one were doing it inside of the City in regards to spawn rules and other circumstances (as it would take place in that board).[break][break]
The Gym of Enju is open for quite some time within the day, as long as the Gym Leader is not out doing things in regards to the Forest Patrol; this generally translates from 7:30 AM to 9:30 PM, though is flexible if Stella has prior knowledge of an incoming challenger. However, the darker it gets the harder it is to maneuver around the branches of the cherry blossom forest canopy. While one is lead by glowing wind chimes and lanterns hanging from the torii on the pathways and various trees, it still may be difficult to see some of the crucial branches that one would see in the daytime; just make sure to watch your step and pay attention if you challenge in the later, darker hours.[break][break]
On their journey to where the battle takes place within the Gym, one may witness a variety of wild Pokemon that live within the cherry blossom leaves of the canopy and around them. They are never hostile, as they do also realize that this is a sacred place; therefore, it is held to the challenger to not harm any of these Pokemon that call the area their home and the environment around them as a whole as well. Those who break this rule will be kicked out of the Gym and held accountable for their actions, whether it may be in fines or other types of punishment from law enforcement depending on what has been done.[break][break]
In regards to battling, Stella definitely prefers to do three on three single battles, but also does not mind if one wishes to do a six on six single battle; it is all within the challenger's preference, though no items are allowed.[break][break]
