The quiet of the area was nice but the two were soon met with some slight disturbance in the peace around them that came from some nearby tall grass. Murasaki turned her full attention towards the shaking of the grass and soon the pokemon within showed itself. She was excited but she wouldn't show it on the outside in fear that her newly acquired Ralts wouldn't respect her or decide she wasn't worth obeying. Little did Murasaki know this little Ralts wanted nothing more than to be praised and seen as good in it's trainers eyes, disobeying was something it would never do willingly. Taking in a deep breath she calmed herself, her greatest power was her telepathy as it would allow her to issue commands towards her Ralts and throw off her current opponent since it wouldn't know what they were doing until it was done and not before. Speaking of her current opponent, the pokemon in question that slowly waddled out of the grass was a Makuhita. Murasaki was familiar with the pokemon around these parts and she knew she would have the upper hand over this fighting type as long as she was able to keep Cherry from taking to many hits. Knowing the typing was in her favor didn't mean she could act recklessly, Cherry was still a young Ralts and Psychic types tended to be more fragile physically than other types. Cherry Use Double Team, We'll confuse him so it becomes harder for him to hit you and follow up with Calm Mind this way we can take it down in one clean attack. Murasaki gave her orders through telepathy as usual and watched as the Ralts turned from one into two, from two into four, and from four into six. The Makuhita was visibly upset as it felt trapped between the silent trainer and her pokemon that seemingly increased in number. Darting it's eyes from one of the illusions of Ralts to another the Makuhita began to kick dust at the copies with a Sand Attack before charging in to one of the Ralts with a Tackle. The Sand attack did indeed hit the original Ralts but the Makuhita aimed for the wrong Ralts and ended up running through one of the copies. Cherry, use Psychic before it tackles again. The Ralts did as it was told and a blast of Psychic energy hit the Makuhita head on causing it to faint on contact. It was a good thing she had Ralts use Calm Mind or they would be in for another game of pokemon roulette with that Makuhita and Ralt's clones. You did good, let's continue on. We can make you stronger than that, we can both become stronger. Giving a small smile towards her Ralts the two continued on walking deeper down the route.

Murasaki's mind wandered to her grandfather and the last words he said to her. She didn't really understand them much but they were his last wishes for her and she could only do what she could to fulfill them in his name. Lost in her own thoughts her guard was let down momentarily until her eyes were met with a Meditite that crossed the two's path. Stopping in her tracks she didn't even realize that Cherry had made it's way in front of her. "Raaalts" The little voice called out defiantly causing the Meditite to tilt it's head in confusion. It doesn't seem like it wants to fight, but it doesn't have a say in the matter. Cherry, Double team and follow up with Calm Mind. Murasaki figured that this was a good strategy, it allowed the duo to confuse their opponent and gave them time to pull off a power up move that would otherwise leave them wide open for an attack. At this point the Meditite felt threatened and was quite upset as it let out a sound of aggression before a blue aura surrounded it and a blast of Confusion hit Cherry head on. The attack being Psychic in nature didn't have the bite to take down the Ralts or even cause it to get confused on top of calm mind giving Ralts extra defense against such attacks, but it was clear that this Meditite had some fight in it and wouldn't go down without a few hits. Another Double Team and follow up with Calm Mind once more. We're gonna make sure our next attack crumples this Meditite. Raaalts With the double in double team Ralts and it's illusions now made a perfect circle around the Meditite, successfully " trapping " it The Meditite looked around frantically before firing off another blast of Confusion and hitting Ralts once more. Ralts was unfazed by the attack and took it like a champ which pleased Murasaki. Ok Cherry, let's clean up this fight. Use Psychic. Ralts did as it was told, a blue aura surrounding it before a blast of Psychic energy hit the Meditite who surprisingly was still standing after the attack. Tough cookie huh, well all cookies crumble. Hit it with another Psychic Cherry. Once more Ralts followed the orders given but at the same time the Meditite used Confusion, the two attacks hitting but only one pokemon came out standing and it wasn't the Meditite. We are making good progress, let's continue on. After we're done we can get you healed up and have dinner. Murasaki was proud of her Ralts and she could tell it was happy as it let out a joyfull squealing sound as the two continued on their walk.

Before her grandfather's death, Murasaki was never one for battling pokemon. She was far too busy taking care of her grandfather to even have thought something like that was a possibility as far as life choices went. Today though she could feel the adrenalin rushing through her after finishing two battles. Being a pokemon trainer felt great and she couldn't wait to run into the next battle which happened to be coming up on them both. With each step a thud sound was growing closer, as if something was hitting something else. Upon further inspection of the noise Murasaki found herself wandering upon a Tyrouge who seemed to be practicing his moves on a thick tree. The little fighting type looked strong but today was not the day she wanted to catch something. Ralts needed training and the stronger he was the better their chances in other battles. The two were out of sight of the Tyrouge and it would be enough for them to get the first attack in.

Alright Cherry, we have the element of surprise so we are going to get the first hit in, First Calm Mind and then hit him with a Psychic. Brace yourself though, because I'm sure we won't go down with that and there will be retaliation. Ralts nodded as a blue aura surrounded as Calm Mind took over and then in the next second a blast of Psychic energy shot out from the little Ralts and hit the Tyrouge causing it to go crashing into a tree due to the sheer force of the ability and the fact that it probably wasn't expecting it. Now that they had the upper hand the two emerged from their hiding spot only for Ralts to get Tackled and knocked back with Tyrouge on top of him. Cherry! Use Draining Kiss! It wasn't a move that the fighting type was directly weak against, but it would give Cherry some health back from the tackle it just took. Tyrouge of course was not happy about this and clapping it's hands together used Fake Out. The attack hit and he was still on top of the Ralts but Murasaki wasn't having any of this. Use Psychic Cherry! Murasaki could feel her heart beating in her chest as fear set in that Cherry could get lose which meant it would faint. She had to have faith but Cherry wasn't responding to her as if he was was in shock. Tyrouge used this small moment in time to use Fake Out once more but this time Cherry didn't flinch. Use Psychic Cherry, Now! A blast of Psychic energy sent the Tyrouge flying and caused Murasaki to run for her Ralts, scooping the worn out pokemon towards her body and holding him close. You did well. I'm proud, now let's go home and clean you up then we can enjoy Ojii-San's famous curry.
