Located in the center of Asagi City is a marvelous building, huge in size, and coated in a cool blue color with white swirls drawn about to symbolize wind. The "Hurricane-Storm" gym is a beautiful artistic creation inside and out, carrying the same calming vibe of the ocean yet reminding those that challenge the gym that mother nature is brutal and the ocean can quickly turn into a hellish monster. Once inside and past the two statues that hold a expertly carved PokeBall on each side, one quickly notices the simple yet elegant beauty that shines throughout the building. The building's walls are all painted a light shade of blue with white swirls running rampant all around. There are bodies of water separated by the floor of the building, inside the water, Pokemon swim about keeping to themselves. If one looks up they can watch the bird Pokemon that call this place their home fly about and stop and rest on the many resting places that Erik had installed for them around the building. Those that wish to challenge Erik Baldr would follow him to an elevator, or be brought there instead by his assistant, and descend into the underground expanse that is fitted for battle. Upon exiting the elevator one notices the change in tone and color, the walls now a deeper blue, as if you were below the ocean's surface with the light above no longer reaching you, and there are four square pools of water located in each corner of the gym field that are powered by strong machines that create a man-made whirpool and have the ability to create a towering hurricane that adds difficulty to the battle. If one can best him in a battle, they will receive the Gym Badge for Asagi City.
