Welcome to Victory! Or well, new victory? Victory 2? Whatever you wish to call it this is an old site that will be attempting to grow a new community as well as aspire to create and maintain a healthy and friendly environment that encourages every writer to forge their stories and have fun while also meeting new people. Don’t be shy in hopping on and making a character, the stage is set for you! [break][break]

The forum is inspired by Pokemon Adventures, the Pokemon Video games as well as the anime series. While we do borrow concepts from the series we do not use canons meaning we won’t be featuring any characters from any of the works mentioned before. [break][break]

You are our investment. The main goal of this site is to create an inclusive environment. Things like cliques and groups form naturally but one thing we discourage is the judgement of others and leaving people out. This does not mean you HAVE to RP with everyone but it is encouraged that RPers branch out and give anyone that interest them a shot. You never know who you might enjoy writing with after all. This site will use Levels, but these will mostly be a means for evolution and moves to be learned. Outside of these two things this is a free for all and writer ability in battle will be the deciding factor in every battle. Type differences and effectiveness still count but no Pokemon is greater than any other, especially with a solid trainer at the helm. This does not mean someone can pop a focus sash on a magikarp and flail your way to victory but.. If you pick up the magikarp and hit wild Pokemon with it who’s to say you don’t get a few levels? Pokerus is a thing on site. Unlike in game Pokemon with Pokerus don’t get stat boost but are Powerful all the same. For example a machoke infected with Pokerus may be stronger than a Machoke without but it may suffer a side effect such as a stutterer, being weak to an additional type it normally wouldn’t be weak to, or only knowing splash. This is not meant to be a hindrance, but players should be made aware that this is a thing. [break][break]

When writing IC please be mindful of others, as said in the rules do not god mod, powerplay, metagame or anything of the sort. That said, also accept any IC consequences that may happen for IC actions.Here on the new Victory we are firm believers in playing the ball where it lies, thus, anything that happens IC that doesn’t fall into the realm of powerplay is fair game. Also as a reminder, please do not let IC actions influence OOC relationships negatively. We are here to write, you don’t like something someone did you are free to voice such to staff the door is always open. [break][break]


Finally, this site exists to bring joy to those who enjoy collaborative writing. There is no such thing as a bad writer, character or story here. You have, for the most part, full creative freedom of your characters and we welcome you to indulge in your imagination in the world of Pokemon. But, like, not super far in aka no Gijinka as far as being part Pokemon. Your character is more than welcome to dress like a Pokemon but as far as dad being an Arcanine and mom being a curious nursery worker that’s not gonna fly. One last thing, we value clarity here. Staff will not do anything drastic to site systems without member knowledge. If a patch is being worked on members will be told first thing, if you feel we do not hold up this last bit please let us know.
