The National Park had undergone quite the series of changes since he'd last been. A massive power spike in golden rod had blown out the power plant and the following outage had been a lot of trouble for a lot of people, but even more the spike was so large it even managed to change the habitat of the pokemon who lived in the national park making room for a number of different pokemon that Azad was interested in and even more the sudden shift in environments was definitely something to study. With his work through LORE Azad hadn't managed to have much time for the professor program as of late and as such he was beginning to fall behind in his studies He'd come out here today to remedy this thankfully Frederick had taken on the main aspects of the work for the day meaning Azad had a little free time, It didn't hurt that Vivi was also busy so this time could be spent by himself the only others that could possibly interrupt the trainer were his pokemon and they already understood the drill.
Emerald eyes survey the area upon arriving despite the massive change in species the park itself look almost the same. People trainers and general citizens alike still meandered across the walkways people still took selfies by the fountain or visited small vendors in search of a meal or two. Truly the populace hadn't changed despite the pokemon which meant two things off hand. First the people were more than willing to accept the influx of new pokemon, but even more the pokemon despite being accustomed to the wild didn't mind relaxing and coexisting so closely with the people and that was quite an interesting thing to note. The symbiotic relationship of people and Pokemon as a whole seemed to only get stronger despite the problems plaguing the city and that was something to admire as Azad went about his business.
With this brief note taken he would continue on a full set of pokeballs at his side.

It was only moments after setting up his equipment that the first wild pokemon appeared. It was a pokemon the trainer had come across time and time again when venturing through routes that held electric pokemon, this one perhaps was a little stronger and bit more savy seeing as it was the evolved form of the pokemon he was so used to, but the giant pokeball was just that at the end of the day. A giant pokeball.
And while the trainer was interesting in the phisiology of the pokeball mimic he had too much to do to even think of capturing the orb. Though the though of catching a pokeball with a pokeball was rather funny. Like a ouroboros or even more a matroyshka doll. It was on that though that the trainer decided to call his first pokemon out, Kreiss, his trusted dragonair would take the field sapphire eyes focused on his first opponent of the day.
"Don't give it any quarter, knock it out but do not kill. You know the drill." The order were haphazard as the trainer was more focused on perfecting his equipment for todays study all the while the dragonair's focus would flit from the trainer to the wild pokemon that'd challenged the duo. "Dragon Dance." Azad gave the first order and while the dragonair's attack and speed rose the electrode would set up a wall protecting it from any special attacks. A wise move to be sure but not enough to stop the dragonair.
With the draconic energy swirling around the dragon type azad would call the command again the energies surrounding the sapphire dragon becoming fiercer as its body coiled and tensed becoming stronger with each moment. It was then that the electrode decided to attack unleashing its Rollout attempting to slam into the larger dragon pokemon.
While the attack connected the pokemon hadn't manged to gain enough speed to deal terrible damage to the dragonair, but the use of the move left the electrode open to a single attack, all Azad and Dragonair needed to finish off the battle. "One strike. Dragon Rush."
With that the dragon type pokemon would launch it's strongest technique all the boosts it'd given itself culminating into one final attack a deep blue aura surrounding the pokemon as it slammed into the orb knocking back into the wild undoubtedly unconscious from the powerful attack. With the enemy incapacitated kreiss would growl happily before turning to watch the trainer continue his setup in the park.

The second pokemon to make its appearance over the course of the man's study time was a secondary pokemon he'd definitely run into prior when searching for electric types, a cousin the the pikachu line, minun a pokemon native to the hoenn region had managed to make its way to Azad's base camp, and with how tricky they tended to be most likely had ideas of frying his gear as a sort of prank.
With that in mind they trainer and the electric type would clash, Kreiss once again serving as Azad's champion to his beliefs and as such would face off against the electric mouse in the only way trainers and pokemon could, through battle. Thankfully this battle wasn't severe, It would be an easy fight or a fight if only because the Dragonair's resisted the majority of the minun's attacks.
Azad would spend the first two turns ordering the dragon type to buff itself allowing harsher draconic energies twice over basking in the strength while the pikachu look-a-like would attack with generally ineffective moves both discharge and swift while pretty did little to actually harm the dragonair. With it's strength boosted exponentially the dragon pokemon would surround itself with a fierce draconic aura only further strengthened by the energy he'd gathered previous before using his entire slender body to slam into the Minun promptly knocking out the electric type and leaving the two back to their research

The final pokemon to appear in the trainer's study of the area was one he was unfamiliar with entirely, but it's eyes reminded the trainer of many of his own pokemon. "Dragonair stand down" The dragon type who'd locked eyes with the electric wolf pokemon would turn away from the wild pokemon slightly annoyed with his trainer for forcing it to back down from what could have potentially been a great battle instead the pokemon would focus on guarding the trainer's equipment while Azad himself would step up to challenge the black coated wolf-like creature.
A quick scan of the pokedex revealed the pokemon was known as Luxray and also happened to be one of the more powerful Electric types out there. Even more due to it's make up it's eyes had the ability to see through solid walls giving it a sort of X-ray vision. When it came to lore work Azad was certain adding Luxray to his part would be extra useful and so Azad entered the battle with all intent to capture such a cool pokemon. That said the pokemon he chose to combat the electric type was more than slightly unorthodox.
From a pokeball came a small blue aquatic pokemon kindly facing down the wolf that was no less then four times bigger than itself. Azad however had no qualms or fears when it came to battling a pokemon with such a distinct type advantage and it'd show not only his pose or expression, but in his eyes particularly. Regardless, the Luxray would begin taking the first move with it's bite attack Azad ordering the Mudkip into its bide all the while. And so when the wolf chomped on the Mudkip the pokemon would yelp but still manage to keep its wits about him breathing a bit heavier.
Following the first bite the Luxray would follow up with a full thunderfang the Mudkip still simply refusing to go down, but with two attacks complete the bide was ready to unleash itself and so in one swift movement the water pokemon would slam itself into the Luxray's side almost knocking it out entirely. Azad expected the bide to knock it out, in fact but the wolf perhaps out of pride simply refused to go down. Angered by the technique and the water type the luxray would prepare a final thunder fang, but as the pokemon came down a white light would surround the Mudkip forcing the pokemon to grow twice its original size.
Despite the electricity of the fangs latching on to the water type the electricity did nothing this time around Marshtomp having an innate full resistance to the pokemon. "Finish it with Rock Slide." Azad hadn't counted on the evolution but with the Luxray out of commission the trainer was certainly thankful. And so a great ball would fly hopefully ending the conflict and his campaign in the park.
