[attr="class","life"] ❝ life is full of little lies and most of them are mine. there are things even my mind can't deny. [attr="class","les"] I T would’ve been great if it weren’t for these three Pokémon getting in their way. All he wanted to do was to protect the goddess or talk to her at least but it looks like faith wants to get the best of him how annoying. “We can take them on you three right?” In the end Cody is a fighter it’s in his blood and he can’t help it. Sometimes the male wonders why he became a cop in the first place. It sounded like a lot of fun and adventurous however it prevents him from using his fighter side. It was such a pain in the neck! It seemed like Morgana was in but not the other two. It looks like they ran off with the others causing the cop and Morgana to facepalm. “Seriously you guys?” He cried before shaking his head. It’s sad how he is closer to Morgana than his own starter Pokémon he really needs to fix that. Anyways it looks as if the rest of them are fleeing so he has no choice but to follow. Gosh this hurts his pride so much but he tries to swollen it in. He took a deep breath before turning his gaze to Leah. First thing first protect the goddess. “Time to go are you ready goddess?” Cody swept Leah Moore off her feat allowing her to rest peacefully in his arms. It’s unusual for the young man to act this way. It felt like he was being hypnotized or something. Cody turned his head to Morgana giving a slow nod. “Let’s slow them down even more Morgana use Icy Wind on the ground to turn the grass into ice. If they try to follow they will have a slippery ride!”Morgana hates to admit it but she is just like her trainer. She hates running away from her pray even if they’re ten times stronger than her. It hurts her pride just like Cody this is so annoying why do these two get along so well when it comes to this? Well for now she better listen to what Cody has to say and make a run for it since she sure doesn’t want to be left behind. The Sneasel made sure the others would follow before shooting down ice to the ground to form a icy slide! The Sneasel snickered before chasing after her trainer. | [attr="class","goodness"] ✉ EVENT ✉ tags are in the post ✎ idk words |

DAY DREAMING, A... Goddess? Leah's face burned a bright red as the blond approached her with sparkling eyes. Any sort of response she might have had was quickly overlooked by the others getting the bearings and chatting with each other. Even as Leah looked around and tried to take inventory of everything happening, she couldn't help but let her eyes linger on Cody. Beautiful? Suddenly, she couldn't help but mess with her hair, running her lithe fingers through it as she pulled the long locks over her shoulder. A nervous gesture that hopefully didn't draw too much attention to her. For now, she'd just go with the flow and follow the others. Occasioanlly, she'd nod along with the conversation, a mild look of shock hitting her when she realized everyone had that strange nightmare. Perhaps it was tied to whatever was happening? Also, why was she the only girl here?! Now that the topic had decisively shifted focus from her, she started to relax a little, her blush mellowing down just enough for her to not be a stiff as a board. Well, that was until a roar all but shook the ground beneath them. All eyes snapped towards the anger bears, but it was only Leah who found herself actually scared. The color drained from her face and she took a half step back. Truth be told, she didn't even think to reach down for her pokeballs until the others started making their commands. But what could she even do? None of her Pokemon had access to any movement impairing moves -- and even if they did, they were all so weak. Solstice, the Snorut, especially so. Being only a baby, it was more of a hindrance in battle, truth be told-- So caught up in her own terror, she hardly heard what Cody said to her. It wasn't until she felt his arm slide under her knees that her brain seemed to catch up with the situation. Resting neatly in his arms, Leah could only blink (and blush even more) as he rushed down the hill to catch up with the others. Oh gosh, oh lord, oh my. What did she even say? "T-Thank you," she stammered under her breath, eyes looking away shyly. "U-Uhm, I can probably walk on my own, though." 10 ;; avg lvl 000 ;; words <3 <3 <3

{ } Noticing that there were actually berries dotting the landscape, Derek pocketed some, eating one for every three or so that he'd save for after the climb. He even noticed quite a few empty pokeballs lying around, taking three for himself before knocking any others down to flatter grounds below so that the others needn't worry as they made their escape. After all, Derek could easily hear the roars coming from up on the plains, as well as trainers giving orders to their pokemon. It seemed he was right to take initiative in heading down here so quickly. However, the jungle still presented a mysterious challenge of it's own. The empty pokeballs made him wonder...were there trainers here before? And if so, what happened to them, their pokemon...if he had to guess, the pokeballs were the only things left of'em. He gave a serious look out towards the jungle, eyeing it's depths now that he'd been able to get a closer look. It definitely seemed like prime hunting grounds for some dangerous pokemon that didn't encounter humans regularly. Lowering a hand to his Charmander's shoulder, it pulled it's tail out in front of it like Derek had asked. "Let's let everyone regroup down here before we head in, okay?"His pokemon nodded before making a similar gaze out into the jungle. Human or pokemon, this place didn't give off good vibes, but at least they had strength in numbers going for them. This could work. MADE BY VEL OF GS + WW

On the plus side, he was glad that he was not alone... On the down side, now there more pokemon all around them. While the brawler in him wanted to fight these things, he had an odd feeling he was not going to be able to catch these ones. Alright! Then it was indeed time for plan two. Escape. Several people were already heading towards the woods, he lifted up pokeballs and recalled Kabuto and Dilla, leaving his ghost type out with him.
"Aurora, you are to follow me unless something gets too close, then get my attention and we shall deal with it. For now, he need to get moving." He spoke quickly, turning on heel and heading after the group. He was behind, but right now, that was by design. If the Ursarings caught up to them, Aurora could slow them by putting them to sleep, he only really worried about the Bewear. He didn't know anything about it, so for now, it was time to move as quickly as possible towards the others.
Spying the berries, he could only take a moment to grab handfuls of them and hope it would be enough. While he could have Dilla go fishing if need be, he would rather not have his pokemon exhaust himself if they didn't have to. He shook his head as he caught up to the others, looking over each one and taking in faces. For now, it would have to do, at least until he could memorize names.
"Depending on how things are in this jungle, Aurora here can scout ahead. Not much effects her, being a ghost and all." He mentioned as they were all near the edge of the jungle, the great unknown of this island, and with an urgent voice whispering in his ear too.
TLDR -Bosco recalled Croconaw and Kabuto, Gastly remains out. -Grabbed berries as he raced to keep up with the others, while being the last in line. -Offered to use his Gastly to scout.

Yuki look surprised by the answers he was given despite being the one who raised the question in the first. So it was possible for him to be right in his theory that the dream was related to their appearance on this island? It was too big of a coincidence for them to have the same dream and not be related to their situation. That means that someone is else is here on this island besides this group. Someone who is in pain and needs their help.
Yuki picked his head up in time to watch some of the others go into the jungle with the intent of going towards the temple. The desert resident begun to follow as well after watching the others for a moment. His silver gaze seemed to be fixed on the ancient temple as they made their way through the forest. He wasn't sure why, but he had this feeling. It felt like he was being called to the temple. He wasn't sure if everyone else felt the same, but one thing seemed for certain to him. The answers to what is happening here lie in the temple.
A loud roar made the purple haired trainer freeze in place as if he was paralyzed in fear. Turning his head, he could see three big and very angry bear pokemon making their way towards them. That was more than enough motivation to give him to start sprinting down the path with the others. But he wasn't just fleeing. His hand reached down for a third pokemon and released his Treecko onto his shoulders.
Yuki came to a complete stop to face the direction the bear pokemon were coming from. "Help everyone slow them down please!" With the order given out his pokémon got to work. Treecko fired a large green ball of energy at one of the Ursaring while Growlithe shot a burst of fire at the second. Poochyena on the otherhand didn't attack. Instead, he kicked up the dirt towards the Bewear. Hopefully they would be able to slow them down even a little bit.
Yuki and his pokémon soon resumed their fleeing down the path with everyone else. However, Treecko noticed the items on the ground and grab some out of curiousity. The grass type's trainer noticed this and took it from him so it wouldn't slow him down. It seems he was too busy to question why they were on the road at the moment. Getting to safety with everyone was his main priority.
Treecko(12), Growlithe(11), poochyena(10)
-Followed everyone on the path to the Temple -Treecko used energy ball on Ursaring -Growlithe used Ember on the second Ursaring -Poochyena used sand attack on Bewear. -Yuki got a few berries and pokeball while making sure he doesn't fall behind.

[googlefont=Roboto Condensed] As both of his Pokemon caught up to Kyle, he recalled his Electrike back to its Pokeball, keeping Poochy 2 the only Pokemon he has out in the field. Others seemed to have taken up the same cause of slowing the wild Pokemon down, not taking a moment to glance on how their efforts have taken fruit. Instead, Kyle had focused on getting away from the bears, running a constant reminder not to poke them further to agitate them more. There were no Pokemon Centers around to heal any of their Pokemon's injuries after all. Stepping further into the forest, he'd spot Derek Hoffman waiting ahead of the group. By him were empty Pokeballs, with berries all around the vicinity. He finally turned his head around. Since there were more than enough efforts to slow the bears down, Kyle decided to catch his breath, his Mightyena on standby as he stood by his heels. "I'm not judging," he'd mention in the most deadpan way he could, specifically remembering him getting accused of trying to see if they were thieves and then finding him with Pokeballs. Getting teleported in the middle of nowhere was already strange enough that he couldn't find himself to question where the Pokeballs came from. He simply figured this was some kind of experiment from the government or something idiotic like that. Taking his share of the loot, he'd proceed to fill his pockets with berries. >> Runs ahead of those trying to slow the bears down >> Reaches the forest and sees the loot >> Fills his pocket with his berries and some Pokeballs cause no loot gets left behind MADE BY NOVA

★ Shut up and dance with me. Halfway down the slope Zatka pauses eyeballing the berries and breakfast. Would be better if he had a blender and some yogurt. He grabbed a handful getting ready to pop one in his mouth when Flynn snatched the one between his fingers.
"Hey,"Zatka wined only to be zapped by Sada making him drop the other two into her hands. She ate one before passing the other one to Flash.
"Seriously," Zatka groaned. So much for breakfast. Sada just rolled her eyes. They'd be pulling all the weight so it only made sense they got breakfast before him.
Sada walked ahead. They were falling behind now and Zatka sighed following her. The four of them arriving at the base of the climb. The grass felt so much better than bear rocks.
"What's this," Zatka asked grabbing a few of the balls Derek had knocked down the cliff. "Seems a bit different from normal ones."
Not that he really cared. He just wanted some civilization. Heck at this point he'd settle for a log cabin, fishing pole and a frying pan. He was never one to rough it but he'd try if that meant breakfast.

The Bewear was zapped with a wave of electricity that seemed to tighten against his muscles, slowing him down considerably though he fought through total paralysis in order to continue forward. The female Ursaring, meanwhile, was enveloped in the fluffiness of a white cloud that left traces of drowsiness. { } "I'll go in and make a path with Zeke." Derek proclaimed to Cody Spencer as they mentioned everyone needed to head inside the jungle for "safety". From the bears, anyway. Derek also reserved a similar eerie feeling about headed inside, which was why he wanted to have somebody get a feel for it before everyone walked into a big pit of spider pokemon, or something to that extent... Zeke the Charmander quickly held out his tail in front of him, making sure that even the densest parts of the foliage did not go without at least some light so that they could still properly see. Immediately things got a lot more quiet as they ventured inside just a couple yards or more. There were some fallen trees that obstructed what appeared to be a natural path, but otherwise it was your typical forest-like environment this far in. Leaves and other foliage dotted the ground, making it impossible to trek silently along with all the stuff you had to push out of your way so that it didn't brush your face and cause irritation via some kind of plant-based poison. Using the sturdy sticks he used to make his descent down to the jungle's edge, Derek had been knocking the foliage down and out of the way as to make a visible clearing for the other trainers to see. It would've been nice to have had his Scyther out here with him to do just that, but improvisations had to be made. And Derek was actually enjoying it until he swore he heard a stick or branch snap around him... He was really hoping it was somebody following from behind in his foot-steps, and not one of the jungle's pokemon inhabitants seeking to make them prey. MADE BY VEL OF GS + WW

[googlefont=Roboto Condensed] Would flames even be good in this situation? The thought was the first thing that came to mind upon seeing the bears tumble down to a pile. He wasn't sure what the others did back there as he ran straight to the forest as soon as he impeded their movements, but whatever it was, it resulted to something interesting. Just slowing them down would've been great, though he wasn't sure what happened to that made the bears frenzied. This wasn't something he could salvage just by afflicting them with status conditions, he thought. He glanced at his Electrike's Pokeball, still clutched in his hand when he had been stuffing his pockets with berries. Perhaps a little skirmish to calm these wild Pokemon down would be the best course of action for now. "I'll try slowing these bears down. I'll, uh, catch up." While he sounded heroic, it was more like he didn't like the prospect of dealing with the unknown and he'd rather be exploring a place that has already been mapped. "You go ahead too," he'd nudge Poochy 2. "I'll track you and the others down with Poochy One if need be." With Poochy 2 reluctantly leaving his trainer behind, Kyle sent out his Electrike once again (even though he just recalled him back to his ball). "We're gonna have to use Discharge this time." His choice would have been Flamethrower, but he'd rather not risk starting a forest fire and suffocating everyone else in smoke. Besides, having a large area-of-effect attack would be much more effective when dealing with multiple Pokemon. While the bears were trying to recover from their fall, Electrike started to dash forward, only to be stopped by Kyle's words. "Back up!" They had the range advantage and Kyle would rather keep the distance between themselves and the aggressive wild Pokemon. Electricity was released soon afterwards, with Kyle backing away from the display of force that his Electrike had showed off, as bolts fired off from the Electric-type to what seemed like random directions. Thankfully, his Pokemon had been able to direct most of them to the pair of Ursaring and the Bewear. >> Kyle stays behind to delay the bears >> Kyle sends Poochy 2 to go with them in case he takes long enough >> Sends Electrike out again and uses Discharge on the bears MADE BY NOVA

[attr="class","les"] C ody gave a slight nod to Derek before turning his head back to the rest of the team however it seems as if the Mohawk guy decided to stay behind to take on the bears all by himself. The cop couldn’t help but to growl underneath his breath feeling his pride wanting to kick in to stay by the mans side. He wants to fight these things so badly since he’s a fighter however there is a time and place for him to back down and he feels like this is that time. Even though this is the case, he refuses to leave a comrade behind that’s for sure. “Gosh quit trying to act cool it’s making me look bad! You’re not doing this alone Mohawk guy shit I don’t even know your fucking name!” The Ranger snapped before turning his head back to Derek. “I know I want to follow him to the cave so we can get to safety and that’s coming from a fighter who wouldn’t hesitate to sit back and take on these damn bears. If your going to stay behind likes this then I’ll stay with you. I refuse to leave a comrade behind in a dangerous situation like this however.” He paused before flipping his bang away from his face. Kyle Lee “Right now we’re in a tough situation and there are times we shouldn’t fight. Oh who am I kidding lecturing someone that I don’t know? I feel like my brother all over again.” Cody shook his head before crossing his arms. “I think we have enough time to make an actual decision on the matter. I know the other guy went deeper into the cave so I can always warn him about our current situation by sending Fae or Palos after him. So with that said let’s decide quickly on the matter.” Cody took a deep breath before sighing underneath his breath. “Great I know I like being serious at times but this is ridiculous.” He mumbled underneath his breath hoping the others didn’t catch it. Shaking his head, the cop turned his gaze over to Morgana giving a slow nod. “Morgana, Fae, and Palos for the time being ready in action!” Morgan snickered before unleashing her claws ready to attack if they plan on attacking these dangerous cuddly beasts. ★ Shut up and dance with me. Zatka dodged sideways as a ball of bears came tumbling down. The guy laughing at the trio. He really couldn't help it.
"They should join the circus," Zatka said clearly very amused. Sada rolled her eyes looking to Flash and Flynn.
The flaaffy began making movements with her hands. Mainly saying there was no point in dragging out the battle and that they should fight.
Flynn had to agree with the flaaffy. She wiggled in her trainer's arms till he put her down. Seems his pokemon were ready to rumble.
"Ah, well I guess they want to join the party," Zatka said not really minding. He knew for a fact he wouldn't be outrunning them. So might as well knock them out while they got the chance.
"Let's see Flame Wheel, Sada charge up, Flynn light it up," Zatka ordered a grin on his face.
Sada began charging her electricity. her body sparking as it built up. The other two though went after the trio. Flash could feel the electricity in the ground from the Electrikes earlier discharge. The Typhlosion barrelling past him before consuming himself in flames as he slammed into the trio.
Flynn waited a long moment before joining in letting her partner get out of the way. The fish shooting forth frozen air that reflected the light in a colorful array. It was rather wide and with the bears still, mostly together it wasn't hard to hit them.
"You know, coordinating is fun and all but so much work. I can kind of see why trainers like this sort of thing. Just sit back chill out and yell when you need to," Zatka said watching them.

[googlefont=Roboto Condensed] "I-it wasn't even trying to act cool. It was just the logical thing to do..."If anything, Kyle didn't even want to be in the spotlight. If this guy wanted to get all the glory, then by all means, he'd rather have him take all of them. Though he tried to remain his composure, creases nevertheless appeared on his forehead. "I'm not sure what you're rambling about, but if you wanna do it instead, feel free to do so." It was too early for him to even try to understand the words that came from his mouth anyways "Besides, it's like 6am. I can argue about it later."His finger pointed to Zatka, who already seemed to be Cutie Cody's acquaintance. "You can take care of him instead if you want to stay behind too." Having a lot of them lag behind defeats the purpose of slowing the bears down for the main group to advance forward. Perhaps two or so would be fine for it if Kyle was going to think about efficiency. "I'll go ahead and join with the ones in front then." The bears weren't the only dangers in this forest for all they know, but Kyle figured Cody had considered it already since he did suggest moving onward. He whistled, calling his Electrike back to him, who seemed to be disappointed to be pulled out of action so soon. Kyle motioned to Cody's own Electrike as soon as his own reached him. "Give him a little something something." His Electrike fired his electricity to the other, charging him up through activating his Lightning Rod. That should help the guy deal with the bears much better if his own Electrike could take advantage of the perk. "Oh, and it's Kyle. Good luck. Thanks."No emotion had been on his farewell as Kyle proceeded to wave a hand at them before dipping out. He seemed to know what he was talking about anyways, and so maybe Kyle shouldn't be worrying much about them. Plucking a berry as he walked past the bushes and snacking on it, he got his Electrike to the front as he followed the rest to the unknown. >> Kyle argues that he goes ahead since Cody wants to deal with the bears instead >> Kyle's Electrike activates Cody's Electrike's Lightning Rod cause he thought it'll be useful >> Kyle ditches Cody and Zatka to help Derek in the lead MADE BY NOVA

Bosco had caught up with the group and was walking with them for the moment, then he heard the person who was behind them, wanting to stand there and battle it out with the group of bears. He turned on heel, his eyes locked on him and the pokemon he was going to be using to try to stand against these bears.
"Are you insane? Or just stupid?" He asked, motioning to the island itself. "We don't know what kind of pokemon are on the island. We barely know anything about this island. This battle could attract far more powerful pokemon and more of them. You would be alone. With two pokemon, and then attempting to track us down. While I have faith in your pokemon's tracking ability, it would simply waste time. Stick with us and work with us." He said, motioning to the group.
"Your pokemon are dog types, so they can track, but seriously." He said, shaking his head. "Gastly. Scout ahead of us along the path, about twenty five feet or so. If you find any pokemon, come back and let us know so we can be prepared." He said, heading back towards the group. "We should keep an eye out for anything on the path towards the temple and move quickly." He suggested, looking over each person.
