Felt like another eventful day had gone by despite not much happening. Alburn, and his young Houndour, Peaches were on their way back to Kogane City, Al's place of birth, and where he currently lives. Despite being the way he is, Alburn wasn't really that much of a fan of noisy places, but Kogane of course holds a special place in his heart. Al kept on walking with his arms folded behind the back of his head. His appearance was rather relaxed, and calm, even having a smile that matched. Peaches on the other hand appeared more alert while walking beside her trainer. Her face was as stern as ever, showing that she is the type to be taken seriously. Al glanced down at her, and noticed this, causing him to sigh before saying, "Come on, girl. Ya don't have to be on the defensive twenty-four seven." Al claimed with a light chuckle, resulting in Peaches glaring up at him with a low growl which Alburn responded to by looking away while whistling. "Don't have to be on the offensive all day neither..." he mumbled, before suddenly stopping. Peaches would continue to walk for a small bit before stopping, and looking back at her trainer. "Ah ha!" Al suddenly said with a snap of his fingers, an epiphany striking him out of nowhere. This caused Peaches to turn fully around to face the one eyed man with a slight tilt to her head, her stern expression not at all changing despite it being obvious that she's confused by this. "Look at that sunset, Peaches!" Alburn shouted, pointing up at the orange sky. "Can't see anything like this in the city. Man, wild pokemon sure do have it good don't they?" Alburn laughed before making his way to a tree, deciding to lean his back against it as he slid down onto his butt. The orange haired man pulled out a sketch book, and pencil with a grin on his face. He opened it to a fresh page that was void of any markings. He was just about to begin drawing, the tip of his pencil resting on the blank page before he realized...
"Ahh...crap."
There was just simply too much art worthy material here in this route, in that sky! He was not sure where exactly to star which was a common issue Alburn ran into every time he wished to draw something. "Think think think..." he repeated, smacking himself lightly on the face with his pencil over, and over in the process. The sound of rustling would quickly get Alburn out of his little crisis however. He was just about ready to get up, believing it to be a wild pokemon until he noticed that it was Peaches just running back, and forth, attempting to nab an elusive leaf with her mouth, but it just seems to keep on nearly avoiding her clutches! Alburn chuckled. It was times like this that reminded him that Peaches is still just a pup despite her serious demeanor. This also gave the aspiring Ranger an idea on what to draw, so he immediately lowered his head, and his pencil started to dance against the empty page with pauses from time to time to look up at his precious Houndour who was unaware of this, and completely focused on that leaf.

Peaches is definitely a little goofball when she gets worked up like this. Almost as if she's a completely different Houndour when running around, chasing that leaf. Alburn found himself stopping in the middle of his drawing, and just being captivated by his Houndour's little pursuit. "Yeah, show that leaf who's boss, Peaches!" Alburn cheered playfully, but Peaches didn't show him any attention. There was a moment where the breeze died down, causing the leaf to land on the grass. Seeing this as her moment, the Houndour would pounce at it, only for the wind to pick up just in time to blow it away. The poor pup. She growled, and continued to chase only to end up finding herself tripping over something round within the bushes. "Peaches?" Alburn placed his sketchbook, and pencil onto the ground before running his way towards Peaches. He crouched down to see if she was alright, but Peaches quickly got to her feet with a bit of dirt on her, and began to growl at what was responsible for her falling, ignoring the leaf that she was chasing which now rested calmly on the top of her head. Alburn looked at the sphere object as well, seeing the familiar red, and white color, he simply shook his head. "Oh lighten up will ya?" the one eyed man said as he proceeded to pick up the ball. Peaches' eyes followed the ball, continuing to growl as Alburn chuckled, bouncing it a bit in his hand. "It's just a pokeball. I understand you're no fan of em, but it's not like it's going to fight back." Alburn claimed as he continued chucking it in the air, but the moment it came back down into his palm, it started to vibrate. With an eyebrow raised, Alburn looked at the ball, and noticed...a pair of eyes glaring back at him. The guy tilted his head, still trying to process what he was seeing.
SMACK
The sound that was heard once the sphere smacked itself right into poor Alburn's face, causing him to fall over. "Ahh..." Alburn grabbed his nose with one of his hands while holding his pokedex with the other to scan the orb that rested aggressively on his stomach now. "Oh...a Voltorb...huh..." This explains why Peaches was so defensive. Soon, the Voltorb would notice Peaches who attempted to pounce at it, but unfortunately for her, the ball was elusive. It immediately bounced out of the way, causing the Houndour to land on Al's stomach. Alburn winced, gritting his teeth as Houndour jumped off. The poor teen was now laying on his side, holding his stomach as he watched the two. "Alright...guess it's fighting time..." Al stated as he continued to lay there. "Howl!" Alburn yelled out. Peaches' aggressive expression would shift to a more sinister one before she let out a strong howl, making her stronger. The Voltorb then started rolling quickly towards Houndour, throwing itself at her with a tackle! The attack made contact, pushing Peaches back a bit, and causing her to grit her teeth with her eyes closed. "Heh...will take more than that to take down my girl. Use Leer!" Alburn commanded...while still laying on the ground. The moment Peaches opened her eyes, she shot a real intimidating glare Voltorb's way. Voltorb shuddered a bit, appearing as if he were about to bounce back at bit, but quickly got over it, and attempted to roll its way towards Peaches again. "Vooooollllll!!" Peaches stood her ground with confidence, keeping her eyes glued on the incoming ball as did Alburn who waited for the right moment.
"Ember!!"
With that command given by Alburn, Peaches opened her mouth which had a bit of smoke leaking out. Shortly after, three small bursts of flames shot out of her mouth, each hitting Voltorb directly, throwing it back a bit onto the ground with a few bounces! The "T-t-torb..." Voltorb winces with only one eye open, and some burn marks on its body. "Nailed it!" Alburn claimed as he finally sat up, getting right back onto his feet shortly after. He walked over to the struggling Voltorb while Peaches continued to growl at it. "Calm down." he said softly to his Houndour who backed off. Alburn lowered himself to look closely at the Voltorb with a smile. "Yo, you're definitely a fighter, my dude....I like that." he said in the same soft tone. as he took out a pokeball from his belt. Peaches' ears perked up at the sight of this, knowing full well what her trainer was attempting. "Maybe we can help each other get stronger, yeah?" As he said this, he gently tapped the pokeball against the Voltorb's head, causing the ball to open, and a red light beams out towards the Voltorb, turning it into the same red color before beaming it into the ball. Alburn that placed the ball onto the ground, and backed up a bit to see if it will accept his offer.
