Kichirou was the only person he could see for miles when it came to walking down the Route 39. It was well known for breeding and farming but at the time he was there it was dead silent. He figured that, with it being lunch time and all they would have all been called in for their lunch by their wives and mothers. But not this Actor! He and his Chatot were busy travelling away from Asagi City.
They had been there to do some sightseeing; after all it was going to be a while before they were allowed to enter a pokemon contest. His very first one and he was still in training to get ready for it. He and Cid had the looks and grace of course but… the style?
How could one even train on style? Was it the moves that they used? Did they need to keep fighting until they found the moves they needed to actually get the job done and win a contest? He figured it was their best chance to win one of these if they actually hunted down pokemon to catch and find.
”Okay Cid,” Kichirou would remark as he threw the pokeball containing his Chatot. We’re going on a hunt for pokemon to fight. After all we need you to be at your peek performance when you’re strutting your stuff on stage!”
“Strutting! Strutting your stuff!” Cid would mimic, obviously enthused by the idea being able to wow people with how perfect he was. Kichirou couldn’t help but laugh and nod at the idea that they were going to eventually win one of these contests.
”Then lets start looking around this Route and finding a Pokemon who would dare match up to you.” He would then begin to look around in the distance, as well as along the fences and grass that would like the Route away from the city.
Surely there wasn’t anything that could be hiding here, right? It would be so easy to see something that was out in the plain open… unless he was just a little blind (a possibility).
