While Elijah tended to his 'mess,' Leon took the time to get a potion out and use it on Taft. A few nicks here and there, mostly just an attempt on Leon's part to help Taft get a bit more courage for the small treck back to the city.

Once Elijah was done, Taft was bounding down by their feet and walking a bit ahead of them. His four legs pounced as he trotted toward the city. Leon had just about made a comment about how strange it was the other just 'sort of ended up there' when suddenly there was a clawing at his leg.

"Eeeeeep--NO!" Leon reeled away from the feeling so quickly one would have thought the Breeder knew Extreme Speed. "What the-" He glared at the Sableye. Once he saw the dumb thing was being taken care of, he groaned and took a breath of air. "Why do these things attack me? What in the world did I do to deserve such treatment??"

Leon turned to look at Taft who seemed frozen in place. Seemed as if a Snubbull made a SCARY FACE at Taft, one scary enough to stop the Eevee in his tracks.

"You've got to be kidding me." Leon groaned. "C'mon Taft, I'd like to get into a comfortable bed." Because he honestly needed to browse some social media or watch pointless videos just to make the day end on a good note. He'd be having nightmares about claws on his legs for days.

Taft's ears perked up and despite his fear, he faded from sight. A QUICK ATTACK had the Eevee's body colliding with the Snubbull, who opened it's mouth to release a shining and chilled ICE FANG. Taft pushed with his paws against the Snubbull's skin, but the flabs and rolls had him losing grip. He retaliated that cold bite with one of his own, BITEing down on the Snubbull's fat.

The Snubbull's jaw released him and Taft landed, bouncing back and letting out a quick array of SWIFT stars. The Snubbull had no chance of avoiding them and once they were done hitting, he ran toward the Eevee in an attempt to TACKLE him to the ground. Taft let the attack connect so that he could chomp his teeth down onto Snubbull, BITEing him yet again.

Once the Eevee released him, the Snubbull groaned and returned back into the grass. So much for a 'fun time' playing with the two of them. Seemed those two didn't get a kick out of scaring people as much as he did.
