 HEY I'M FEELING TIRED
MY TIME IS GONE TODAY ― Tanba City was definitely not her speed. Frufru coordinators dressed in extravagant and irrational costumes dashed in and out of buildings, hopping along uncomfortably. A lot of up-and-coming photographers lurked around corners trying to take samples for their portfolio. It was too crowded and rose-colored. It was nice to be back in the wild.
The earthy terrain dirtied Fran's tennis shoes once more, kicking stones around her ankles. The air tasted fresher. She breathed slowly, her emerald eyes burning bright under the sun.
Beside her tumbled a series of boulders. The digits reached up toward the sky, where the horned head of her onix drooped lazily. Detroit wanted to take a nap. But they had just left the city, and quite frankly, Fran wanted to put some distance between them and that town. It was one of the noisiest places she had visited along her journey thus far.
The wild-haired woman pressed on in the warm afternoon, following a well-used dirt road. Up ahead Fran could discern a bridge, connecting the east side of the river to the west side. The sound of rushing water reached her ears.
Detroit perked up for a moment. He wasn't necessarily fond of water itself, but something about the sound those untamed waves made him fall into a deep sleep. The large beast trailed away from his trainer's side, leaving the path briefly to make way toward the water's edge.
Fran looked on as her onix passed her by. She narrowed her eyes, trying to size up what he was doing. But watching him close the distance between himself and the edge of the river made her understand.
The woman shrugged and followed suit. They weren't necessarily in a rush, and she did feel drained from all the energy being passed around the city. Detroit, reaching a safe distance away from the river, tucked his tail into himself. His listless eyes closed instantly.
His trainer smacked a hand on his hide, and threw herself over his body. She landed within the rocky coil, and planted herself comfortably. Detroit adjusted to give his trainer room before falling into a doze. Fran threw her hands behind her head, leaning against her pokemon comfortably. She wasn't tired yet. Instead she looked on at the river, quietly listening to its rushing energy. She was calm. |

It truly was a beautiful day. sun shining, birds chirping and crash. The serene beauty of the environment would be perfect if it was not for one minor detail. Ares and his flying hopeful, Khaerys the bagon. With the two walking by the river bank the sandy haired lad had allowed the small dragon to do as she pleased. It had been a decently long time discrepancy from the last time they had such an opportunity to actually relax and actually unwind. The former of the two definitely needed to relax more so than the other; especially sporting an injury at this given moment in time.
As the two walked on, the weather warm temperature was beginning to have an effect of the young man, causing him to get tired, additionally keeping up with an overly exited dragon could drain anyone of their energy reserves relatively quickly. But truly whilst he was tired he mainly just wanted to sit down. Thus Ares headed over to a large rock formation that would also provide Khaerys multiple opportunities to jump off in her cute attempt to fly.
Scaling the rocks would not be an easy task especially with the use of one hand, but with help of the rocks odd design he was able to scamble himself to the plateau of the relative mass. Unbeknownst to him that what Ares had thought to be a strange looking rock formation was in fact an onix. Needless to say Khaerys scrambled up the rocks soon after Ares and jumped without any hesitation as she still believed she could fly. As the rock head pokemon dived head first down towards FRAN FALLONE who neither Ares or his pokemon had seen yet; the sandy haired individual sat down looking at the watery waves, slowly putting himself to sleep.

MY TIME IS GONE TODAY ― Detroit began to stir. Fran elected to ignore his movements, as it could easily be chocked up to some dream he was having. Instead she continued to watch the river before her rush energetically. Rather than allowing her mind to wander to the things that she had to worry about, she left it blank. Sure she had no job at the moment, depleting funds, and a couple people she may want to keep in contact with and no phone... But hey, the sun was bright, the afternoon was still, and her onix kept her comfortably snug within his coiled digits.
Detroit stirred again. Fran blinked. It was just one of those rare afternoons where the fighter felt at peace. With the excitement of the city behind her, she could enjoy the wild once more.
Detroit began to roll. His trainer pulled herself from her recline, placing her hands on the ground for leverage. She looked over her shoulder at her onix's face, which was now awake. Fran gestured in question to what had disturbed his slumber, but her question was soon answered with a large thump to her head.
"Son of a bitch!" She cried, her hands reaching for the top of her head. Her emerald eyes soon moved to the beast that had suddenly fallen into her lap. It was a small blue creature with stubby arms and a rock hard noggin. It looked up at her.
Fran was not so amused. Her hand flew to the pokemon's face, gripping it from either side with her thumb and fingers, and squished. It might have been what some people did to babies to get them to eat their food, but the fighter's grasp was more threatening. "The fuck do you think you're doin'?" She spat.
The dark-haired woman soon realized this creature was not a wild, as its trainer crawled on the bouldering body of her onix. Detroit grumbled, rolling slightly in an attempt to push the teenager off his back. He wasn't so interested in the encounter. More so interested in getting back to sleep.
Fran looked over her shoulder at the stranger. He was noticeably younger than her, with blonde hair, and burning red eyes. He must have been another trainer.
Without loosening her grip on the pokemon, Fran spoke. "Does this belong to you?" She offered, pulling the dragon's face slightly to show the boy. |

What started as a harmless dive from Ares perspective changed into something more serious ever so quickly. But what cause Ares more of an issue was the fact the rocks he was perched on was not a boulder; infact it was a pokemon, an onix to be exact. Despite this Ares did not move off the rock pokemon, he was clinging on for dear life with the one functional hand that he actually had. Fuck, this was awkward.
With the young man hanging on for dear life, he could just about see the woman, pulling the cheeks of Khaerys like a grandma does to their grandchild, but the added on threatening tone was just not helping the situation. 'Oh boy.' The sandy haired individual was worried what was to come next, and for good reason. He could see the fear, and frustration in the face of the young dragon. Then it happened, the impeding moment of a prideful and hopeful dragon let loose when it felt threatened.
Khaerys opened her mouth and released the largest flamethrower at the face of FRAN FALLONE as she held her tightly. 'Ah fuck.' Inwardly face palming himself Ares was just wishing that this event was unfolding, but even though this was happening, the trainer had to figure out how he was going to get down from the the elevated structure of the onix back to the safety of the ground.
"Hey uh, help me out and let me down." Ares sheepishly asked from his location completely out of his natural character but this lady was extremely aggressive and he wasn't looking to get his other arm broken anytime soon. He recalled back to the time where a female by the name of Vivian tried to help him which only resulted more harm that good. "Aye, its my pokemon, help me out would ya."
Whether or not Ares actually got assistance from this woman was totally flippant depending on how she felt on Khaerys torching her face.

HEY I'M FEELING TIRED
MY TIME IS GONE TODAY ― Fran could feel a warm rumbling in the throat of the strange pokemon. As she continued to grip its cheeks, its eyes changed, Now that she had a good look at it, she could tell it was only a child. Its mouth began to fill with heat that pulsed into her finger tips. Feeling wary, Fran quickly tilted the dragon's mouth head back. It released its flamethrower into the air, but sitting so close to such powerful flames caused Fran discomfort as she suddenly began to sweat.
The boy approached from behind before his pokemon had released its attack. The wild-haired woman looked over her shoulder at him, an annoyed gaze burning into his ruby eyes.
Detroit growled at the young duo. Not only had they infiltrated his dreams, but the child pokemon had brought danger to his partner. The onix may have been lazy, but he wasn't going to let any harm come to Fran.
The bouldering snake opened his mouth once more to grumble at the beast and its trainer. But as his jaw dropped, Fran tossed the little dragon inside. She did not break eye contact with the boy before her. "Can't you control you own pokemon?" She accused harshly. Her onix snapped his mouth shut, containing the bagon for the time being.
Noticing the strangers slung arm, Fran assumed he wouldn't be able to get off her pokemon without trouble. "Fine, get here," the woman spoke, an undertone of annoyance still playing on her words. She grabbed for the young man's working hand to steady him off Detroit. As she did so, her eyes caught movement beyond the group. A pair of bushes shook as two wild pokemon pulled themselves closer. The wilds appeared to be friends going for a drink at the local watering hole.
Perhaps it was her new rotten mood, or her natural lack of patience, but Fran did not want to have a whole separate encounter in addition to the handfuls she already had.
"Iron tail," she called to Detroit. The onix spit out the bagon, forcing the young one to tumble along the grass. He then lifted his head, body now freed from the weight of a stranger. The end of the bouldering snake's body began to glow white, and he slammed his tail across the face of the pink dog beyond, sending it reeling back into the bushes it had came from. Unfortunately, the delcatty was able to leap above the low attack, successfully dodging. Having its friend beaten, the cat began to growl angrily. |

Thank the lord, two feet on solid ground and Ares did not even have to fall on his backside from an elevated position thanks to him previously unknowingly rest a top of an onix. As happy as he was to have two feet on the ground, what the young trainer had just witnessed was something caused his entire demeanour to change back to when he was at home in hoenn.
"gonnnnnnn" The sight of the azure dragon being flung around like a rag doll, only to be snapped up but the trainers onix and spat out like a piece of thick viscous phlegm on tarmac of a road. The sound of his dragon's cry caused him to snap. He did not care about whether he had just received help from the woman, but she was a total bitch.
"Oi, you fucking bimbo." Words spoken sharply as if they were surgically prepared to dice from ignorant imbeciles. "I dont care who the fuck you think you are. How dare you treat my pokemon like shit." Broken limb or not, this was his pokemon and he wouldn't tolerate the abuse that she received from that fucker at the dragons den, and yet here was come overly large udder-ed cow treating her like shit.
All 6'3" of Ares was now looking directly at this unrefined woman. Crimson eyes, being the only place where one could see the rage seething from him. The apple does not fall to far from the tree they say, and that falls directly in line for pokemon too. Khaerys, being the one on the receiving end of the abusive nature of Fran and her Onix Detroit; was fuming. She was livid.
The timing was not great for wild pokemon to appear; especially next to Khaerys. The first pokemon that she actually saw was a Delcaty, a cute that was usually loved by everyone, man and beast; but she was taking no prisoners. Charging towards the unsuspecting pokemon, Khaerys used double edge, effectively running into the pokemon like a runaway train, knocking it into the nearby river. The young pokemon was not done however as she had an issue with the onix and its trainer.
One would usually feel sorry or a pokemon floating unconsious down stream, but it seemed like Khaerys was out for blood. And with Ares was defending his pokemon, he had no time to be playing hero for the Delcaty.

MY TIME IS GONE TODAY ― Game. Fucking. On. The teenager spat back a slur of racy words, obviously not okay with what Fran had done to his pokemon. Sure she was being a little aggressive, but she always was. Not to mention the baby dragon had caused this entire mess. The midnight-haired woman did not have the patience for these two disrespectful children.
"Your pokemon gonna act like shit, your pokemon gonna get treated like shit," she spoke in a low tone. Her eyes bore into the boy's. "You got a complaint," she started, taking a menacing stomp toward him, "you come whisper it in my fuckin' ear." She gestured to the side of her head, one fist resting on her hip. Her body language was relaxed; Fran was completely comfortable making such threats. Even at prime health, she was confident she could beat this younger man, no matter the height difference. And she wasn't going to let him talk to her like that.
Before she could get a reply from the stranger, another wild pokemon crept forth from the surrounding trees. Fran crooked her head back, shifting her glare to the new beast. "The fuck do you want?"
Apparently it wanted a fight. Whether the creature was inspired by Fran's hostility, or it simply wanted a brawl with the much larger onix, it charged forward. Fran was almost impressed with its gall, if she wasn't otherwise occupied.
"Dig," she ordered. Before the wild creature could land a punch on Detroit, the bouldering snake burrowed deep within the ground. The kangaskhan slowed to a halt, looking around frantically for its opponent. The earth suddenly gave out beneath the beast as the onix launched himself to the surface. The opponent was beat into the air by the comet, and fell into the bushes with a heavy thud. Detroit began to slink away, believing the battle one, and another beginning between his trainer and the young man beyond.
But the kangaskhan hadn't finished. It struggled onto its feat, wobbling from side to side. It looked exhausted, yet it stood. Fran gave all her attention to the pokemon who was fighting its hardest.
The enemy rushed forward, dukes raised, as it released a hailstorm of punches onto the onix's body. Detroit was pushed back a few paces. He hardened his body with ROCK POLISH and took the COMET PUNCH barrage, allowing the enemy to tire itself out. And eventually it did. Though the beast stood on its own two feet, its hands dropped to its side, and it hung its head. The beast had fainted while standing up.
Fran was most interested in this fighter. She reached into her waist pack and quickly shot a pokeball at the kangaskhan. The device knocked it in the head, swallowing the wild whole. |

The more words she spoke the she more irritated Ares got. She was just irritating, like an older sister towards a younger brother; always finding someway to disrespect their belongings. But this was different. Khaerys, was a child and children shouldnt be abused and thrown around. If that was a human baby would she of done the same?
"Its a fucking child you cow. Would you do the same thing to a human child?" A rhetorical question that Ares spat forward without really expecting a reply but he definitely had a complain and a bone to pick with this grotesque woman. Despite being injured he was not going to back down from this argument, a stubborn ass individual Ares was especially with a moral compass as skewered as his. He's seen this happen before but did not act till now as it has never happened to any of his pokemon.
Khaerys was on a war path, she was not goin down with out a fight and truth be told she would love to sink her little teeth into the woman, but unfortunately it was just not possible to do so. This time another pokemon appeared and what a surprise was it was a tauros. These pokemon were usually herd mentality and her was one on its own. Still running to get at Fran, Khaerys was just using move after move to get to her desired destination. Using dragon claw on the unsuspecting pokemon, Khaerys just irritated the pokemon as it knocked her away with a tail whip. But given the mood of the small dragon that was more than enough to add fuel to the flame.
Being knocked several meters back the young dragon made her presence known with a loud yap and the pokemon. "Bagon!" This in turn caught both Ares and the wild pokemon attention. With Khaerys charging at the wild pokemon she was outclassed by the sheer size and weight of the pokemon. Ares knew he needed to step in but with what, he was unsure whether his words would reach her from such a distance.
"Dragon Rush." Ares spoke as loud as he could without he seeming to be a shout, but thankfully the young dragon had listened. With her smaller body meant better agility and this is what she used to defeat the wild pokemon. Sliding to the side on gravelly shore of the river bank, Khaerys somehow dodged the horn attack of the wild tauros, whilst charging straight into the side of the with the use of her Dragon rush move.
Knocking the wild pokemon into the river just like the last wild pokemon she had encountered Khaerys was one step closer to getting a revenge on her abuser. Unlike Mateo she didnt have to rely on him for a food source, so she definitely was not going to accept this from a stranger.

HEY I'M FEELING TIRED
MY TIME IS GONE TODAY ― "Fuck a kid," Fran spat over her shoulder while retrieving her pokeball. She tucked her new kangaskhan into her waist pack, and turned on her heels to face the teenager once again. She crossed her muscular arms. Why was this boy even still arguing? The banter had already droned on longer than she cared to partake. Fran grew bored of the whole scene now that she had another interest; taking her new pokemon to a center.
When the teenager threatened her, the midnight-haired woman couldn't help but look down to his injured arm. Normally Fran wouldn't think twice about beating a cripple, if he was as big of a punk ass as this trainer. However, his tenacity and willingness to get his teeth kicked in was something to consider.
The little dragon charged at Fran, and Detroit lazily coiled around his trainer in respond. However, the attack was not meant to be, as another wild creature showed up. The bagon battled with ferocity and overpowered the much larger pokemon. Despite it being a baby, the dragon did have some strength behind it. Fran couldn't help feel a tinge of respect for the little thing.
With her temper dissipating, Fran could only shrug her shoulders at the young man and his pokemon. The two were quite the temperamental pair. That could really get them into trouble.
"Why don't you find me when your dumb arm is healed," she called. "I'd rather have you at your healthiest before I beat you into the ground, brat."
Perhaps it was her newfound respect for their potential strength, but Fran believed there was something more to this boy and his partner than their crude behaviors. They could be strong opponents, and if they were, she wanted them to face her as such. Fighting a battle-weary baby dragon and its broken trainer wouldn't sharpen her skills, though it might give her some satisfaction. Believing that they could put up a real fight held her back from knocking these two out.
Fran turned back around, placing a hand on her onix. He grumbled and began to move around toward the bridge to continue through the route. His trainer followed at his side. "Enjoy fuckin' off with your baby dragon, cripple," she spoke her parting words to the stranger. |

Failure. Its something that everyone and every pokemon goes through at least once in their life, and today was the first time for the young dragon. Her attempt of revenge was all for naught as the serpentine rock pokemon onix just battered her away during her attempt. As she skidded across the pebble beach of the river bank, weak; tired and angry. Not only in herself but at this entire situation, whilst she could not be completely angry, the sight of her trainer running towards her at relatively fast pace, put her at someone ease.
Ares, grabbing Lilith's pokeball to continue the seemingly endless encounter with such a woman, Khaerys snapped, she yapped at the sandy blonde to stop him. She did not want assistance, even if she needed it; she was a proud dragon, one that would love to see the enemy asking for mercy. She had to go on, she needed too. Gritting her teeth she push herself slowly to her feet, but the moment she got there she was immediately engulfed in a white blinding light, that once faded revealed an entire new entity. A shelgon. Despite the trial and tribulations of today, the young dragon had grown enough so that nature believe it was time for her to continue further into her evolution line.
With her new found strength in the form of Shelgon Khaerys wanted to test it out on something. Her confidence had been knocked thanks to fran and her onix but she still wanted to see what exactly she could do with the new sense of power flowing through her veins. The perfect opportunity had presented itself in the form of a wild ralts. Moving Khaerys realised something. She was significantly slower than before. Her current form was almost comparable to to Trunks' Super Sayain Grade 2. All mass and power with no speed. Khaerys felt immobile. Needless to say, she switched up her tactic from close to far, erupting a far more powerful flamethrower than before.
Wincing at the heat of the move, Ares actually felt sorry for the pokemon that had been the victim of such an attack, and as she stopped releasing the stream of water there was an actual sigh of relief that a barbecued carcass was not lying on the pebbles. Grabbing a free pokeball he threw said pokeball at the downed ralts on a whim of a capture.
Ares looked over in the direction of where he thought Fran was standing, but regardless of whether she was their or not, a simple middle finger followed by, "Fuck you." was present. There issue was not over, even if the original issue was something very trivial. Whatever direction fran was going in, he was going the opposite way. She had really killed his mood, but there was one thing he was thankful for from the impudent woman was the evolution of his bagon.
