There was just so very much to process.[break][break]
Leon had convinced himself on the way back, during the battling of a few wilds, that Cooper was just being friendly. Right? Because offering to take you to the ranch and make you dinner, also inviting you to shower, was completely friendly. It was! If Vannah had invited him to do the same thing he wouldn't think anything remotely romantic about it. Why? Because even though they were both pansexual, Vannah and Leon were friends. Sure, there were times when he had definitely been looking. Vannah was attractive and Leon liked to boost her confidence by checking her out. But... were they intimate? No. Well, they made out on occasion. But Vannah always started that and Leon was too selfish to deny the physical contact. Why? Because he damn well hadn't had any in too long.[break][break]
Oh, maybe that's what all this was. Maybe he just needed to go find somebody to fuck so he wouldn't think about Cooper that way.[break][break]
The contemplations all settled after he ate. He felt much better and had thanked Cooper for getting him the food. He'd about asked if Cooper was gonna eat, but then he'd disappeared into the bathroom to make awkward noises with the Flaffy. Once Leon was finished, he rinsed his bowl out, washed it, and started toward the bathroom. What he saw, however, brought heat to his cheeks so quickly somebody would have thought he'd gotten punched in the face.[break][break]
"Ah...ah...." Honestly, he'd gotten punched by the beautiful physique that was Cooper Armstrong. Who knew under all that cattle gear the man was sexy as hell?! Leon did, but he'd pretended that wasn't the case for some stupid reason.[break][break]
"S... um, sorry." He furrowed his brows and proceeded to strip himself. He felt so... so very awkward. Cooper was gorgeous and he was tiny, so very tiny, and feeling extremely insecure. Tall, thin, very pale Leon made his way into the bath and stared down at the Flaffy. He was ignoring anything arousing and willing his eyes not to look at Cooper's... everything.[break][break]
"Okay, so, I've only ever bathed an Eevee and a Zangoose..." Any Pokemon he had as a trainer bathed themselves. "Also, are we sure it's a good idea to be in the water with her ... um, electric cotton?"

"tub's big enough for all of us—especially since y'barely take up any space."[break][break] he pulled himself from the bath, water surging from his sore muscles as he pointed at a clogged comb.[break][break] "special comb. flaaffy knows when to take the spark away, but that does the trick with the excess static." cooper smirked. When Cooper got into the water, Leon tried really hard not to feel uncomfortable. The note on the Flaffy's wool? Leon knew that, but for some reason, he was looking for an out. Probably had nothing to do with how damn attractive Cooper was naked. Seriously, could somebody get him a box, please?[break][break]
"Uh, yeah, no, that makes sense." Oh and cue Leon taking a moment to try and remember how to function like a normal human being. As asked, he took the comb and handed it to Cooper like he'd been asked to do.[break][break]
With that finished, he lowered himself into the tub and allowed himself to appreciate the scent and warmth. "Is this why you smell so good?" He spoke absentmindedly, ignoring how the water barely even budged when Leon got into the tub. Not compared to when Cooper had gotten in. Although Leon's frame was six feet and one inch tall, there was barely any muscle mass. More now than when he was in Kalos because of his job on the Horned Ranch, but still. Leon's frame wasn't nearly as large or beautiful as Cooper's and he wasn't ashamed to admit that.[break][break]
Suddenly, Cooper's words caught Leon's ears and he looked up to study the fellow Breeder's face. "T...teach me a few things??" Leon could help how he got even more red, moving his hands to wade the water so nothing could be seen just in case. Because honestly, he'd looked, who wouldn't? And uh, and Cooper was definitely bigger than him...

D-Darlin. Darlin. Leon would be lying to himself if he ever told anybody he didn't enjoy being called darlin' in the way Cooper said it at that moment.[break][break]
This was all so backward for him. Wasn't he supposed to be the guy who just fucked it and left? That's what he'd always been, but here Cooper was, damn near but not flirting with him. It was enough to drive Leon up a wall. Or maybe, just maybe, Cooper was flirting. Leon wouldn't know. The only time he flirted with anybody was to be friendly and then it always ended up as sex a few times and then they were friends with benefits.[break][break]

His head was starting to spin. He couldn't really grasp any solid thought and decided instead to just react to Cooper on a base instinct. Mostly frantic nods and small hums of approval.[break][break]
"Are you sure they say that, though?" Leon was going to try and treat this like every other friendship from this point forward. Why? Because Cooper deserved that. Leon was going to tell himself he wasn't good enough for Cooper and just chill the fuck out. Damned emotions. So, a sassy witty comment mixed with him leaning back a bit more confidently against the tub and spreading his legs out.[break][break]
Did his feet end up grazing Cooper's calves? Absolutely. Was Leon going to stop his feet from relaxing against the other man? Absolutely not. Was he panicking inside? Totally. Was he blushing?[break][break]

The way Cooper moved his hair out of his face had Leon staring. It was completely different than what Leon was used to seeing. Maybe this is what Cooper looked like when he was trying to be impressive. Oh god, was he trying to be impressive? Huh...

Leon switched places with the Flaffy, back toward Cooper, hands on the Flaffy's wool, slender fingers barely finding a grip. Was he thinking about how this would look to anybody else? Of course, he was. But the difference was, he was starting to not care. In a way, maybe he'd enjoy these private moments and simply not tell another soul, so he wouldn't have to feel embarrassed.[break][break]
"You have to know what this looks like," Leon admitted as he relaxed his shoulders while massaging the Flaffy, who let out a happy bleat in return for the treatment. "The, uh, massage train, thing." Had Leon giving a smile, despite his sassy comments at Cooper.[break][break]

Hearing those words had his fingers pausing on the wool in front of him. Slowly Leon blinked, then his brain malfunctioned, and then it rebooted. All within about five seconds.[break][break]
Once it had booted back up, Leon slowly turned within Cooper's hold with furrowed brows, a blush, and a whole lot of excuse me but what the fuck held in his expression.[break][break]
"Alright listen here," he turned to give the Flaffy a quick kiss to her ear. "I'm sorry Daisy."[break][break]
He turned to face Cooper fully then, pointing a finger at him. "You're making me like you." He informed Cooper flatly. "I'm just a little confused simply because... well, you're giving me all these other mixed signals, and I'm not completely sure where I should stand with this. Should I toss my budding emotions for you to the side or should I keep ahold of them?"[break][break]
