Your Host and Gym Leader: The native son of Kogane, Roy Case has been a fixture of the community for as long as he's been able to walk. His community outreach has supported the citizens of the region's most beautiful city. With his dedicated teem of C.C. Volunteers, the city has become a much livelier and brighter place for everyone.

In some senses, that's very literal, ever since the tragic collapse of Madatsubomi Tower, Roy and his C.C. Volunteers have worked tirelessly to bring power back to the more dilapidated districts of the city. Their grand re-opening of Kogane's gym is just the latest effort to that end. As you battle, remember that you're fighting against a true saint![break][break]

The Gym: Three floors high, surrounded by stands of spectators and populated with game show props, your battlefield is bright and glitzy. Note that cameras and microphones will be broadcasting the battles across the region. One fight here could very well be your big break!

To make a challenge towards the gym, all that's required is a little, itsy bitsy contribution to Kogane Gym. On the first post of your gym challenge, you should include a box of info that details an electric pokémon you're willing to permanently donate to Roy Case and his C.C. Volunteers. That pokémon will then be gifted to Roy, and your challenge will start shortly thereafter. If you don't have an electric pokémon to give, then Roy himself will take you on a Duo Wild to catch one.[break][break]

The Mechanics: The Kogane Gym loves to have fun! To that end, we employ a variety of Tolls and friendly Cheats that you can work towards your advantage. Each one will have a price, and all that cash will be collected at the end of your gym challenge. If you can't pay up at the end of the fight... well let's just cross that bridge when we get there! We've got no doubt you'll be able to broker a deal with our friendly C.C. Volunteers.

Tolls:
Using an Item: 1,000 poké (Each subsequent Item use will cost an additional 1,000 poké. This doesn't apply to held items.)

Swapping Pokémon: 300 poké (This includes recalling fainted partners)
[break]
Held Items: 1,000 poké (This will be charged towards each item held by a pokémon)
[break]
Changing the Battle Format from 2v2: 4,000 poké(Each trainer will still only be allowed three pokémon)

Two Trainers, One Leader: 4,000 poké (Each trainer will be allowed two pokémon total. The format will still be double battles.)

Cheats:
Selective Opponent: 4,500 poké (A challenger may select which of our leader's six pokémon will fight. This price is doubled for two selections, and tripled for three)

Reinforcements: 7,000 poké (A challenger may use four pokémon instead of three.)

Numbers Game: 8,000 poké (Allows the challenger to use more pokémon at once. If the format is Doubles, this lets a Challenger send out three pokémon at once.)

Weather Forecast: 7,000 poké (Allows the challenger to use the gym's artificial weather system, creating a weather condition for as long as they'd like.)

Scouting Report: 1,250 poké (Gives the challenger a detailed report about each of our leader's pokémon)

Battle Format: Double Battles are the way of fighting in the Kogane Gym. You're only allowed to use three pokémon throughout the duration of the fight, just as Roy is. [break][break]
