Leon made his way through the Safari yet again but this time with Knight the Pawniard at his side. Knight was his newest addition to his team. Well, Iggy and Mars were new as well, but he'd just gotten Knight. Though, speaking of, Knight had been a bit bummed that he'd forgotten something at the Safari. Though Leon didn't know that until he did a bit of research on the poor guy.[break][break]
See, Leon had noticed that Knight was going from rock to rock around the ranch and trying to sharpen his blades. None of them had been the right rock. So, upon further investigation, Leon had done a bit of research and figured out that the poor thing had left his sharpening rock in the Safari. So here they were, trying to find and get the rock so that Knight wouldn't be so glum back home.[break][break]
Now, whether they would find it with or without running into any other Pokemon or not was beyond him. And honestly? Leon wouldn't be upset if they ran into something super cute on their way. He was a sucker for super cute, honestly...[break][break]

As they explored from rock to rock suddenly there was a lot of COTTON SPOREs being released into the air. Leon immediately leaned back to look around at the sky. The direction the cotton spores had come from, and then he could see it. The Cottonee flying through the air. With a laugh, Leon moved over to sit beside Pawniard who was still searching for his sharpening stone. They'd narrowed it down to this spot, at least.[break][break]
Knight was puffing and nipping at the cotton spores. With a huff, he turned to glare back at the cute little thing of fluff. Knight looked then to Leon, who clearly seemed to be amused by the Cottonee. there was a certain sparkle in his pastel trainer's eyes. Oh, he liked these Fairy types, didn't he? Knight turned toward the Cottonee that would be able to lay much of a hand on him and shrugged. Why not, right?[break][break]
Leon looked down at Knight nudged him with a blunt part of his body, his elbow it looked like, and then the small dual type pointed at the floating dual type that had just landed and started to nibble on something she'd found on the ground.[break][break]
"Really?" Leon excitedly stood and grinned. "I'd like one, yes. Who wouldn't? And she's a cutie." Leon admitted with a laugh.[break][break]
Seeing that his pastel boy wanted the wild Pokemon, Knight started off toward the fluffy thing. He faded into the shadows and then appeared close to the Cottonee with a FEINT ATTACK. Once the Cottonee was hit, she let out a squeal of sorts and turned to bat her pretty little eyelashes at the Pawniard, hoping to CHARM him. While it did catch the dual type off guard, he LEERed at her in return. Her little eyes slanted in anger and the Cottonee's leaves started to glow and a rush of sparkling pink FAIRY WIND gusted toward Pawniard. He easily brushed it off, blade glowing as he SCRATCHed the Cottonee.[break][break]
With a roll backward, the Cottonee looked up and started a small plea. Leon moved forward, tossing a Safariball as the Cottonee tried to work her CHARM. With a sigh, he bent down and gave Pawniard a pat to the safe part of his bod, a part of it that Leon wouldn't be cut by. "Thanks Knight."[break][break]
With a nod, Knight moved back over to the stones before picking one up and handing it to Leon. Leon smiled and bent down, putting the rock into his backpack and grunting. "Oh- Oh my." Leon laughed as he loaded the stone into his backpack. "I don't think I realized how heavy this was going to be..." He groaned and picked the backpack up, smiling down at Knight. "Up to you from here on out."[break][break]

With a delighted squeal, Leon made his way over to the Pokeball in hurried glee. Seemed as if the weight of the backpack he had just complained about didn't much matter in the excitement of having caught the fairy type. He gave the ball a kiss before looking to Knight and grinning. "We're the coolest, look at this cute little thing!!"[break][break]
Knight's Pastel Boy seemed very happy and Knight supposed he couldn't complain. His whole point was to make Leon happy, to repay him for Taft's victory. Had he known he would actually come to appreciate the trainer and the team - Auz aside, the damned clown - he would have warned himself against coming along. Because look at this lot. So happy, so excited, over a pink spewing puffball.[break][break]
After a small victory dance and watching the ball disappear into his PC - ah, technology - Leon moved over to Knight and gave the Pawniard a kiss to the side of his head, a part of him that wasn't sharp enough to slice Leon's lips open. "You're a star." He informed the dual type before making his way toward the entrance. "Let's go get this thing into the apartment, hm? Maybe... just outside?" Leon shrugged his shoulders. "I dunno, you can pick where to put it. I'll put a matt down for the little grains that might fall while you sharpen. Oh, but you've got to have water too, don't you?" Leon contemplated before suddenly a POISON STING hit his foot.[break][break]
"Son of a bitch!!" Leon shouted, immediately curling down and gripping his foot to look. "Right through my new chucks!!"[break][break]
Knight was on the move, immediately using a FURY CUTTER on the patch of grass that caused the issue, watching as a little Weedle was taken aback by the attack. She retaliated with a STRING SHOT, but Knight simply used another FURY CUTTER to make the string go away. Her panic was clear and she moved into BUG BITE his frame. The amount of pain caused by the nibbles didn't even cause Knight to flinch. He used FURY CUTTER, watching as the Weedle reeled away and spat another POISON STING toward them. Quickly, Knight used FURY CUTTER once again to swipe the needles and hit his target. She recoiled and decided whatever she was after wasn't worth the battle, retreating into the Safari.[break][break]
Leon had just gotten the last needle out of his foot, using one of his FULL HEALs to make sure there was no infection before placing a band-aid over the wounded area. "Thanks again." Leon huffed before smiling at how Pawniard had come over to inspect the wound as well. Leon's smile was soft, tender, and warm. "Thanks, really. I'm alright."[break][break]
