"The Lake of Rage, a beautiful blue lake right next to Choji Town." Steven was mumbling to himself as he wandered around the edge of the lake. He was out here figuring out how he wanted to do the documentary for a place that was always so beautiful, so serene. It seemed that even the Pokemon in the area at the current time were quite passive. It was almost too perfect of a day for him to be out here doing this documentary, but here he was and there was no reason to make a track back home. That required him to stop for sleep and eat a couple meals while also requiring him to come back eventually do to this documentary. It was now or never, and he wanted to get this done.
The man would get to the treeline and look down the line of the mazelike trees as they met the edge of the lake. "The trees here, mazelike and easy to get lost in, are said to be easier to find your way out of once night falls. The blue glow from the lake in the moonlight makes it easier to find your way out and back to safety, but be wary of any wild pokemon that come out at night as well." He would continue mumbling before looking out into the deep blue of the lake. He was tempted to bust out his fishing pole and throw it in to see what he could hook. Maybe he would come back, later on, to do that some other time. Just a silent day with just him and his rod. Right now, he had a job to do. Steven would take his glasses off to wipe them down with a rag, cleaning them so he could see that much easier, before placing them back where they comfortably rest. It was time to get started.

[nospaces] [attr="class","biggie"] [attr="class","textie"] It felt like a summer family get away for Isabella to be up at the Lake of Rage. Despite it's name, the lake was only raging in a sense that was a serene natural peace that it had given off. She'd heard tales of a long time ago about why the lake was named the way it was, however she was more set on the idea that she was here to relax with her Pokemon for a day and maybe relax with some fishing. As a child, she could remember fishing out Magikarp and having to put them back in... except for one. There had been one incident she could remember back a few years when a rather angered Magikarp was fished up... and boy he didn't like that at all. She could remember being tackled and knocked into the lake. At that time, she had no idea how to swim either, but to her luck, some of the other Pokemon inhabiting the lake had given her a bit of a float until she could be helped out of the water by her mother. The Magikarp... well, her mother's Pokemon didn't take a liking to it and when she managed to ask about it, it had been knocked out and given to a small fisherman in training. Every year since, the blonde had a hope that she could get a chance to do something for them, though maybe removing that Magikarp then was a thanks enough.[break][break]
While left to their own accord, the trio of Pokemon in Sakura's care had wandered about the lake doing their own thing, keeping to the idea that they had to keep close. In a tree nearby, she could see that her Teddiursa had just found himself honey as the crescent on his head began to glow. Her Cherubi laid out in the sun, literally. She took in the light in joy and lastly, her trouble making, skirt hating Sorunt was seated beside her, hiding from the head underneath her parasol that was rigged to stand on its own while she fished. The Snorunt watched the line being cast out into the water, looking down at the shivering little Pokemon. "Are you ok?" She asked, looking away for a moment toward the small ice pokemon before it nodded. "So you just naturally always shake, huh?" Asking her for a little bit of assurance and to pass the time, the Snorunt nodded and looked off to the other two happily doing their own thing. "You want to go somewhere a little colder next time?" Another simple question, followed by what Isabella could only think to have been a shrug or maybe a nod. "Well, if you'd like to go back into your pokeball and cool off, just tug my clothes, ok?" With a confirming cry of its name, the two sat back and relaxed while the rod sat in the water, waiting for a potential bite. Before he could actually hit the record button, before he could really start his documentary that the entire world would be able to watch once he was completed with the editing of it, Steven Willows needed to go back to the main way to get to the Lake of Rage so that he could get the best angle of the place that he could. It was with that in mind that he would begin to make his way to that exact location, though it seemed that during his pre-documentary walk there was now another person here at the lake. Not wanting to surprise them, by any means, the man would announce himself before getting too close.
"Hello! My name is Steven Willows, a professor here in the Johto Region. I am about to do a documentary here, which will be recorded, so if you don't want to be on the tape or video please let me know. You can stay and be in it, or stay and I can record you out. You could even leave, I know a picnicking couple huffed off in a hurry because they did not want to be recorded nor tell a professor no to doing something positive. Either way, it is a pleasure to meet you." The Pokemon Professor had no reason to lie to another person in the area, let alone one that had so clearly befriended some Pokemon and seemed to be out here to enjoy a little bit of fishing. Once he got an answer from her it would be time to hit the record button. Hopefully this person was not aggressive or anything, they seemed nice after all, as he really preferred not to harm others if he could help it. Aggressive Pokemon in the wild was self-defense and using other Pokemon made it similar to the natural order in life. But fighting off another person? He would prefer to avoid that completely.

[nospaces] [attr="class","biggie"] [attr="class","textie"]The fishing line was coming up empty and it was frankly unnerving really. Most people would come up on the annoyed side from sitting and having nothing biting on their line and coming after it. But there was a little pleasing feeling in having nothing come up. For her, it was a nice, relaxing feel that only getting a catch could be anything less than a benefit rather than a hindrance or a bother. Though, a small sudden snoring made her look away from her fishing line and the glistening top of the water. As she looked down, Isabella could feel something falling against her side. There laid her Snorunt, having fallen fast asleep probably from the quiet all around them. it was kind of nice watching her sleep since it kept her from blowing power snow up her skirts whenever she wore them... With one free hand, she lightly began to pet the Snorunt lightly.[break][break]
Despite a sudden calling out to her, the small blonde girl jumped a bit before she'd look over to the direction of the sudden voice. As he started to speak, Teddy, whom was up in a tree still not far away stopped his honey suckling to look on as someone had approached his trainer and he began to feel a little uneasy about it. Though, while this stranger explained to her about what he was planning to do, it made Isabella blush up and found it a little harder to think of a proper response. "I-I-I-I u-umm.. I-I suppose so. I-I was just doing some f-fishing right now though. Maybe fish out a pretty Pokemon for my contests." Trying to hold onto her composure, the coordinator took in a moderate sized breath and exhaled. "I-I just hope it's not a um.. problem that I'm a-a little camera shy..." She looked away, her shaded face still showing a light bit of a flushed color on her cheeks. Even though he had given the girl plenty of space, even though he had given her plenty of options for her to choose from for the current situation they were in, even though there was no reason to be scared she was still stuttering pretty badly like he was going to harm her or something. The girl mentioned that she was just fishing and hoping for the possibility of a pretty Pokemon being fished up so she could use it for her contests. So this female was a coordinator? Her speech pattern and nervousness probably were not a boon for that, unless she was better at focusing in those contests than in the real world. She was also camera shy, which made no sense at all whatsoever. Ah well, at least he would still be able to do his documentary after all. "All right miss, it's not a big deal. I'll try not to make you too uncomfortable or anything. You are free to do whatever you want, I'm just here for the local wildlife and the area itself." The man would offer a bit more words before he reached up to scratch his nose as he looked over the blue lake and saw the bubbles and some movement near the surface of the water.
"Seems we have something going on in the water. Maybe some Pokemon in a territorial dispute. Might be a good time to do some training as well. Come on out, Tac!" Steven would send out his Meowth, Tac, who would meow loudly as he pointed at the beautiful water that was now being disturbed. "Fresh fish for the good Kitty." The comment would be made in jest as he did a hand motion to insinuate it was time to fight, which was what Meowth prepared to do.
