[attr="class","technoscroll"]Fueled by granola bars and soda pop, Noelani, often introduced as Professor Palm, is a sleepy-eyed university student hailing from the far off shores of the Alola Region. Despite her resting expression of sheer disinterest, she is a curious individual and aspiring professor with an interest in the studies of environmental effects on the typing and evolution of pokémon.

Late nights & early mornings are often spent holed up tapping away at her laptop in 24 hour restaurants and coffee shops, sunlight hours whittled away with day-long excursions leading her into the very depths of Johto's wilds.

Her spoiled Persian, Kitten, is known to cause trouble for other trainers, often stealing important items or tormenting even the largest of their pokémon. As gentle and carefree as the breeze her home region is known for, her easy going nature often spares the pair of any real trouble.

More of an introvert than a particularly outgoing individual, the self-proclaimed professor finds friends few and far between - though its namely due to her quiet nature.

She is most drawn to those with scientific interests, but also finds herself curious of trainers that have a positive relationship with their pokemon. A pokémon Lover herself, she often has an easier time of establishing friendships with pokémon than she does with people.

Aside from science and pokémon, Palm enjoys hiking to take in the beauty of the natural world and the occasional drink.

Though romance isn't entirely foreign to the aspiring professor, she currently places it as a low priority in her life.

Receptive to positive attention and, on the rare occasion, attracted to those of high intellect, she might enjoy a date now and then provided there are no strings attached - but anything further than that would be seen as interfering with her current goals. Suitors are welcome to try and win her heart should they feel a spark, and while her seclusive nature may prove to make the genuine relationship an ongoing battle, she's prone to fidgeting and blushing fits that only spur the chase.

Not one to make enemies herself, Palm is more likely to have irritated someone else than they are to have irritated her. Her nonchalant attitude and carefree way of life can be grating to some - often made worse by the rotten behavior of her instigating kitten.

On the rare occasion she does harbor a disliking for someone she tends to respond much like a child - all pouts, silent treatments, and "go away"s.

If you're looking for specifics, I'd be interested in finding a few study buddies to adventure with. She is also currently in search of a real professor to take her on as an aide. Another hook, her constant beach attire might inspire positive, negative, or genuinely concerned reactions from anyone to cross paths with her. Where Virus agents are concerned she may seem slow, but she's a very intelligent individual. Did she catch your character in the act, becoming a liability?
