Going straight from the forced seclusion of living on an island to the emotional seclusion of living somewhere new, Faylinn has never had much chance to practice the art of conversation and the nuance of socializing. As a result most friendships are incidental: people who take interest in her, strangers she hits it off with, or simply people she shares a space with for an extended period of time. At this point in her life the last category is perhaps most notable as it encompasses her allies in Team Virus. [break][break] Faylinn is forever in pursuit of new experiences. Fresh battles, weird pokemon, and above all else interesting people who can lead her to more, unforeseen adventure. If someone can promise her a rare find, a strange sight, or a good time she'll tag along just for the promise of a good thrill. These kinds of relationships can often become friendships if for no other reason than convenience. The more in touch she is with exciting people the more likely it is they'll show her more exciting things.[break][break] While she's a member of Team Virus she isn't an ideologue. Her understanding of the Team's cause and goals is fairly basic and her investment in both is shallow. She fights for her friends and allies, not for their ideas. People who oppose the team are likely to make her wary, but unless she (or another team member nearby) is antagonized she won't take disagreement as a boundary to engagement or friendship. [/PTab={background-color:transparent;color:#ffffff;padding:0px!important;margin:-3px;text-align:justify;}] [PTab= [attr="class","spstab"]ENEMIES ][attr="class","sps2"] [attr="class","spsblurb"] Making honest, cut-throat enemies is rare for Faylinn and I imagine the only true examples of this will be people wholly opposed to Team Virus who learn of her involvement with the group. Holding grudges in any vindictive fashion is uncommon for Faylinn and in most cases the most severe animosity she can muster for another person is on the level of a pitted rival. Someone she wants to overcome to prove something. Whether that be her competence or rightness.[break][break] This is mostly because Faylinn is competitive but rarely malicious. Challenges are things to be overcome, people included. Someone who doesn't like her isn't someone she needs to dislike back, they're a person she needs to win over. Someone who looks down on her isn't someone to hate, but someone to prove herself to. Even people who hate Team Virus aren't necessarily people she wants to bitterly fight -- her allegiance to the team is strong on account of her loyalty to the people within it, not the brand. If anything their hate for the group means she should -- in whatever way possible -- prove to them that it's one worth crusading for.[break][break] The only people likely to truly become enemies are people who wrong her in severe ways. Betraying her trust, hurting people close to her (or her pokemon), and other actions of this like wound her deeper than others and she struggles to let go of the frustration related to them. Even here, though, she would rather try and make peace than pursue a hostile relationship. She still has a child's optimism that any enemy can be made an ally with enough work and dedication.
