[attr="class","textie"] Isabella had slowly begun to overwork herself. Beyond the need for bed rest and medication, she wanted none of that. She was starting to grow guiltier by the day doing this to her own Pokemon that it felt cruel. For the last couple of weeks, she'd been living in a fear beyond anything she'd ever felt before and it was time to stop running from it. She had to meet Raziel in this area, so she wanted to get the fear of her own Pokemon out of her system before they met. If she could do that.. she could possibly grow to be a stronger person. It wasn't much time that she had taken to get from her home to the tower, known to house pokemon there. However, this was her plan as well. She needed to do this in this place and for a very special reason. It mattered not about her own physical health anymore, but for her Pokemon's well being-- For Teddy.[break][break]
What most people had never learned about the way these two had met was during the Great Migration. When everything seemed to shift about unexpectedly, the girl had wandered in there one evening after she'd heard cries coming from it. Normally, nothing had made a sound from within the walls, but she had to go in and find out. With no Pokemon, no supervision, no warning, the girl had rushed inside to find a lone Pokemon huddled up in the center. Surrounding him were Ghastly and Zubats, circling about and tormenting him. Without a second thought, Isabella rushed into the building and attempted to scare them away. Unfortunately, they saw through her false bravado and began to do the same to her as well. The girl picked up the lost, frightened pokemon and in one quick dash, she shot out of the building carrying this Pokemon in her arms until she was clear of the place and without a tail of Pokemon wanting to chase her down. "Hey there. It's ok, you don't have to be afraid anymore." She spoke sweetly and quietly, wanting to show that she meant no harm at all. As it looked up, the tears welled in its eyes, she only gave him a bright smile. "That's right, there's no need to cry." The bear sniffled and nodded slowly, working up its own courage to smile. "Right on! See? You are so much cuter when you smile!" Cheering up the cub was easy, as it quickly began smile wider. "My name is Isabella. What about you, handsome?" She looked on, petting him and wiping the few tears from his fur. It gave a cry of its full name and Isabella thought for only a moment before it clicked to her. "So, how'd you like to come to my house? Mother makes some really good food and it'll surely be safer than that place! What do you say, Teddy?" She laid out the nickname, seeing how he would react to it. With two paws raised out and a cheerful cry, Isabella hugged him while giggling herself. "Alright then! I'll make sure to always protect you, Teddy!"[break][break]
It felt like a lie now. She failed him the very first time that she had stepped out of Enju on her own to battle and get stronger with him. From there it all seemed to just snowball into a more and more unstable kind of protection that she could have prevented, but the guilt had only continued to compile and she had thought this aggressive behavior had just been his anger towards her. Whether she was right or not had yet to be decided on, however. Taking in a deep breath of air, Isabella had exhaled and taken out her Pokeball she always kept aside. "Here goes nothing..." She prepared herself, tossing the Pokeball before the light would shine, bring Teddy out with a loud noise; a yawn. Had... he been sleeping this whole time she had been afraid of him and scared to use him in battle? She took a step back, her eyes trained away for a moment. "H-Hey Teddy... I.." She peeked up, seeing him extremely calm, looking toward his trainer. "Can.. we talk?" She asked, looking up and trying to keep her eyes locked on him. The now larger bear Pokemon sat down on the ground, nodding and only sat in silence. Another sudden Pokemon had popped out from her bag, the Mawile giving a loud, cheerful cry of his name and stretching out. "O-Oh.. S-Sango, I didn't expect you to come out so soon. Can.. it wait a moment please?" Her tone was rather calm and neutral compared to her normal extroverted way she spoke. The way it came off had struck the Mawile immediately as a serious manner and he nodded stepping away from the two while playing lookout for the two. [break][break]
