The first pokemon to grace the researcher's presence was a squirrel pokemon that seemed to have a talent for causing problems. It was about an hour and a half into his excursion as the man typed up a few graphs that the electric pokemon had begun to dig in his big scurrying in from a tree attempting to steal some fruits the man had saved for later. Upon realization that the pokemon was being watch the small thief became agressive thus beginning the first pokemon battle of the day. Thankfully Scyther or Nero as he'd been named was more than ready for a battle. One of the trainers newly added team members would be called forward the blade pokemon focusing on its small enemy scoffing at the squirrel pokemon before falling into a fighting stance.

The bug type was cocky, but Azad would still offer warning to his new ally. "Stay vigilant you don't do well with electricity." The scyther would simply grunt before shining its scythe's in the enemies eyes blinding the pachirisu before officially beginning the battle with his trainer's order. "Double Team" By the time the electric regained any semblance of sight it was surrounded by tens of after images of the blade pokemon. But the rodent was clever unleashing a swift attack to hone in on the real Scyther only causing the the green bug pokemon to anger.

In response to the aggression Azad would order the pokemon on the offensive, "X-Scissor." And in moments the blade pokemon was atop the squirrel two intense glowing blades would find themselves connecting with the squirrel pokemon sending it back into a tree. The squirrel in response to the heavy hit would use charm in attempt to lower the scyther's attack but it simply wasn't enough as Azad ordered the strike once more this second X-scissor landing a critical hit and promptly knocking the enemy pokemon out.

The next pokemon to appear for the researcher's census was initially mistaken for an item it was only when the pokemon attempted to slam into the silver haired trainer that the item was actually an adversary. As if waiting for the creature to show itself as a thread the once napping nero would slide to the forefront defending the researcher from any future attacks. "Ah, seems like your assistance is necessary." He'd compose himself quickly folding his arms watching the smaller enemy now. having assumed his what was now his typical battle stance the battle would begin.

"X-scissor." The man was of the mind battles like this were best finished quickly begin strong while the enemy was off guard and take them down faster. Some would call it impatient Azad believed it was simply prioritizing. The pokemon's sicles would glow with a certain sheen growing in length before the bug pokemon would leap forward slamming them against the orb pokemon sending the electric type careening back. The voltorb while it'd taken a more than fair amount of damage from the attack wouldn't give up just yet firing a sonicboom through the tall grass and directly into Nero's carapace.

The bug pokemon simply growled in anger waiting for the trainer's next order. Azad had't expected such a clever counter attack and so he'd play the game a tad more carefully now. "Double Team, watch for its next attack the enemy is hasty." The bug pokemon simply nodded brandishing it's blades before dashing around quickly enough to create a variety of after images. Just as they appeared another sonic boom would fly hitting one of the seven mirages revealing the electric pokemon's location. With that revealed the battle was over. The pokemon honed in on it's enemy and with a final command from the trainer "X-scissor." the orb pokemon was knocked unconcious.

The final pokemon to appear was a violent one. What exactly got the electric type so upset Azad had no idea but it's rampage wasn't only dangerous to the researcher's work, but dangerous to any pokemon in the environment. If only to deal with the precarious situation Azad would call a different pokemon forward, Scyther having battled twice already today wouldn't be suited to deal with something the dark-skinned trainer wouldn't hesitate to call a threat.

No this called for a true combatant, and so the man would call forth his tried and true original partner. Aros would appear from their pokeball it's shiny steel coat gleaming in the evening sun, harsh red eyes honing in on his newest opponent. It'd been a minute since the golem had found an opponent worthy of flexing it's hardened muscles for, but upon its analysis of the pokemon the steel type was sure they'd find a good fight out of the battle.

Azad after preforming a quick scan of the electric type would order the first technique as the electric pokemon circled the enemy choosing when to attack. "We'll play this defensive. Iron Defense." the trainer's gaze was focused on the Manetric it's body less tense now having found a new combatant all the while Metang simply waited in the center.

The electric pokemon was fast in seconds the dog pokemon would pounce its jaws clenching down on the hardened skin dealing a fair amount of damage to the psychic type despite the defense boost. Still it was what the trainer was waiting on. "Psychic now."and so a blue light would surround the manetric before the pokemon was flung into a nearby tree.

Still the Manetric wasn't done pulling it's body up the thrill of battle almost palpable in the trainer's eyes. Azad wouldn't allow the electric type a second wind, "Follow it up with a meteor mash." The Metang would tighten its body flying like a jet preparing one of it's massive claws slamming it into the electric pokemon causing a more than solid yelp from the pokemon. Even then the electric wouldn't give up immediately launching into its own counter attack charging its body with electricity. The pokemon's thunderwave completely paralyzing the steel pokemon leaving the golem stunned.

With the Metang unable to move the Manetric would follow up with a bite attack dealing another fair amount of damage to the psychic pokemon, even causing the steel pokemon to groan dully. "Finish it with psychic." Knowing his teammate couldn't take too many more super effective moves Azad decided to end the match now dashing forward himself as the Steel type slammed the pokemon twice over with it's psychic abilities. When the pokemon was finally let down a pokeball would fly slapping it in the head absorbing the electric type.
