[googlefont=Roboto Condensed] [Poochy 2 was probably the least motivated out of his Pokemon. If anything, once either his Electrike or his other Poochyena was out of the picture, he turns into this little puppy that always seems wait for his trainer to do something before acting on his own too. It wasn't as outgoing or independent as the other two, which got Kyle to worry about how it was like in the wild before. On one hand, it was as annoying as dealing with the other two dogs. Painful as it was, it was difficult to find any use for him on an objective point of view. He lacks bravado and the energy that the other two has. On the other hand, at least it was docile enough that he could leave it alone and still expect him not to break anything. It was good for a pet, but Kyle didn't need pets, or at least, at the moment. At least it made a good companion for midnight walks. Yawning as he eventually made his way out of the city and to the neighboring route, Kyle found himself strolling straight out of the safety of the city and into the wilderness. It wasn't too late, but the sun was already out and the only thing illuminating the skies besides the nearby city lights were the stars. Tailing behind him was his Poochyena, trotting in a rather upbeat pace as he matched his trainer's longer strides. He'd left the rest of his Pokemon back on his lodging, bringing only one or two others on his person. Eyes were groggy as he begrudgingly trudged along. He was thankful that most of his Pokemon were all asleep now, besides Poochy 2, who was surprisingly still up. Not wanting to risk him waking up the rest of his team, he supposed that he could tire the Poochyena out before heading back. MADE BY NOVA |

She only had the one with her at the moment, and she was determined to help him get as strong as he could be. Though Aria was looking for more Pokemon to add to her team, Mareep seemed to enjoy the thrill of battle. Still, she wasn't very experienced herself and wasn't entirely confident in her battling abilities. She knew what Mareep was capable of, and his static ability would help in combat, but hadn't had a lot of practical experience. When she noticed another trainer, then, it brought a smile to her face. "Heyyy!" she called from a distance, a hand near her mouth to help carry her voice and the other in the air, waving childishly. She took off in a sprint towards him, a boy right around her height. She could see a small pokemon by his side. The little guy was covered in dark greys. A field pokemon? He was kind of hard to see in the dark, but maybe that was the point. Different pokemon showed up at different times, and though it was late, it was the perfect chance for Aria to get some experience. And with a boy with her? And Mareep? She'd be fine. "You're about my age," she started, noticing the height difference. She was taller than him, but just barely. "Can I come with you?" she asked, making a mental note that neither pokemon hunting nor pokemon training fit exactly what she had in mind for tonight. [googlefont=Roboto Condensed] "Huh?!"He released an annoyed grunt that matched well with his expression, though it quickly softened up as soon as he realized that if he was to be dealing with people, he shouldn't be looking bothered by their existence. It wasn't like she was doing anything wrong too. Seeing her try to catch up with him, Kyle turned to face her and waited until she reached him. Kyle was rather taken by surprise with her first statement, before his brows furrowed in an annoyance that was finally justified. He wasn't sure if those words actually held the truth, but people don't usually mention that without another thing in mind. "What's that supposed to mean?!" He exhaled a heavy breath, trying to calm himself down, before adding in. "What does my age have to do with coming with me?"He stared for a while, before sighing eventually. "Guess it's fine." His Poochyena gave a nod before retreating back to his trainer's legs. Yawning, he turned back once again and continued his walk, finally bringing out a flashlight from his back pocket to light the way. "Just one question though. You're not gonna try mugging me in the dark, right?"His flashlight eventually managed to put a wild Caterpie into spotlight. They weren't usually aggressive, and since Kyle would rather finish the walk with his Poochyena quickly, he'd rather avoid it entirely. His intentions were suddenly disregarded as he heard a sharp bark from behind him, flashing his light where his Poochyena had directed his sights. Without wasting any moment, he quickly uttered one decisive command. "Tackle."Behind him was a Spinarak, silently dangling on a string of web with a clear intent to fire off a poison sting at one of them. Poochy 2 throwing himself at the bug threw the projectile's course off of its original path, as well as bringing the Spinarak to the ground. As his attention was at something else, the Caterpie took the moment to charge at the Dark-type from behind, forcing the Poochyena to release a yelp before growling at its assailants. "You got a Pokemon or something?" he asked the girl, eyes still on the fighting that happened. "Poochy 2 isn't strong, so yeah, can you help me with the Spinarak?" He could recognize the strength of the Poison-type when it did not seem to get too phased with his Pokemon's previous attack. The Caterpie was harmless for the most part, and the Spinarak made itself the only threat out of the two with its potentially attacks laced with poison. MADE BY NOVA |

It was actually kind of nice being the taller one for once. Someone that was right around her height, maybe he'd be a great friend? She swore she detected some annoyance in his voice, and that was further concluded when he asked her what his age had to do with it. Did she say something wrong? "You're not gonna try mugging me in the dark, right?" he asked. Aria gave it a little thought and smiled some, what a ridiculous idea. She was only a little girl. "I'm not going to mug you," she said matter-of-factly. Then she said "I don't have a bag or ski mask." It was a half-joke. Half because it was true, she did not have those things. Her attention was stolen by the Caterpie and then the dark pokemon's low growl. Two pokemon at once? I'm glad he let me tag along,' she allowed herself to think before reaching for Mareep's pokeball. She clicked the main button, felt the ball enlarge in her hand, and then gave it a toss towards the spider pokemon. The Caterpie she recognized, and Caterpie weren't very strong. The spider, she assumed, would be equally as weak, then? But then the boy asked for help with it, specifically. So that's what she'd do. "Mareep, use Thunder Wave!" The wool pokemon leaped from it's small red chamber and landed with force, its gaze directed forward. It let out a small battle cry as electricity filled the air between him and the Spinarak. Aria saw the attack land and then small sparks come from the Pokemon. It worked! "Now, tackle!" she called, following the boy's lead. Before he could do so, Caterpie let out a String Shot towards Mareep. Mareep charged towards the spider pokemon a bit slower than usual and then knocked it away forcefully. [googlefont=Roboto Condensed] The Spinarak, getting hit by a one-two combination from both the Poochyena and the Mareep tried to get back on its legs. Its motor actions were starting to weaken thanks to paralysis, although it still remained strong enough to go back in the offensive. Its level was a bit more than the two opposing Pokemon, after all, and it would take more than that to take it down. It looked at the Poochyena as its target. It was the weaker one of the two after all, and had already been tagged by its friend Caterpie with an attack. The Caterpie couldn't do anything to stop them from attacking the Spinarak anyways, and it was clear that the String Spit Pokemon was going to be the recipient of their attacks until it goes down. Forcing its body to move under the effects of paralysis, it would stare at the Dark-type intently before taking its energy from a distance with Absorb. "We'll stop that Poochy 2," he assured firmly, taking a glance at the Poochyena's rather tired composure. "Flip it back in the air. Tackle."His Poochyena, despite being beaten down at this point, kept his head up and charged straight at the Spinarak. It couldn't let it continue leeching off of his energy and ultimately keep them at a disadvantage after all. The level disparity was already too much for them to handle anyways. As soon as it reached the Bug-type, he dug his head below it and threw it overhead behind him, keeping it in play once again. Please follow that up with an attack, he silently prayed. Currently, her Mareep might just be stronger than his Poochyena. The Spinarak went flying in the air. His Poochyena managed to do a high toss, partly thanks to the Bug-type's lighter weight. The Caterpie simply watched as its friend started falling down, stunned and completely helpless to stopping the two other Pokemon's attacks on the spider. MADE BY NOVA |

She knew the Caterpie would join the fray eventually. She had to make a decision, if even a bad one. "Mareep, tackle again!" she called out and the wool pokemon became a yellow blur. His tail shone bright as he charged the Spinarak and lowered his head. Mareep's head rose up through the Spinarak's location and launched the bug pokemon yet again, this time the spider pokemon falling limp as it landed. "Great! Now Thunder Wave!" she followed, though not fast enough. The Caterpie had shot a string shot attack again at the wool pokemon but missed. Now, though, it ran at full speed on it's small little Caterpie legs (it actually looked more cute than ferocious) and slammed into the slowed Mareep, who fell over into a roll. He seemed to be struggle getting up, but then immediately charged a yellow electric attack towards the caterpillar. The energy zipped through the air and landed directly in the Caterpie's head, it's biggest target. "It's paralyzed!" she called, in case the trainer didn't recognize the move. PHARAOH LEAP. [googlefont=Roboto Condensed] "Finally!"The fall of the Spinarak eventually meant they can simply dog pile onto the Caterpie. Kyle didn't feel as threatened to the Caterpie as he was on the Spinarak, and hopefully, he was right on who to choose as their primary target. It didn't sound fair, though when it came to survival, it was kill or be killed. Hopefully, what was happening wouldn't come close to as gruesome as the saying sounded. "Tackle, Poochy 2."It was clear that his Poochyena wasn't used to moving around too much in such a short period of time. He'd blame it on his lack of attention with their training, but then again, his other Poochyena did not seem to have a problem with it. Mustering its strength, he'd run from point A to point B, with the Caterpie being the intended end point. It wasn't that much larger than the Bug-type, but it was no doubt more powerful at that point. Being paralyzed did not help the Caterpie in its situation either, forcing it to be a sit in place as it watched the Dark-type ram itself at it. With the Caterpie falling limp with the last attack, Kyle went to inspect his Poochyena and copped his pockets for any first aid. Only a single Potion was brought that day, and but at least it was better than nothing. Spraying its contents at his Pokemon, who did not enjoy the sting that each spray gave, he'd face the girl that tagged along with him. "Good job." His tone wasn't the most exciting one, but he did mean his words. As he emptied the contents of the Potion, he placed them back to his pockets, not wanting to simply throw it away in the wild, as asked her. "Why are you tagging along, again?"Defeated Spinarak, Caterpie!

She let go of a breath that she didn't know she was holding and turned to Mareep to make sure he was okay. She leaned down and Mareep walked over, his eyes beaming with pride. Aria helped him remove the string shot and turned to the boy, upset with his comment. "You're welcome," she snapped, tending to Mareep. Her eyes rolled a little bit but her mood stabalized rather quickly. She picked bits of silk-like threads from Mareep's coat. Mareep gave a light 'Baaa' in his direction. "I'm tagging along because it's late and there's a lot of Pokemon out." Her eyes darted to somewhere off along the path where she thought she heard something. As if on cue she watched as a shadowed figure came from the brush. Mareep tensed, jumping from her grasp and turning the direction of the onlooker. "Thunder wave," she called, and Mareep willed the energy in his fur forward at the wild Pokemon. Yellow energy surged forward and landed on the bug type. The attack didn't seem to phase the bug type, but it illuminated the area enough for Aria to identifuy it as a Pinsir. "Now Tackle!" Mareep raced for his target. He beelined for the Pinsir and leaped, turning slightly as to use the force of his body rather than just his head in attempt to knock the Pokemon over. The Pinsir stood her ground, stumbling only slightly before turning on Mareep and grabbing him with her pinsirs, squeezing. Mareep let out a cry. "Tackle again!" Aria called, and Mareep wiggled free of Pinsir's grasp and charged again, and as soon as he landed he charged one more time. The Pinsir tried to retaliate, grabbing Mareep with her pinsirs. Mareep braced himself for a squeeze, but instead Pinsir threw him to the ground. He landed with a thud, but then stood and charged at Pinsir again, knocking him over a final time. Aria began to smile but heard another noise from the brush. "Point your flashlight over there!" she said, pointing to an area opposite the boy she was traveling with. PHARAOH LEAP. [googlefont=Roboto Condensed] Oof, someone's feeling a bit feisty today.He'd notice the change of her tone, but not the rolling of her eyes. Commenting on it and starting an argument was a choice he could make, though it was already too late in the evening to even bother wasting his energy. Taking his Poochyena to a walk was enough hassle for him. Then again, Kyle was quick to dismiss anything and move on, and so this wasn't too much of a dilemma for him to be thinking of seriously anyways. "True, true," he'd mutter in agreement with her statement on why she was here. He'd open his mouth to add more, though he was interrupted when the girl and her Mareep was suddenly preoccupied with the appearance of a Pinsir. Large, scary and intimidating, he was pretty sure his Poochyena wouldn't be able to handle it without having a mini panic attack first. He supposed he'd have to work with Poochy 2's approach on things some time. He was too busy waiting for their battle to end that Kyle only woke from his trance when the girl had ordered him to illuminate an area. The light eventually revealed a Nincada. "Wow, you really did not notice that?" he'd berate his Poochyena, who'd respond by shifting his gaze somewhere else. Perhaps the Dark-type was too focused on the Pinsir to even notice, he supposed. "We're dealing with that, and then we can move on," he told him. It was smaller, and most likely weaker, than the Pinsir, and so his Poochyena did not hunker down as much as he usually did. "Tackle."The Poochyena went to a run, throwing its body straight at the Bug-type, only to be met with a scratch to its face. Poochy 2 backed away for a few steps, shaking his head as he tried to relieve the pain his face just met. Its opponent stayed on its place though, as if waiting for another attack. "Maybe show your dominance right now. Tackle."It wasn't that the Nincada was strong, but more that his Poochyena was weak. He'd normally did not care about his Pokemon's strengths, but he'd rather not have him lag behind his counterpart too much in terms of levels. Poochy 2 gave out a Howl before charging in, taking in account his trainer's words. The Nincada, feeling the fear, simply opted to harden its shell as it endured the pain brought by his Poochyena. "Well, that howl was stupid," he'd comment, as his Poochy 2 was still busy trying to hammer the Bug-type to its place. As soon as the Nincada wasn't moving anymore, the canine would move back to his trainer. "I suppose we should get back." If there were more of those Pinsirs out here, having a Dark-type instead of his usual repertoire of Electrike and Rhyhorn around did not exactly spell good news for Kyle. "I can lend you my flashlight if you're still up to look for Pokemon, though I'm pretty sure my Poochyena just attracted some of them towards us."Defeated Nincada! MADE BY NOVA |

[attr="class","odele1"] can you hear my heartbeat? tired of feeling never enough I close my eyes and tell myself that my dreams will come true there'll be no more darkness when you believe in yourself, you are unstoppable where your destiny lies, dancing on the blades you set my heart on fire don't stop us now, the moment of truth we were born to make history we'll make it happen, we'll turn it around yes, we were born to make history Aria wasn't usually snippy, but she recovered quickly enough that it was already out of her mind. She watched as the boy and his Poochyena finished off another bug type, noticing how cute the bite pokemon was. She wanted a puppy of her own. Mareep was cute and all, but he was no puppy. Besides, he wasn't a great cuddler. Maybe when he evolved and lost his fur, but that was up to him. Some Pokemon chose never to evolve. After the fight, she heard the boy offer her his flashlight. That's awfully sweet of him. "Thanks, but they're pretty rowdy. If you're heading back, we should probably go with you." She took a look around and decided more than figured that there were going to be more Pokemon on the way. She turned to the direction of town and started walking, Mareep following suit. As she walked, Mareep tensed somewhere near Aria and she paused. She couldn't see what he was looking at, but Pokemon saw better in the dark than trainers did. "If you see it, use Thunder Shock," she said in a soft voice, but firmly. She was getting used to Pokemon battles. Mareep released some of the energy from his fur and it shot through the sky, electric streaks darting through the air in seemingly random order before landing on a flying pokemon. After the strike Mareep darted forward with a passion. Not paralyzed, Aria noticed. Drat. "Thunder Shock again!" she recognized the Pokemon as a Butterfree. She knew its type and she knew its weaknesses. It wasn't even a fair fight. That is, until the saw another flying Pokemon appear. Mareep dashed forward and the Butterfree rapidly flapped its wings towards Mareep, creating thick nearly invisible waves of air that struck the wool pokemon. The ladybug Pokemon vibrated so ferociously that it began to emit a strange hum. The sound must have gotten to Mareep because lost his balance. He struggled to stand, let out a small battle cry and another thunder shock straight for Butterfree's face. One pokemon down, another to go. PHARAOH LEAP. [googlefont=Roboto Condensed] Of course she'd go back with him. It was the only logical choice given that they already made a big target of themselves from the wild Pokemon around. It was worse since these were mostly Bug-type Pokemon that a Dark-type Pokemon like Poochy 2 would have trouble with. It was purely on sheer luck that he has yet to find something that would fuck his Poochyena up badly, which had made him consider if it was really either his Electrike or Poochy 1 that was causing him bad luck. A Butterfree had suddenly appeared, with Aria taking the initiative to combat it with her Mareep. She easily dispatched it, though the appearance of a Ledyba made things more interesting. A Supersonic had disoriented her Pokemon, leaving the Electric-type unstable and confused. Although the Butterfree might have fallen, they still have the Ledyba to take into account for. "Tackle."The Poochyena quickly jumped from his spot and charged at the Bug-type, using his weight as he clung on the Ledyba to drag it to the ground and stop the noise that it was generating. A quick burst of stars were enough to throw the Poochyena off from it though, blasting the Dark-type away as he flew back to the air. "You're not letting it away, right?"As the Ledyba got ready to retreat, Poochy 2 shook the dirt away from his fur as he got back to his legs and went for another attack. Going for a running start, Poochy 2 tackled the Ledyba once again. Although the Ledyba was ready and managed to put a Light Screen up, it deemed to be ineffective against physical attacks, with Poochyena's head going straight through the barrier and onto the Ledyba. The final blow eventually got it knocked out at least. "Yeah, I'd rather not stay," Kyle would comment at the appearance of the stronger Pokemon. Caterpie was manageable, but a Butterfree wouldn't be after a while. He'd head straight back to the city, his Poochyena following his steps. Defeated Ledbya! MADE BY NOVA |
