Aria gave her shoulder a little bounce. Swablu crouched slightly before launching herself into the air, spreading her wings wide. The cotton was getting rather dirty, and she decided to go for a bit of a swim. She neared the water, her body lowering slowly until she was just above the water. She could feel the droplets of water that splashed from the flapping of her wings. Swablu curved upwards and then back down into a dive, submerging herself before poking her head up from the surface. She cried cheerfully in Aria's direction. Aria gave a smile towards her new friend, taking a few steps towards the stream. It was rather pretty.

She heard a rustling from behind her and she turned. Like a deerling in the headlights, before her she saw a frozen fire type, Ponyta. It took Aria a second to gain her composure, and it was then she decided that Ponyta was going to be hers. A horse Pokemon. Majestic. 'It shall be mine,' she thought.

"Swablu, use Astonish," she tried to say as quietly as possible. Ponyta tensed, as if he were ready to run, preparing to dart away at a moment's notice. A sudden splash from the water distracted him, Swablu racing towards him with a startling shout. Ponyta let out a cute cry, and Swablu rammed into the horse pokemon and knocking him off balance. "Follow up with Peck!" Aria called, grabbing for a pokeball from her belt.

Swablu flapped her wings, prepulsing herself upward before darting back into the horse pokemon beak-first. Ponyta dodged the attack and rammed into Swablu. "Peck, again!" Aria ordered, and Swablu darted towards Ponyta landing another blow. Ponyta turned to run. "Sing, Swablu!" Aria called. Swablu's voice went from harsh to singsong as she began to sing a lullaby. As soon as she started, the Ponyta slowed, eventually stopping entirely. Aria gave her pokeball a toss before the Ponyta could fall over.
