The Gastly he had was floating around him slowly, seeming to enjoy the world at the moment. Everything else was going swimmingly, everything else was indeed going to be wonderful, and this is what the Pokemon wanted. When it saw the Tropius however, she knew that the pokemon had been attracted by the smell of the food, and she was going to need to defend the others. Bosco was distracted, helping out several of the other pokemon to prevent a fight from breaking out over the food. The Munchlax was a glutton, but that was to be expected from something like that. So it was going to be up to her, up to her to protect the group and make sure that nothing went wrong.

Floating away from the group, she appeared before the other pokemon, her eyes narrowed as she got closer. Once she got close enough, the Tropius looked nearly ready to attack. Gastly opened her eyes wide, and then used one of her favorite attacks, making the gas around her float in an odd way that seemed to call out to the Tropius. The pokemon was slowly lulled into sleep, passing out from the attack known only as Hypnosis.

Moving over to the other pokemon, she floated up several feet. Licking across the pokemon and working to try to make the pokemon paralyzed as well. Each attack was enough to deal some damage, she knew she wasn't the most powerful in the land, but she had a good amount of power and enough to slowly work this one into falling. When the hypnosis wore off, the Tropius roared out, causing Bosco to jump up as it stormed off, retreating for now and trying to hide away from the dangerous ghost pokemon, who simply floated back to camp and seemed pleased with herself.

"Well, that was, very unexpected." He said, looking at the pokemon for a long, long moment. "Well done either way. I wish I had a treat for you. I'll have to make something."

The fire and the smell of food had caused pokemon to wander by, but now, everything had calmed down. Taking several weak steps into the open area, the bellsprout watched the group that was currently eating. When this one took a few more steps in, it was, as odd as it would sound, was Kabuto who moved in first. Gastly watched from the side lines, and Bosco was watching as well. The shellfish pokemon was dripping with water, and it was clear it had some kind of plan. The ground itself was pretty moist anyways, and this was making a bit of mud start to form. It was then that Bosco realized that was going through the ancient pokemon's mind.

When the Bellsprout moved in some, there seemed to be a shift in it's size. Perhaps something like growth was being used. Kabuto shifted and slapped the mud that was before it. The dirt and mud was sent out slapping across the Bellsprout, getting into the primitive eyes of the grass type. While this wouldn't be the fastest way to do this, it was going to help the old pokemon get into a stronger position. The Sprout backed up slightly, shaking it's leaves and sending out a sleeping powder... The wrong way. It missed the shellfish pokemon skittered forwards quickly, seeming to jump up, land on the grass type, and claw the ever living hell out it before quickly falling away from the grass pokemon.

The vine of the pokemon sprang out and slapped across the back of the pokemon. It rolled and then came back upwards. While the attack hurt, and hurt badly, it was not something that was going to keep him from being able to fight back. Once again, he would strike back towards the smaller pokemon, covering it in mud once again with Mud-slap. It was enough to cause the pokemon to recoil once more and the attempt to wrap around missed this time. The absorb attack that Kabuto used didn't do a lot of damage, it did help to recover some of the injuries he had taken. The Flower Pokemon realized how dangerous things were getting, and quickly retreated. When it fell back fully, the small shellfish pokemon came back, and Bosco would pull out one of his potions to heal the small pokemon.

"You did well. Smart thinking without me needing to call in. Well done my little friend."

Well, things were going great. Bosco used a few things to help out with Kabuto, smiling as he treated the small shellfish pokemon. It was a nice thing in truth. This little guy with tough, strong, and very able when it came to battle. He could only wonder how much this would change, how powerful Kabuto would get when he finally evolved into a Kabutops. There would be a lot of interesting times ahead it would seem. A smile was upon his lips as he fed this pokemon and then looked around. He could hear something, but he was't exactly sure where it was.

A Spinarak slowly crawled out from the bushes, clearly looking to snag up some food. One more, Kabuto was going to step up. There was a smile on Bosco's face as the small bug pokemon came crawling towards each other. This was going to be interesting. For the most part, Kabuto was going to have a number of advantages against the small bug type, but the Spinarak could have a number of moves that could have a lot of impact on the pokemon. He raised an eyebrow for a second as the shellfish pokemon shifted and use the mud-slap technique. The bug type staggered backwards a bit, shaking his head to try to clear the mud and missing with it's attempt to use string shot missed.

Right now, that was when he realized that his Kabuto had learned a new trick. The Kabuto rushed forwards, with more speed and power than he had expected, slamming into the Spinarak and sending it spinning and crashing into the ground. The bug pokemon managed to get up, enough of the mud knocked away for it to see a bit more and rushing forwards, slamming it's horn into the shell of the pokemon, only causing some minor damage. Once again, Kabuto used his Ancient Power ability, ramming hard into the bug pokemon and finishing it off, sending it flying away from them and into the forest once more.

"Well, look at you. You even learned a new thing. I like that. Well done my friend." He said, petting it for a moment.
