It felt like hours had passed as Murasaki continued to sit on her knees with her head down, an incense between her hands and an audible whisper playing on her lips. In the darkened room of her family's dojo was a shrine for her grandfather that she was now paying her respects to. It was her first time doing so and even though she knew she would have to do it sooner or later she always wished she would never have to. She had already lost track of time and would surely continue to be there had it not been for the light tugging of her shirt from her Ralts. Lifting her head Murasaki turned her attention to the little Ralts who had tears streaming down it's face, just like she had. Quickly she realized that her own emotions were affecting the Ralts and she began to wipe her face. I'm sorry, Let's go out for some fresh air..
The death of her grandfather had left Murasaki confused and looking for answers that she couldn't find. In his passing his last words to her was to go find her happiness. Old age had taken him and he must have known his time was coming because he also left the Ono estate and dojo in her name along with a Ralts. Anyone else would have probably understood about finding happiness but her happiness was with her grandfather, in the daily chores and the peaceful lives that they led. With him gone she felt alone in the world and with little to no thought about her future while her grandfather was alive, now that he was gone she was truly lost. The people of the town paid their respects and of course tried to give guidance but Murasaki would hear none of it, she wanted to be alone until she could figure out what to do from here on out.
It had already been a week since his passing but each day felt like yesterday. Murasaki had come to the conclusion that staying in the town wasn't going to make her happy. In the end she decided she would leave this town and explore the world, she had heard of a trainer's life and what end goal one had and decided that she would take that path as well. It was a simple goal one that she would also use to spread her name and return the Ono Dojo to it's former glory. For now it was something to get her mind off of her own pity party. Truth be told she would have left immediately upon finding out what a trainer did but she needed some training of her own. Murasaki decided that she wasn't about to go out into the world without the strength to achieve her goals and decided she would leave when she felt it was the right time. Until then Murasaki tended to the Dojo and the Ono estate, making sure both were kept in pristine conditions along with taking on some odd jobs for money.
The weather is nice today, it was luck that we didn't get any rain. Raaalts The two walked side by side near the edge of town, taking in the scenery and admiring the changing colors of the sky as the sun set slowly. If Murasaki enjoyed one thing the most it was summer nights. The walk was mostly silent but it was the company the two shared that made it feel just right. Murasaki had never had any friends outside of her grandfather and his pokemon but now that she had Ralts she some sliver of happiness that she could hold onto.
