Behold My Ambition  The World of Pokemon is truly a fascinating place, a land of mystery, excitement and wonder that the normal man cannot truly experience, and a life of Pokemon trainer had it's high and lows sure, but the time and energy in order to become the very best is one marked with training, stress, yet a burning passion to exceed all overs. For Crimson after 15 years from his original dream when he was once 10 years old was no exception, he yearned for more battle, training and capturing Pokemon to learn, befriend, and train along side.
Route 39 was certainly more spacious and green compared to Crimson's journey through Route 29, he had a much open view of the sky, the coat wearing young man took the moment to take a deep breath, breathing in the fresh air of the open plain fields with a smile on his face. "Mmm... That fresh air, clears the mind and body. Heh, I should think about buying a summer home here or something." Crimson chuckled, deciding to venture off from the main road and headed straight for the open plain fields, no doubt sticking out like a sore thumb with his long, hooded black coat that flowed freely with the wind.
"Alright, now let's see what kind of Pokemon is here. Bulbasaur! I choose you!"
As Crimson hurled his Pokball out, the Pokemon Trainer's bulbasaur was summoned into the world, jumping in the air with a smile on his face, ready for battle, making sure to stay close to his trainer. "Keep your eyes peeled Bulbasaur, first Pokemon we see we'll fight or capture it." |

Walking pass the route 38 with no success of finding any pokemon, Sprider looked around the grass on his way. He mumbled to himself “When will i catch my first pokemon. Damn me!” He walked along to see some person standing in between the tall grasses gracing past his knees because he did not wear pants that day but shorts. He did not if it was reap time to initiate a converstaion because the man looked like he was talking to his bulbasaur. Having alone bonding time with your pokemon is important. Sprider looked at the pokeball stuck at his belt. It contained his favorite little pokemon Charmander who he nicknamed as Little Fire Beast. He surely was a small beast with fiery moves that can surely do good danger. It can help him set things on fire, heat up the surroundings and warm the place. Sprider talked to the pokeball “Want to come out here, you little beast?” The little pokemon would also be getting impatient in that ball. Sprider pointed the pokeball in front of him and said “Come on out, my friend.” as the ball produced red laser in front of him and brought forth the little lizard with tail on fire. Sprider looked at the stranger and if they would meet eyes, he would say “Hello? Not here to fight anyone. Just looking for someone to be my charmander’s friend." Behold My Ambition The call of the younger man caused Crimson to turn his gaze and look at Sprider Hawk who mentioned he was searching for those who can become a friend to his Charmander. A bold idea, one has to admit, which he smiled placing a hand on the fellow trainer's shoulder. "Well, it is good to see that a fellow trainer has a desire and ambition to look after their Pokemon, even going to find friends for the beloved friend. I'll tell you what kid, I will-"
Before Crimson could even finish his sentence, he spotted two pokemon of different types emerging from the grassy fields. One water type- Slowpoke and a Grass type - budew. He grinned wickedly, as Crimson's Bulbasaur roared cutely, signalling that the Pokemon has been spotted, preparing itself for battle in-front of the two Trainers. The older man looked at Sprider and gave a firm nod, before turning his attention mainly towards the Slowpoke and offered a thumbs up.
"So you want to find a friend for Charmander huh? Alright, heres the deal. You join me with the next upcoming battle, and I allow my Bulbasaur to become your Charmander's friend deal?" Crimson offered the deal to the young boy, as he whipped out his Pokedex to analyse the water and grass-type pokemon before him:
"Slowpoke - Slowpoke, the Dopey Pokémon."
"No one can tell what a Slowpoke is thinking, if it ever does think. Its specialty is fishing with its tail."
"Budew, the Bud Pokémon."
"In winter, it keeps its bud closed to survive the cold, but then opens it again in the spring."
After looking and noticing that Slowpoke is a water type and Budew was a Grass Type, he turned to face Sprider Hawk with a nod. "You heard all that? I got the Slowpoke, whilst you have Budew. Your Charmander is a fire type that does well against Grass type! just be careful and down set my Bulbasaur on fire. Not unless you want to lose your first friend for Charmander. NOW let the fire begin! Bulbasaur! Use Vine Whip!!"
The Trainer's grass type grunted obeying the command as it unleashed a storm of leafs at the water-type, and not only was it super effective, but it also managed to cause a Critical Hit! Managing to knock the Slowpoke back and knocking the Pokemon out with a single Blow!

The red eyed individual looked at Sprider and said that it was a good idea to look strongly after their pokemon and find friends for them. Before he could chip in another piece of advice, two pokemon came out of their hiding. The elder boy gave him a nod before he turned his attention back to his charmander. He mumbled “I have avoided grass till now because I wanted to fight along side someone strong, so that if I would not be able to help my charmander in battle someone else can.” He looked at his charmander with the eyes of trust and the little fiery beast swung its tail like it was ready for action. The black haired man told him that if he can help him in the next battle, then he would allow his bulbasaur to be charmander’s friend. The fiery little beast did understand what that dude said and grew a small grin on his small face. Sprider said “Sure shot, sir..” asking for his name. He would then agree to the deal that charmander shall take on the grass type. Sprider looked at his charmander and said “You ready baby?” It replied “char, char!” with his tail burning with much bigger flame. Sprider said “Go fiery little beast and use Dragon Rage on that flower pokemon. Complete your combination by using Flamethrower twice.” The little charmander ran towards the bud like pokemon who was about to be set on fire. The fiery little beast opened his mouth and shot forward a blue ball of energy at the budew. With slow speed of the poison pokemon, it got hit by it. It then used Growth on itself to raise his attacks and special attacks. Charmander quickly realizing that he must use flamethrower, jumped up and blew flame right on budew’s face just as he landed. The budew was burnt and the flamethrower was super effective against budew. The budew absorbed a bit of health from the charmander’s pool but the burnt was enough to bring it down. Charmander did not have to double up his previous attack and he burn handled it on his own. Sprider was so proud that he sat on one of his knees and opened his arms for his charmander to snuggle in, keeping his tail away knowing that it can hurt his master. Sprinder after a quick hug would ask “So…” indicating that he was waiting for the individual to introduce his bulbasaur to his charmander. Behold My Ambition Crimson couldn't help but notice a theme throughout his travel, for every wild Pokemon he managed to defeat, immediately another one takes it's place! Not that he didn't mind of course, but he slowly began to wonder as to why such Pokemon were so determined for a fight? Crimson looked at Sprider again a smirk, he saw how well his Charmander was holding up against a Grass-type pokemon and was glad to have seen that such type vs type battle worked well. "Alright, that was a good start, but here comes some more! Keep your guard up lad."
Soon the Pokedex flickered with life, as it began to scan and analyse both Wooper and Skitty answered with the following:
"Wooper, the Water Fish Pokémon."
"Though they prefer to live in cold water, these appealing Pokémon forage for food on land. They are kept warm by a layer of insulating body fluid. Wooper is the pre-evolved form of Quagsire."
"Skitty, the Kitten Pokémon."
"Skitty will get completely caught up in pursuing any moving objects that catches its eye."
That was when Crimson looked to his Bulbasaur, who in turn turn his gaze to his Trainer and gave a solid nod readying himself for another battle. "Alright lad, same as before. I'll go for the water type, let's see how well your charmander fair's against a regular normal type Pokemon. Bulbasaur! Vine Whip!" Bulbasaur roared with his signature cry, as two long grass whips emerged out from underneath the bulb on his back which began to thrash and whip the wooper! The Water type Pokemon recieved quite alot of damage, but it was still holding her own, which she returned with a water gun... Only this time it was aiming for the Charmander! Bulbasaur noticed the attack and managed to jump into the water gun, protecting the charmander from getting's his tail extinguished, taking a small amount of damage.
Now Bulbasaur was mad at the Wooper that tried to go for a cheep shot on the advantage pokemon, Crimson noticed the wild Pokemon's behaviour and decided it was best to knock it out completely once and for all, calling for his Grass-Type Pokemon to perform a Razor Leaf which he obeyed gladly, the furious knife like leaves struck the Wooper knocking it out with that final blow. However, before Crimson could celebrate something happen to Bulbasaur...
It was evolving! With a Bright Light it transformed from a Bulbasaur into an Ivysaur, completely catching Crimson off-guard!
"Whoah! Bulbasaur! You're an Ivysaur now!"
Never before did Crimson use his Pokedex to analyse the newly evolved pokemon which stated with the following:
"Ivysaur, The Seed Pokémon, Bulbasaur's evolved form."
"The bulb on its back absorbs nourishment and blooms into a large flower."
(+2 levels. Bulbasaur has reached level 17! Bulbasaur has Evolved into Ivysaur!) |

The man next to him still did not give his name away, but did warn Sprider that more danger lurked around them. Two pokemon came out of their hiding. The man’s pokedex came into life and flipped into action. It identified them as Wooper, the water fish pokemon and Skitty, the Kitten pokemon. Crimson gave the same instructions like before. Sprider had no problem of following someone elder’s order. He said “Aye, Aye sir!” and looked at his little fiery beast which said “Char char charrr.” which came out as a mimic of his master. Sprider grinned and said “So you know what to do, right? Spit some super hot fire on it. Flamethrower!” The little charmander nodded his head and charged towards the skitty kitty, who would growl at his charmander after the attack hits. The growl would cause the charmander’s attack to decrease by one stage. Sprider ordered “charmander! Use Dragon Rage!” Charmander would create a energy ball of red color this time and shove it on the skitty which looked unfazed until it hit it. Sent back a few meters, the skitty lied on the floor for a few seconds. Too busy in his fight, Sprider did not notice that the whooper had aimed an attack on the charmander, but it was the bravery of the bulbasaur that saved his fiery little beast. Sprider thanked the trainer and then looked at his charmander who gawked at the skitty who came hobbling towards them. Sprider said “Let us end this battle for once and for all. Do a flip over it and use flamethrower.” The skitty actually intended to use tackle which failed due to the charmander jumping over it. He used his attack to flame the skitty up. The skitty was knocked out and charmander jumped in happiness. Sprider bent on his knees and said “You are the best, charmander.” It was then when he witnessed something beautiful for the first time in his life, an evolution. He saw the cute little bulbasaur turn into Ivysaur. The small pokemon’s bulb blossomed and brought joy even to charmnder who also looked at the bulbasaur in excitement. Crimson - CHARMANDER EVOLVED [4 levels] - charmander is happy to see it evolve. The evolution was a blessing to everyone. It brought along joy and a couple of pokemon too. The two pokemon came from a nearby bush and cried at the two trainers. Look like the newly evolved pokemon cannot have a hug or something on the line until they are down. Sprider said “Let me take out my pokedex, this time.” To the person standing next to him. Sprider took out his red colored pokedex which he used to scan a turtle like pokemon right in front of him. The pokedex read “Turtwig, the tiny leaf pokemon. The pokemon can photosynthesis using the leaf on its head under the shining sun. The shell on its back is actually soil turned hard which provides safety. The leaves turn limp when the pokemon is thirsty.” Sprider looked over to the person and said “I will be taking this one home. Scan the other pokemon while i capture this one.” Sprider said to his fiery little beast, “Hey, look at that turtle.” Sprider would point at the turtle with a pair of leaves on its head. He would add “We are bringing it home. Okay?” Charmander would nod his head in approval. He understand what his master meant. A new friend for Charmander to play with. But maybe dangerous if he uses too much fire around it. Sprider said “Okay, let us tire it out first. I do not want you to over hit it. Okay, baby? You are happy with this?” Charmander nodded his head and said “char charr” with happy face. It looked like the fiery little beast would welcome it home with open arms. Sprider said “Let it come at you, run away whenever you can and after a bit of chase, Flamethrower it!” Charmander started running towards it and saw the turtwig charge towards him. The movement looked like it wanted to tackle him down. Charmander was aware of the tackle and so with graceful movement he dived to his right and started running in that direction. The turtwig followed and Sprider shouted “change directions” as he saw the turtwig close in. The cunning Charmander quickly took a three sixty degree turns and suddenly jumped over the head of the turtwig as it had bent his head to tackle the fiery little beast. Quite impressing. Sprider thought. He commanded “Right Now!” The Charmander burst flame from his little mouth that burned the skin of it. The attack was super effective. The turtwig was on the verge of exhaustion. Sprider knew it was the right time. He threw an empty pokeball from his pokebelt onto the turtwig. The ball transmuted the turtle pokemon into a red laser and absorbed it in. Now all Sprider could do was wait for the ball to stop rolling. Crimson - CHARMANDER had EVOLVED [4 levels] - waiting for the ball to stop rolling.
