{  } Having come all the way to Fusube City for the Dragon's Den, Derek wasn't going to lose out on a chance to scan through Route 45 for some interesting pokemon to catch and train for Johto's gym challenge. So far he hadn't managed to come across anything, but that always seemed to be the case until BAM! The pokemon came to him. He just might have been better of sitting off to the side of the path and waiting for that to happen, but sitting still wasn't much of an option. Not for Derek. He'd successfully bonded with a Gible that Mateo revered for it's aggressive, battle-happy nature, and he'd be damned if he wasn't going to find out just how strong she really was! He was hoping she couldn't lose... But perhaps hiss expectations were a bit high. She was still a wild pokemon, after all. He'd be working with her daily from now on in hopes of bonding further with the dragon, as he wasn't exactly certain that she had taken to him the way a trainer would hope of their pokemon. Either way, a person could be seen up ahead. Calling out with a "Hey!", Derek tried to wave them down in hopes they could have a small chat. Or maybe they'd like to look for some pokemon together? "Please wait up! Heeyyyyy!~"That was as long as it didn't happen to be one of the annoying trainers he'd bumped into recently while searching for pokemon. Well, it was really just the one, but who could say how many more trainers there were out there like them? There was bound to be at least one or two, asides from that person's circle of friends. Bosco had been walking for a while now. It was, honestly a long way to walk for only one person, but here he was. Well, him and Dilla. His small pokemon had grown strong. Very strong over the time since he was at the tower. Now it was time to get fully back on track and get into the world. He had done a little bit. Just not a whole ton of things as he had wanted. Ribs healing was a slow process no matter what kind of medical science was involved.
At first, when they crested over the hill, Bosco got excited! A wild Gible! Ha ha! That would make a good match for... Wait. No. It appeared there was someone following it, yelling at it to wait up. A trainer perhaps. Bosco made a motion for Dilla to relax a little and he watched the duo for a moment. With a chuckle, he made another motion, and Dilla would take a deep breath before firing a Water Gun, not aimed right at Gible, but enough to make it stop so the trainer could catch up.
"Why hello there!" He called out, smiling and waving his hand. "Looks like you could have used a little help!"

{ } Derek was glad the person responded, though perhaps their Croconaw's usage of it's water attack could've been gone without. This is because it seemed to rile up some nearby pokemon, a Zubat and Croagunk coming from off the side of the route's path to pay these trainers a 'visit' of sorts. Releasing his pokemon to do battle, Derek still knew he needed the cooperation of the other trainer if he didn't want his pokemon getting ganged up on by feral thugs. "Help is always more than welcome!" He stated in response, looking to his Gible that had already given chase to the wild Zubat. "Use Dragon Rush!"The way it flapped about in the air must've felt like something akin to mockery for her, as Kseniya the Gible launched into the air faster than he'd ever seen a pokemon do so thus far, tackling it down to the ground in the harshest of manners. The Zubat, out of it's element, seemed to be content with latching onto the Gible with it's fangs in order to Absorb some of Kseniya's vitality. She didn't seem to like that... Utilizing the same attack once more, the Gible with the Zubat who clung to her via it's fangs rammed straight into and through a tree not once, but twice as she made her point clear to the Zubat that she was nothing to mess around with. Derek couldn't help but grow wide-eyed at the spectacle. 'Geez, Mateo really was not kidding with what he said...'Gazing over towards the other trainer and his Croconaw, Derek wondered just how their battle, should one be underway, was going. Well. It seemed that his little action had an unintended side effect. That was... Oddly annoying. He was going to need to make this up to the other trainer. Dilla lowered himself down, and Bosco smiled a bit. "Dilla, ice fang." He said, walking slowly towards the trainer. Dilla knew what to do from this point, and would keep doing it until given a different order. The big jaw pokemon would rush the Croagunk, it's teeth suddenly covered in a thin frost. It bit down hard, grabbing the toxic pokemon and tossing it far. Dilla was far more powerful than this little guy, and it wisely decided to not counter attack, rushing away from them and seeming fearful of the pokemon that stood before it.
"Sorry about that. I thought this was a wild one, not claimed by someone." He said, motioning to Gible. "I had already called the attack before I saw you having trouble, so I had him adjust aim to try to stop your little land shark friend. I'm Bosco." He said, offering out his hand and smiling a bit at Derek. "Hope I am not bothering you. Just traveling around for a while."
He felt a little odd with the battle being so short, he must have wandered too close to a group of weaker pokemon that were huddling together for protection. Who knows what was going to be happening with anything else that was about to be stirred up. "Well, might as well take this moment and do some training here."

{ } Reaching out to return Bosco's handshake, the trainer replied with a quick "No harm, no foul, right?" before looking to their companion. Yet another person who'd already managed to evolve their pokemon...it seemed like there were a lot of those. Derek must've been slacking, or so he took it to be that way. Maybe he'd just had a late start, and the people he'd met were older, more experienced trainers? It was hard to tell. "And it's no bother. I was actually going to ask and see if you saw any wild pokemon, but well, y'know." He chuckled lightly at the thought of how his Gible had knocked out the Zubat. It was brutal, sure, but also funny. "I'm Derek. And my friend here is Kseniya...she can be a real handful, but she's probably my strongest pokemon, so I can't afford to let her slack around quite yet."Saying it without proper confidence, the Gible grew slightly frustrated. Fortunately another wild pokemon caught her sight, and she vented on it by utilizing her Dragon Rush attack once more. The Koffing, whom she specifically targeted, reeled back before retaliating with Assurance. For once, it seemed like Kseniya had been hit hard enough to be budged. The Koffing's attack pushed her back, and she almost appeared to have flinched. "Again!" Derek chanted, cheering for his pokemon, as he always would. The attack knocked the Koffing back and onto the ground, where it became embedded in the earth. It seemed to moan after showing signs of flinching, causing Derek's pokemon to proactively attack once more in the same manner. At the very least, her aggressive display of power has caused the Koffing to finally lose consciousness. It's eyes closed shut and it's body no longer emitted even the smallest amount of gas. This lead to Derek plucking a spare pokeball from his pocket, lobbing it at the downed Koffing whose body was only partially surfaced from the ground. "You really outdid yourself, girl."The Gible, proud of it's accomplishment, simply huffed at her trainer's praise as if the results were to be expected. In all truths, she didn't consider the Koffing a proper challenge. It was just a warm-up. MADE BY VEL OF GS + WW |

"Well, it seems we found what you were after in the long run." He said with a chuckle, looking at the pokemon as it got a little flustered by her trainers words. "Trust me, Dilla here used to be the same way. He is head strong and bold, but it has cost him more than a few times. Have more confidence in yourself and your ability to lead them. It goes a long way. Plus hey, it will help you bond with your pokemon. Some of the very picky about how they let their trainers act around them."
While the Gible was off, charging away at the Koffing, Bosco turned his head a little, seeing the Oddish that popped up, clearly upset by the nearby combat. When Dilla noticed it, there was a sweeter smell in the air, and he shook his head, trying to get it out of his mind before he rushed forwards, jaw opening up wide and clamping down on the little pokemon, ice covered fangs seeming to quickly take it's toll as the pokemon shook it's head violently, tossing the Oddish several feet away where it struggled to get it. Part of Bosco was impressed it had even gotten up, but then he just shrugged a bit. Some pokemon and people were far tougher than they looked. A smile was upon his face.
"Dilla, be kind, knock it out with a Slash and send it flying please." He said, the pokemon nodding once and charging in. The small pokemon barely knew what hit it before it was being sent over one of the near by hills and onto the other side of it. "I think Dilla is a little overly powerful here. He is probably about to grow again and turn into his final form. That would be nice, I'm tired of him always lugging about and not being able to keep up." He said, teasing the small pokemon before tossing a treat into the air. He would walk beside Derek and offer him a treat for the Gible. "That might help calm her down."

With a flash of light the Koffing was materialized into the Pokeball, dropping to the ground with a slight 'clink'. One shake. Two shakes. Then a click gave notice that the Koffing was successfully captured. Congratulations! Keep up the great work![break][break]

"Hey, well done. Congratulations on the new pokemon. I hope they serve you well." He said, smiling a bit and nodding slightly as he watched the ball fully settle down. Attracted by all the noise, the smell of the treats, and everything else, Bosco noticed her from the corner of his eye. He almost spun around in place, his hand raising up to point towards the small pokemon.
It was amazing what one could find out here. This was one of the few that was missing from what he wanted when it came to his perfect team. While he knew that his team had weaknesses, a good number of them, he really didn't care. A lot of the pokemon he wanted to take with him on his full scale gym battle where now with him. While he would have issues with some of them... He really didn't care. The strength through adversity was worth it.
Dilla had sprung as well, his eyes quickly finding and locking onto the pokemon that Bosco was pointing at. A tiny Nidoran. While the idea of collecting this tiny thing was not exactly on the short list of pokemon to collect according to Dilla, Bosco seemed to have something else in mind. The Big Jaw pokemon was far faster than the smaller Nidoran. He was getting ready to bite down when Bosco called out, causing the pokemon to stutter for a moment before complying.
"Dilla! Hydro pump!" Bosco called. He knew the attack was a little bit powerful, but all in all, it would be the most useful at this stage of the game. The massive water flow hit the small poison pin pokemon, making it tumble several feet in one direction, it barely had enough time to stand on it's feet before something else bumped into it. Cold, metallic in nature. The pokeball bounced up and condensed the small pokemon down to light.
"Come on. You are among the last that I need for my team."
