{  } Having found some pokemon of interest in this area the day prior with another trainer, Derek set out to Route 32 once more in hopes of happening across more desirable pokemon in order to capture them. He'd still not been overly certain about his current team, and knew he'd need to make some changes on his lineup when it came to challenging specific pokemon gyms anyway. Moving along the outer edge of the tall grass, Derek kept an eye for anything that bolted out from the thick foliage while his pokemon, Kseniya the Gible, performed a "push" (hunting tactic) to force the wild creatures out from their hiding place. Whether she caught sight of them or Derek, it wouldn't take long for the pokemon to make quick work of the pursuit. Taking notice of a human-like figure up ahead, Derek adjusted his gaze to them as they drew closer. It appeared to be another trainer, perhaps. When they could make out one another's features, Derek sought to wave them down, hoping they'd be looking up and take notice. All the while his Gible, Kseniya, has been darting through the tall grass recklessly in search of an opponent. She was very desperate for a battle... MADE BY VEL OF GS + WW |

in the palm of your hands [attr="class","newbg5"] Going to route 32 was a great idea but the question is what exactly does he plan on doing in Route 32? Well for starters he came here to dance with Parsifal! It looks like Parsifal has decided to give everyone some dancing lessons. The pup feels it’s a great way to fight, which is why the pup is the strongest member out of everyone here! Although there is a problem, Poseidon and Zeref can’t dance for nothing! Zeref wanted to take up dancing when he was younger to help Parsifal out but he kept tripping and failing because of his clumsy personality so he backed out immediately. Now here he is dragged into another dance lesson with the rest of his Pokemon team how annoying. [break] [break] Zeref and Poseidon moaned as they listen to the pup’s instructions. The pup would walk back and forth as if he was a sergeant and if someone slacked off he would bark at them and worse of all shoot out a ball of flames at them known as EMBER! Speaking of which it looks like Parsifal is about to do that right now! Parsifal jumped around, let out a loud pitch bark before shooting another Ember attack! Zeref and Poseidon flailed their arms around before dodging the attack! Their hands were in the air and they were standing on one foot with their eyes widen in fear. Parsifal snorted at them before turning around to continue his dancing lecture. [break] [break] The trainer and his alligator friend sighed underneath their breath wondering why the hell this adorable little Growlithe is so damn bossy or most importantly why does Zeref even allow the pup to be this bossy? Sometimes Zeref questions this himself and sometimes he wishes he can actually understand Pokemon so he can have a full out conversation with this pupper. “He can be so harsh at times can’t he?” Zeref whispered to Poseidon causing the alligator to nod his head as they try to follow Parsifal’s dance steps. “Why is it so hard to move our bodies like that? Malice and Lancelot are pros at this but that’s because they aren’t getting attack by Parsifal 24/7.” Poseidon nodded his head once more as the two of them narrowed their eyes at the pros dancing right beside them. [break] [break] Lancelot was twirling around like a ballerina while the ghost would try to go with the rhythm by either swerving back and forth or by spinning. Meanwhile Poseidon and Zeref are struggling like no tomorrow. Zeref was about to say something again until he felt a sharp glare coming from Parsifal. The pup didn’t even have to turn around to say anything heck Zeref and Poseidon were prepared for it! They held each other’s hands staring in fear once more as if they were watching a horror movie! “I don’t know who is worse my sister or Parsifal!” The Ranger and Poseidon cried wishing they could get out of this madness. { } Getting close enough to see what was going on, Derek laughed in his head at how the person's pokemon behaved. The Growlithe seemed to be in charge, even giving the trainer a run for their money. With Gible stomping away further into the tall grass, Derek approached them with a sudden dragging of his feet against the gravel road, signalling his approach. Or perhaps it was an intrusion. They were having a lesson, after all... "Hey there!~ Sorry to bother ya, but I couldn't help but notice you guys dancing about. My name's Derek." Keeping the corner of his gaze fixated on the tall grass that rustled as Kseniya the Gible raced through, he continued on introducing himself while allowing the dragon to go unmentioned. "I'm looking for wild pokemon. Would you be interested in joining, by chance?"Waiting on an answer, Derek was startled by the sound of his Gible's excited yelp followed by a low humming sound. Making way through the tall grass after her were two wild pokemon, causing Derek to turn his attention to them. "Kseniya, what're you running for?! Attack!" As they tailed Kseniya closer to the two trainers on the open path, they stopped dead in their tracks and hesitated for a moment, giving Derek's pokemon a brief opening. "No, not that! Use Earth Power." The trainer stated as Kseniya began to glow blue. Instead he stomped her dominant foot and sent a portion of the ground under the Beldum crashing up into it's underside... The wild pokemon seemed visibly effected, though did not hesitate to fight back, striking Derek's Gible with it's Take Down maneuver. Sending Kseniya sliding back to Derek's feet, she braced herself with both hands on the ground. Getting upset by this, she raised both arms and slammed down once more. The Beldum, falling victim to yet another attack, seemed to stagger in the air before crashing down onto the ground, it's one large eye gradually coming to a close. Knowing all too well what this pokemon was capable of in it's evolved forms, Derek plucked his last generic pokeball and gave it a toss in the downed Beldum's direction. Although Poseidon never met this Zuri person, the alligator understands how he feels. If another one of his species sees him dancing like this he would be crying too! However it looks as if they’re worse nightmare came to life! Someone showed up seeing their embarrassing life causing the two to panic! [break] [break] “You...you saw nothing!” Zeref cried while stuttering his own words. Even Poseidon was nodding his head for approval. Wait a minute did this guy say he is looking for wild Pokemon? The Ranger tone changed instantly heck it felt like him and Poseidon were in perfect sync! The two of them held their hands together with their eyes sparkling. “Did you just say looking for wild Pokemon? That sounds great get us out of this torture!” He cried nearly jumping out of his skin when Parsifal gave them and annoyed look on his face before turning his head in a sassy like manner. “Great oh my name is Zeref by the way it’s nice to meet you Derek.” He said lending out a hand hoping he would accept his handshake. “Sorry you had to see an embarrassing scene. I hope you don’t mind keeping this a secret for me will yeah?” [break] [break] If only they could chat a little longer. They were encountered by two Pokemon but they seemed rather weak compared the Pokemon they’ve fought. “Electric types huh not the best typing but Poseidon let’s get out of this dancing dump! Poseidon let’s have some fun this will be a good practice for you and it seems rather weak. Just trust me on this one and let’s go ahead and use WATER GUN!” Poseidon jumped in front of his trainer lifted up his jaw before shooting out a beam of water straight towards the Magnemite! { } Ecstatic to find that his capture had been successful, Derek looked over to Zeref with a wide smile before it died down to a slightly worried look. "There's another one." He stated, verbally acknowledging that there was now a Skarmory encroaching on the two trainers. It looked rather confident in itself, gently flaring it's wings in a display of dominance... Wondering if the trainer would accept the challenge, Derek retreated a few paces after securing the pokeball containing his newly caught Beldum. He already had a name picked out for the little guy, being Rasputin. All that was left was for Derek to begin training them as soon as possible, likely meaning the next day. But until that point in time... Keeping an eye out for Zeref and their pokemon, Derek remained at the ready to jump in if things got out of control. He didn't think that to be the case, however, as their Croconaw and Growlithe appeared to be capable enough to hold their own in battle. Hoping they would make quick work of the Skarmory, Derek loafed around until he could properly say his farewells. Parsifal barked at Zeref as if he said exactly that before getting hit by a METAL CLAW from the Skarmory! The dog jumped to his feet growling underneath his breath before turning into a ball of flames slamming right into the Skarmory! It took some major damage and in all honesty Zeref wouldn’t be surprised if the pup took it down in two shots. The bird used AIR CUTTER and that move was bit difficult to dodge even for Parsifal’s dancing moves. The pup got hit again and had slid backwards. Zeref crossed his arms watching this not giving him any slack heck maybe losing will lower his damn ego since he has been winning too darn much! Perhaps he should ask Kyle for some advice on this one. “I thought you were stronger than that.” Zeref said bluntly causing the pup to jump to his paws giving Zeref a sharp glance as if he was saying he’s way stronger than that! Thank goodness the other guy left that would be embarrassing to see.” It’s true he can be cold at times since he got that from his father during his own training and he refuses to show it to those he is close to. in the palm of your hands [attr="class","newbg5"] Seeing how Parsifal took down that Skymory made Zeref shake his head wishing he wouldn’t have to ask his partner for help. Although this might be the case it looks like he might end up using his partner again because of the wild Pokemon that decided to join in on the fun. It seems as if Parsifal’s battle summoned another Pokemon but that’s not all it’s a Wormadam which means most of his Pokemon don’t stand much of a chance against it other than Parsifal. [break] [break] Zeref bit his lip wishing as he thought long and hard about his current situation. He wanted to use Malice to she can gain some experience as well as Lancelot but because this Wormadam is a bug/steel type that means neither of their attacks will work! He could always use Poseidon but being part bug might be complicated. Zeref turned his head to Parsifal but then slapped his cheeks. I can’t rely on Parsifal all the time it’s going to make his ego burst out of his damn head! Think carefully you might not be able to use Lancelot or Malice but you can at least use Poseidon again! [break] [break] The ranger turned his head over to his alligator friend but it felt as if the alligator knew exactly what he was thinking. Poseidon stood in front of Zeref giving him a nod of an approval. “Alright Poseidon let’s do this. Malice I hate to do this to you buddy but I’m going to make it up to you later!” Malice gave a slow nod deciding to sit back and enjoy the show but on the other hand it looks as if Parsifal was surprised at the fact his trainer didn’t pick him for this job. It’s probably because his trainer knows darn well he would knock it out within a matter of seconds! [break] [break] The Wormadam on the other hand took this opportunity to use QUIVER DANCE and Zeref knew instantly what that meant. He turned his gaze over to Poseidon giving him a slow nod. Poseidon lifted up his chest and his jaw giving off an intimidating face using the move SCARY FACE! Although the Wormadam rose up its stats it was thanks to Scary Face he was able to lower its basic attacks that is good for the time being. “INCOMING!” Zeref called out breaking Poseidon’s thoughts pattern when the alligator realized the bug type Pokemon was planning on using the move CONFUSION! Poseidon quickly dodged the attack rushing forward using its move BITE and landing a direct hit! It might not be as powerful like Parsifal’s Fire Fang but at least it gets the job done! “WATER GUN!” If only that was the case because it looked like the Wormadam used PROTECT! Zeref growled at this. “Shit again!” [break] [break] Poseidon jumped behind the Wormadam using the move WATER GUN and this time it made a hit! Now it was the Wormadam’s turn! It decided to use BUG BITE and Poseidon had no time to dodge the attack! It shook it off before lifting up his chest once more. “Let’s pick up the pace BITE again!” Wormadam on the other hand wasn’t going to let it happened so it used PROTECT! “AGAIN!” Poseidon bites down hard on the Wormadam once more and would dodge the CONFUSION attack before Zeref cried out another attack. “WATER GUN!” This thing was starting to annoy Zeref with the constant spam of PROTECT however knowing this Poseidon ended up switching up his attack to use BITE right after protect went down then used WATER GUN causing the annoying ass Pokemon to faint on the ground! [break] [break] “Thank god!” Zeref sighed ignoring Parsifal’s glare since he knows darn well Parsifal is thinking he would’ve beaten it up by now. Zeref gave his partner a handshake before turning around to his Pokemon. “Alright we’re going home that’s enough training for the day. Lancelot and Malice you two will get your turn soon enough I promise you that.” Malice gave a slow nod and so did Lacelot.
