It wasn’t much too further on from where the Actor was that the floor began to quake, sending shockwaves from the ground. A group of tourists, much like the man himself, were fleeing the scene ahead of him. It was as if they were part of a sketch with no coordination what so ever.

Kichirou would squint, trying to find some more information on what was actually happening ahead of them. However, Cid was trying to pull the man away from the area as the bird Pokémon was already aware it was something you didn’t want to get caught in between. The man would stand still against the bird, ignoring its actual sage advice to flee the area.

”We’re not going anywhere right now, we only just got here!” Cid, being stubborn when he was obviously right, would instead mock his trainer some more.

“Anywhere right now! Anywhere right now!” He would try to inform with his mimicked voicings. instead the man would keep watching as the crowd ran past him and far away down the road.

”See, Cid?” Kichirou remarked, looking at the bird and waving a hand dismissively. “It was probably just for some shop-“ he paused before turning back to see that they were indeed running from something.

”R-r…. Rampaging Tauros!” He began to also run, but also Kichirou wasn’t the fastest of runners and that rampaging Tauros had already reached peak speed, charging down towards him and the rest of the townspeople. He would try to run down an alleyway but the Tauros was already too close to make a start.

”Sorry, Cid but I’m going to have use you for more than just camera work today buddy. Looks like we’re gonna have to fight.” The bird would nod before flapping off his owner to prepare for battle.

The Tauros would not stop, going in for a charge attack at Cid, who would just about get by with a scrape from the horns to his side. Not enough to do a lot of damage but some.

”Okay Cid, start with Uproar!” The little bird would bellow out a large burst of sound at the Tauros, who would squint a little at the sound, before going in for a tail whip. This would cause the little Chatot to be distracted by the metronome of the tail, and would begin to chirp in time with the move.

”H-huh? Chatot come on it’s just a tail ignore it!” Kichirou would call out but it was a little late as the Tauros would once again tackle at the Chatot, this time connecting fully and pushing the poor little Pokémon.

”At least he’s snapped out of it,” Kichirou murmured to himself, before calling out to his companion. ”Cid use chatter to distract this Tauros!”

Cid would shake itself out of the metronome hypnosis he had been placed in before flying up and around the Tauros to chatter and talk in different voices. The Tauros itself would try to follow around and make sense of the voicings before getting dizzy and losing its sense of direction.

”Nice! Now knock it down with a hyper voice!” To which the Pokemon would fly in front of the now confused and disoriented Tauros and would bellow out a huge voice, sending it flying back and down onto the floor. It would remain dazed for a moment before passing out from all the sounds and confusion.

”Alright! We pacified the Tauros! Better call someone to release this one outside of the city.” He would then go off from the location to notify the local authorities to find a way to contain and remove the Tauros from the town.

Kichirou would pat the little Chatot and feed it a bit of Pokémon food made for the flying types, and would then proceed to continue his journey through the city. Maybe this time he wouldn’t have to deal with another raging Pokémon like that.

It wasn’t too long before Kichirou decided to stop at an ice-cream stall for one delicious sweet treat for taking down such a reckless Pokémon in the street. It was much better to have this on the glorious summer day the town was experiencing too so it was going to help the Actor cool off before heading back to his hometown.

He would feed his Pokemon, Cid, a couple more bits of food before trailing down the path to begin eating his ice cream. The sweetness mixed with the cold did indeed send a relief through his body, though maybe a little too cold as he had to stop and nurse the brain freeze he was experiencing.

This delay in eating his ice cream meant that there was a chance for another Pokemon could steal his food and make a break for it. A Wingull was such a Pokemon that decided to swoop in, grab the cone with the ice-cream attached, and fly off.

”H-huh? My ice-cream!” Kichirou cried out before Cid gave chase, tailing after the bird high into the sky. It wasn’t even that important to the Actor but his little bird Pokemon was stubborn.

The Wingull would turn and see the Chatot chasing, before throwing the ice cream higher into the air and lauching a supersonic back at the Chatot, piercing the poor little bird’s ears and dazing it. The Wingull in return would catch the cone before seeing the cream fall out due to the impact.

”Ah! Cid get back here!” But it was no use as the bird flapped around in a disoriented state. The noise had confused his sound abilities and was making it hard to even fly straight. ”Come on snap out of it and use chatter back at it!”

It would take a number of attempts to shout at Chatot as the Wingull began to fly away before it snapped out of it and went after the bird. By that time the Wingull had completely eaten the cone and was ready for round 2.

It would begin with a water gun, knocking Chatot off to the side would then counter with the Chatter. However it proved to be less than effective aainst the Wingull as it didn’t become confused, instead trying to match the sound with a growl to intimidate Cid.

”Ignore it Cid, and use another Chatter, followed by an Uproar!” The bird could barely hear his trainer by now and would follow up the moves. He would start by chattering some more, finally causing some dazed state in the Wingull, before using an uproar to scare it away from the area.

”Good job!” Kichirou called out, before beckoning his Chatot back over to him. ”We showed it not to steal from us, right Cid?” Cid would coo slightly before resting from the fight. The injuries were starting to take a toll so they soon needed to head back to Kogane city.
