The family crest is said to be a symbol as though it represents a pack. To prove yourself to be a member of the family, you either have a tattoo of the crest upon you or a family crest. The latter is preferred, or rather required, that one carries a crest upon them to prove their worth. If one does not possess the emblem upon their person, they are not deemed a member of the family branch.

Viktor Von Klaussner doesn't see himself as an Emperor; whereas those who possess the status of Head would, he rather sees the seat as something troublesome. And as much as he'd like to pass it off to his children, he'd, too, just like any other family member, wish to pass it onward to one who is capable of running the family business. It is because of Viktor's status, battle prowess, and business smarts, it is why he serves as Head.

But with a recent scandal due to ALEC VON KLAUSS 's fabricated report. The five branches have seen this as an opportunity to strike. By sending their children to the Johto Region, it's unknown as to what each child's goal is in mind. But they were commanded by their parent(s) to partake in pursuing for the title of Top Coordinator or Champion. It's decided that whichever child were to acquire one of these titles that they'd qualify as next of kin for the Head of the family position. In doing so the Von Klaussner, should they lose, are deemed as "Branch"; whereas the status of "Main" will be transferred over to the next.

THE SIX FAMILIES SPECIALIZATION

01. The VON KLAUSSNER family specialize in business. With their multimillion dollar casino company. Their casinos have prospered throughout all the major cities of each region. Spanning from Johto and onward, Viktor, as the CEO, has been regarded as the most prosperous family. The reason why he was chosen was for this sole reason; whereas now, if his business is planned to be passed onto one of his children, the decision of becoming Head will not rely on fortune or status, but skill. Therefore with DAMIEN VON KLAUSS serving as the potential Head of all five branches and main, it is possible that they may gun for his child due to being the sole heir of his company and next of kin to inherit everything. Should DAMIEN VON KLAUSS not prove his worth, then there is a high chance that not only will the Von Klaussner lose their honor, but status as well.

02. The ZU MCQUEEN family specialize in the art of combat and Pokémon raising. A strict clan that puts their teachings and credo above personal gain, the McQueen name has become one of the biggest ( if not the biggest ) household name within the world of martial arts. Both marital artist and Pokémon alike travel far and wide to train under the McQueen tutelage and embrace the philosophy alongside the fighting styles they have to offer within their walls. The current head of the clan, Marcus McQueen has made quite the name for himself in both the world of Pokémon and martial arts—he is considered a Champion in both regards. The current heir to the family; Chancelor McQueen is destined to walk in the goliath sized footsteps his father has taken to get to where he is today. Unlike most of the Zu branches, Chancelor is actually the youngest out of his nine other siblings yet is the current heir with all eyes on him. The McQueen teachings are foreign to all the other families; they feel they have no reason to explain how things are done as long as the heir is up to the task bestowed upon them. That being said, currently, Chancelor holds the title with pride and is currently preparing himself to take over the compound and continue the legacy his father and forefathers forged.

03. The ZU APPLEGATE family specialize in dealing with agriculture and growing the best product possible. Though there main seller, the "Golden Apple", is what most know them for, they have become a staple through other Regions for their wide array of fruits and berries. Though this isn't the only reason the family has received fame. It's subsidiary purpose is to breed Pokemon. There product has shown to greatly influence a Pokemon's growth, and has also been proven to attract almost any type of Pokemon and make training them much easier. No one but the head of the family knows the secret to their agricultural formula, not even the son whose known as ATTICUS , though his real name is Atticus. The son of the head has chosen his own path, a path that his family does not agree with. But all Spade wanted was to be free, however the revelation that whoever became Champion first would rule the rest of the families made it an even easier decision for him to chase that spot

04. The ZU ANDERSON, while not specializing in anything, the Anderson family seeks to break the stigma of bad luck having followed the youngest von Klaussner out of Johto. Having gone to Hoenn to follow her heart and emotions over everything else, things seemed normal for her family... for a while. That was until bad luck eventually followed the members of her family. With her husband having lost too many potential investments due to unlucky decisions as well as her own passing several years ago, the current head of the Anderson family has comes to the Johto region in an attempt to not only escape the bad luck that's plaguing what's left of their family, but to settle unfinished business on their mother's behalf.


05. The ZU LEE The 'defunt' ZU LEE family were commonly referred to as the 'jacks of all trades, and the masters of none'. The former head's specializations varied, for he fostered a great many talents yet never once sought to sharpen nor adopt a particular one while forgoing others. It was because of this that this particular branch garnered little respect, and were easily dismissed once the clan head decided to adopt his children as oppossed to having his own and securing his legacy through the usual means. Once their connection was promptly severed with the families, the disowned branch kept to themselves whilst raising their children in a humble setting. They were informed of their place within the families, for while they were not connected by blood, they were bound by law and by name to those whom had sought to disown and forget. Among the two whom were taken in by the Zu Lee family, the youngest daughter known as ASHLEY LEE made the decision to shoulder the burden. She carries the mark of the crest and seeks to regain her family's lost honor by conquering the numerous challenges set forth by the league.
