Hands clasp behind her, the brunette almost bounced down the streets of Goldenrod. The pep in her step was obvious, her high ponytail bouncing in her wake like an excited puppy. "Oh, stop complaining. You know as well as I do that crowds suck. We can find a better place to have a good time!" the girl chirped happily to her companion. She would be not be deterred. The bar they had initially gone to had been overrun with their fellow Virus members. As much as she had been a part of the organization for a year, she felt as if she only half belonged there. In truth, she followed the highest bidder. Right now it was Virus, but tomorrow - who knows? Viviane tried to not be held down to one particular place for long. Such was her wandering ways.

Of course, there was always one constant since her release from prison. Vic was always at her side, which was something she was grateful for. He kept her steady when her personality dictated the opposite. They balanced each other quite nicely. His grumpy attitude contrasted with her peppy one, but it always seemed to work in their favor.

At her feet, Din - her Aron - pranced happily. He had a sunny disposition he picked up from his trainer. The two were inseparable. Viviane with her nose behind a computer screen, her pokemon sleeping at her feet or in her lap. He had a bad habit of trying to walk across her desk area when he wanted attention, but with a face that cute she could hardly be upset. As long as he never messed anything up, she wouldn't scold him. Not harshly, at least.

"You know very well it will be fun. You know what's not fun?" She turned to walk backwards now, facing him with her grumpy face for emphasis. "Being packed into a stinky bar like sardines. Especially with a bunch of our... Coworkers." Sticking her tongue out briefly, she turned back around and continued walking. He mentioned bailing her out, and she smiled to herself. If that wasn't the Vic she'd grown to know... Always coming to her rescue.

They had been assigned to each other as part of a mission during her first run-in with Virus. It had been a simple one, but a lookout with capable skill had been required. So, naturally, they sent Vic with the woman as a beefier watch dog while she 'did her thing'. It had been an in-and-out mission, they hadn't even been seen, but after that the two were usually found causing havoc together. Or rather, Viviane caused the havoc. Victor made sure she didn't get herself killed in the process. Or cause too much property damage. Or injure innocent by-standards. There were times with Viv was like a child, and Victor her disgruntled parent. As for Virus, they were just glad someone had figured out how to curb her knack for causing chaos.

for every ounce of enthusiasm that erupted from vivi's person came an equal amount of apathy. "uh huh." it seeps into his voice and diction. he's a man of few words with a small tolerance for her shenanigans. that's why he's her omega, the end to everything she starts. tonight's an exception, one that victor would painstaking learn was worse than usual - not because of the events that are to unfold, but rather the absence of anything noteworthy.

"you're one of those co-worker," he states plainly. he doesn't need to emphasize her hypocrisy. she'll probably ignore him, as usual. it only serves to kill the conversation, bringing their nightly stroll to a momentary silence. all that changes when two pokemon stumble out and into the open. the two normal types look at the trainers and then they're pokemon, sizing them up before ultimately ignoring them. doesn't look like either of them have any food, so neither pokemon care.
