[attr="class","textie"]Aiden would feel himself shiver where he stood. He just didn't enjoy the fact that he would have to battle Pokémon in order to get closer to them. Sighing, he would look at Lily as she laid peacefully in his arms, content with how the day was going. She was able to relax within his arms and could even catch up on sleep if she really wanted to. However, it seems that this wasn't meant to be considering the fact that her ears perked up when she heard some noise in the distance. It was rustling that came from the tall grass that was to the right of the duo, so she leaped out of Aiden's arms and onto the grassy terrain, ready to face whatever showed up. An unusual resolve appeared in Aiden's face as he was ready to fight whatever decided to come there way. Waddling out from the shadows, Lotad would emerge and look at the pair, somewhat casually. It didn't really seem to care that the pair was there and was simply trying to walk around the area. Aiden looked at the Pokémon somewhat incredulously, wondering if it even felt threatened. However, Lily was annoyed by this development unlike her trainer. Letting out a hiss, the Kitten Pokémon would ignore her trainer as he said, "Lily, let's just look for some other Pokémon. This one isn't bugging us." Aiden's Skitty would proceed to make her way over to the unsuspecting Lotad, causing the brunette to sigh. "Or we can do it your way." Jogging quickly behind her, Aiden would keep his eye on his partner to make sure she didn't cause too much ruckus.

Lily would prepare to leap up in the air, as she pounced towards the Lotad. The Water Weed Pokémon would finally turn it's glance to it's left and see the approaching Skitty. Letting out somewhat of a fearful cry, the Lotad would launch itself to meet with the Skitty in the air. So, this was how it used Astonish. Luckily for Aiden and unluckily for the Lotad, Astonish is a Ghost Type move so it didn't faze Lily whatsoever. The Kitten Pokémon would let out a confident cry, happy that her opponent's attack was worthless as she slammed her tail into the ground in front of the Lotad. The impact caused the Water Weed Pokémon to flinch, leading the Skitty to show a smirk on her small face. Aiden would smile at the same as his Skitty as he let out one more command. "Alright, Lily, Show 'em what you're made of!" Lily let out an meow of understanding as she twirled on two of her legs. Stopping in place to strike a pose, Lily would meow endearingly towards the Lotad, trying to Attract it's attention. The Lotad fell for this completely. Hearts appeared to cloud it's vision as he was unable to move due to being immobilized by love. Lily smirked as Aiden let out a final command, "Alright, Lily, use Double Slap!" The Kitten Pokémon would let out a sound of eagerness as she pounced towards the Water Weed Pokémon. Turning so that her tail faced the Pokémon, she'd swing her tail as hard as she could for about ten slaps, meaning the attack hit 5 times. Preparing his Poké Ball, Aiden would turn to glance at Lily and the Lotad only to see the fact that the Lotad had been completely beaten and ran away. Scratching the back of his head, Aiden would walk over to Lily not really mad because he didn't expect the fact they would beat the Lotad. Kneeling down to his partner, Aiden would smile as he said, "Okay since that went in another way than expected, let's go look for more friends okay?" The Skitty would let out an agreeing meow as she leaped onto his shoulder once again. Chuckling, Aiden would walk to the grass, ready for whatever was next as long as he had Lily nearby.

[attr="class","textie"]Aiden would pull an Oran Berry out of his bag as he walked through tall grass. Looking at Lily who eyes were entranced by the berry, he would chuckle as he pat her head before stating. "I'm gonna keep this on me just in case anything goes wrong." Smiling at the Berry, the brunette would hear his partner let out a sigh as she got more comfortable on his shoulder, wanting a bite of the Berry that her trainer was basically taunting her with. Listening to the sounds of nature, the duo would continue walking for a good couple of minutes until they heard the sound of a river flowing. Jogging slightly to make it past the brush, Aiden's eyes would be met with a crystal blue stream of water that was practically shimmering non stop. Looking somewhat excited the young man would let Lily onto the floor as the approached the edge of the river. Ah, it was rather refreshing to the touch. Aiden placed his hand in the water, enjoying the cold chill. Either way, it was a nice touch considering how hot everything around them was. Lily would place her two front paws in the water, enjoying the water which was rather unusual for a Skitty. Most of the time, Aiden saw videos of Skitty who were super adamant about not going in a pool but that was never the case of Lily. She loved the water and even right now, was extremely happy that she could stand in the river completely without being washed away by the current. Smiling, Aiden would move his hand to pet her until they heard the sound of something rising up from under the water. Standing up in an upright position, Lily would brace herself in an offensive position facing the source of the sound.

With a rather large quack, a Psyduck surfaced from diving. It was looking for food most likely and they showed up while it was underneath. When it laid it's eyes on Lily, he seemed to glare right at her. Did this Psyduck not like Skitty in particular or was it just with Lily. Either way, it wouldn't make a good comrade for them if it didn't like her and it probably wasn't going to relent because at this very moment, it looked ready to attack. Acting almost independently from her trainer, Aiden wouldn't need to say a word before breaking to his usual tactics. The Skitty would hop in the air and twirl, slamming her weight into the shallow water. The impact would cause the Psyduck to break it's glare and fall on its behind due to the surprise. The Fake Out had worked successfully in the end, causing the Duck Pokémon to flinch. Aiden would smile as he said, "Show 'em your appeal, Lily!" The Skitty would let out a meow of understanding as she winked at the Psyduck, showing off as much charm as she could possibly manage. As much as the Psyduck tried to resist, it couldn't resist being Attracted to the Kitten Pokémon before it. Hearts seem to fill it's vision as it was completely immobilized by love. A lot of things seemed to be working in their favour today. Smiling, Aiden would finish it off by saying, "Alright, finish it off with Feint Attack!" Approaching the Psyduck who couldn't take his eyes off of Lily, the Skitty would spin with a little flourish before hitting the Pokémon in the torso as hard as she could manage with her tail. The hit seemed to cause the Psyduck's heart to shatter as it was immediately slapped out of love from this action. A critical hit, physically and emotionally. That poor Psyduck. But either way, it didn't like Lily before using Attract so it wasn't going to get caught if it didn't get along with his partner. He had enough fighting in his life so he needed to make sure at the very least his team didn't fight among each other.

Lily would run back to her trainer, hopping into his arms as he let out a cry to stop her. "Hey! You're wet. Stay on the ground to dry off for now okay?" The Skitty would look somewhat annoyed as she obediently hopped off her trainer. Sitting in place, she'd look at him somewhat annoyed. Laughing to himself, Aiden would pet her on the head as he opened his hand to reveal the Oran Berry. Letting her eat out of his palm, Aiden would think. Okay. She can probably manage one more fight, what else could be lingering around here though. Looking around somewhat intently, Aiden would survey the rather gorgeous scenery as he wondered what else he could manage to find that wasn't too far so he didn't risk getting lost.

[attr="class","textie"]Apparently they wouldn't have to go that far to find something, however the Pokémon that made eye contact with Aiden seemed to almost hate his guts almost instantaneously. The scowl on the usually depicted as happy Corsola's face seemed to have a glare similar to his sister's whenever she had a bad night's sleep. Aiden would sigh rather loudly as the Skitty that was happy in his arms glared at the aquatic Pokémon, who met it's glare with it's own. It was not relenting and extremely ready to fight, as evidenced by how it hopped onto land in order to be closer to the duo. However, as a result of the Rock typing that the Coral Pokémon had, they had to be rather careful with what they were doing because most of Lily's move were rendered ineffective because of their Normal typing. However, that only meant that this would take a little bit longer than it usually did. Aiden would let himself smirk because even with the type disadvantage, he knew that he would take this victory with ease. Lily would match his determination by almost taunting the creature by hissing at it. The Corsola returned the sentiment with a rather loud cry of it's own as Aiden had a sneaking suspicion he wouldn't be able to rely on Attract in this case unlike the rest of them. The anger between the two Pokémon didn't feel the same as how there was anger between Lily and the Psyduck. Maybe the Corsola actually liked the Psyduck and technically Skitty just beat up it's friend after breaking it's heart because of using Attract. It was a little fair in this case to hold a grudge probably. Either way, no bad blood within his party so it'd be in his best interest to take care of this sooner rather than later. Smirking, Aiden would pet Lily as he prepared to give his first order.

Looking at the Corsola who seemed to be completely insistent with giving the biggest stink eye possible to the duo, Aiden would look at Lily's curious glance at her Trainer as he whispered to her, "Okay, let's keep up the trend. Use Fake Out." Lily would nod, the smile on her face affirming the belief that she had in her Trainer for making smart battling choices. Leaping up into the air, Lily would go towards the angry Coral Pokémon and slam her tail on the ground in front of it. The hardened gaze would easily soften to one of surprise as the Corsola fell backwards from flinching a little bit too hard. Aiden would smile as he followed up, "Alright, use Play Rough!" A rather new addition to Lily's moveset, but they have been practicing this move for months and after the last two battles, Aiden was confident that she'd manage to do this. A cartoonish dust cloud would be kicked up at Lily was basically playing with Corsola with reckless abandon, injuring the creature in the process. The Corsola cried out in pain as Aiden winced slightly. He felt bad for battling but it couldn't be helped as a result of this. Sighing, Aiden would notice as the Corsola braced itself before launching in the direction of Lily. The Kitten Pokémon wasn't able to get out the way and had to get hit by the Tackle head on. However, because of the Play Rough the attack was weaker than how it usually should be. Smirking, Aiden would say, "Okay! Finish it off with one more Play Rough!" The cartoonish dust cloud would be kicked up once again and when it faded, the Corsola laid on the ground knocked out. Lily would run over to Aiden and jump into his arms. Petting the Kitten Pokémon, Aiden would walk back towards the nearest town. They didn't get any new pals but either way, at least they came out stronger as a result of this.
