[attr="class","textie"] As Isabella and the Mawile had continued along their way through the safari, she wasn't so sure what to expect in here. She knew it was home to a number of different pokemon and the chance to even meet them was something she didn't really wanna pass up, but she didn't want to sit back and pass up the opportunity to catch something that could be beneficial to everything. Besides, this was the best way to get to know her Mawile better so it all had worked out in the end! Or at least she had hoped it would have. "I have one question to ask, Mawile.. well two." She looked down toward the Mawile as they walked, with him looking back up to her wondeering what it was that she could wanna ask. "I.. I don't know, it might be more than that, but I hope.. it's not a bother for you. A-Anyway... Do, you still have those feelings for Teddy that I know you had before?" From the question alone, the little steel Pokemon flushed red in the face, shaking his head and arms back and forth from side-to-side, trying to deny it. Getting a rather big laugh from Isabella had made him stop though, seeing as how she didn't seem to be bothered by any of it. "It's ok, you don't have to really tell me. We don't know one another that well yet. But soon we will, I hope! That's why I wanted to bring you with-" She paused as her foot caught on something. It brought both their attention down where she had seen a Pokeball looking object on the ground, but way to big to be one. [break][break]

Suddenly, an almost mechanical sound of "Voltorb" echoed from it and the static shocking bolts began to spark around it. Reacting fast, Mawile used its larger mouth to grab the Voltorb and pull it away from the injured blonde before letting out a small discharge of elecricity. It only made Mawile flinch a little before he threw it out of his mouth and took in a deep breath. The other mouth began to open and the steel pokemon swung it around, gathering air around that had begun to sparkle and turn pink. The sight of a lot to behold for someone who'd never seen a move like such, and then he directed the air toward the Voltorb, striking it and making it roll backward. It wasn't done though, as it began to roll faster and faster as it closed in and ran into Mawile. But the maw Pokemon wasn't done. Growling in anger holding onto the Voltorb, he picked it up and swung back around, biting into the Voltorb as it cried out in pain. Striking a weak point in the point, he followed it up with slamming the Voltorb into the ground and then releasing his grip, letting it roll out of his larger maw, unconscious. "Woah! Mawile that move you did was so pretty! I know you like to fight and all, but if we worked hard enough, could I ask you to help be my contest buddy!? You, Snorut, and Sakura would make really really great choices with moves as cute as that one!" She was praising the fairy type, pulling out a book and starting to slip through to a pink labeled tab. "Ok, so that move was.. 'Fairy Wind', right?" She looked up from the book as he nodded. "Alright! Well, lets wait on that offer and give it some time. I had other important things to talk about... But you keep up that tough fighting and I can whip you up this special Pokeblock chowder I used to feed.. t-to.. T-Teddy..." Her hands started to shake a little, feeling slightly fearful in having just brought up his name, which made her flinch a little from an aching of her wound.

[attr="class","textie"] The two had continued along the Safari in a bit of silence. Honestly, even though she were asking a Pokemon instead of a person, it was still a nerve wracking and almost choking feeling to try and keep herself together while asking. Granted, this Mawile was super supportive of her and helpful and it did mean a lot to her to have someone like that after all was said and done, she couldn't really see her using him as a sort of psychiatrist for her problems. At the same time, she didn't like to keep her feelings bottled up, and her lashing out at Vivian was surely proof that such a thing could happen. Another of those "blessing and curse" type of things she had about her. "Say, Mawile..." She looked around, trying to spot more Pokemon around them for a moment before she took her eyes off the road towards the steel type Pokemon whom looked up to her curiously. "Are you interested in a nickname? You know, like that Bayleef was named Artemis, Zeref's Growlithe was Persifal. Would you like me to give you one?" It didn't come at an odd request, and he even realized that she skipped over mentioning the Teddiursa- or rather the Ursaring nicknamed Teddy. The Mawile put a hand to his chin to think, wondering if he would even like the idea of a nickname. "Wile!" He cried out suddenly in a rather eager tone. Smiling, Isabella gave a nod and tried to think of something to fit him. "There's a plethora of choices, it's really hard to think of what you would like that fits you."[break][break]

Contemplations continued on between the two as they fished around their heads for only a moment until a cracking sound made them both stop. The looked down in sync to Mawiles foot as he'd stepped on an egg... but the egg seemed to go with several others. Several angry others. "Cuuuute!!" It yelled angrily, firing off seeds quick as bullets and hitting both Isabella and Mawile. The two began to run as they were chased down by the bullet seed attack. "THIS IS ANYTHING BUT CUTE!!" She protested, only having heard about half of their name, the Exeggcute stopped for a moment, which gave both of them a chance to catch their breath. Unfortunately, the sudden running made the coordinator clutch her side and collapse onto her knees, huffing to keep from being in dire pain. "I-I guess running is out of my list of exercises still." She tried to laugh it off, but she only clenched harder from it and the Mawile got angry. Turning his attention to the egg Pokemon, he glared at them before he lashed out, gripping them up quickly with a bite and holding them in his maw. The pokemon tried to cause an upraor with loud noises, but it barely effected him as he bit down again and again before throwing them aside and scoffing them off like nothing. He knew his moves hurt, especially for type advantages, so the likelihood they would come back was little to none. "Ya know.. Ares is something I keep coming back to, but I wanna do.. ow.. something more.. unique. So, if I made it up, is that ok?" He was rather astounded that she jumped conversation back as though nothing happened, but the Mawile shrugged and chuckled, nodding in approval. "How.. does Sangoran sound? Sango for short!" A nickname in a nickname? It was something to think about for sure to this Mawile, but he smiled and nodded. "Great! Wanna take a break for a moment? There's some rocks up ahead by that little river. We can sit and recover." She pointed in a direction not far from them and he nodded, helping her up to her feet before they would begin to slowly make their way over.

[attr="class","textie"] More cautious than ever, Isabella and her newly nicknamed Mawile had carefully made their way over to the rocks that the injured girl had wanted to rest at. Of course, it was anyones guess what could be around there, but they wouldn't know until they got there. And besides, the larger rocks made for great looking seats, so it wouldn't be a far stretch to allow them the chance to just relax and enjoy themselves a little but until it was over with. It however didn't really take long until they were safely at the rocky riverside. There sat a somewhat small riverbank and a small sized waterfall there. As Isabella slowly got to her seat with the help of Sango, she lifted her clothing up enough to look at her bandaging and then bit her lip looking at it. The bandages were starting to appear like they were being stained with a reopened wound and she could only sigh. "I'm sorry. It's my fault it got like this... Oh boy.. I'll be lucky if mother lets me go on that little u-uh.. meet up with Zeref." She blushed a little, which the Mawile gave a coy grin and spoke up. "Maw Mawile~" What made it clear was the wink he gave at the end before giggling like a gossiping school girl. In turn, the small blonde flushed dark red. "I-It is not a date! D-Don't be absurd, y-you.. you.. OH JUST HUSH, YOU!" Now pouting like a child, she turned her head away toward the waterfall where something was blanketed behind it. [break][break]

Bursting through the rushing water, a Pokemon flew through the air and landed on the rocks not far away with fierce precision and began to thrust tiny fists out, moving about in a fashion that Isabella thought were dance moves at first, until the action of the hands got her leaning towards a fighting style. "Hey! You're technique is really in depth! The foortwork needs a slight bit of work tho-" She stopped as this strange Pokemon turned its eyes at the two. Its eyes scanned the two until she had noticed the blonde human holding her shirt up still to show the wrapped abdomen as well as her slightly stained bandages. Pouncing over rock after rock, it stopped by the two and raised its hands up, showing it came by with no intent to harm and then reached over. Curious, the coordinator let this go despite the rather big worrying feeling Mawile had until it placed its hands on the front of her stomach, then slowly bringing them over to the area it knew was bleeding. Her body flinched and tensed, but the Pokemon reacted in a calm manner, moving their hands away for a moment and looking up. "Foo?" It asked, looking to them both each once. "Wile. Mawile!" The two seemed to have a little conversation that she could assume was the explanation of how the injury occurred. This strange Pokemon, Mienfoo, as she picked up hearing it mentioned in conversation had looked up to Isabella, her eyes narrowed and nodding. "You.. don't have to worry about me, if that is you concern, Mienfoo. But, would you be interested in some practice? I'm a dancer and would LOVE to help improve that stance! I know battling and dancing are very different, but a core stance sets one up for a balanced routine and a sturdy defense and extra power packed in those punches!" She had taken some tips from others, books, videos. Anything she could get her hands on to know what was going on and how things could be done and help make her a better trainer.[break][break]

The wild Pokemon smiled and nodded to her challenge, and Sangoran was prepped and eager to help! Knowing the type differences, Sango evened out against fighting types, which by the way this Mienfoo had been practicing and training, she could guess would have a few. But that was fine! He had a type advantage in his moves and she wouldn't stop him from having some fun. The two took very different stances and raising a hand, she swung it down as though she were playing an official to a fight. "Begin! Sango, start off with bite!" She called out. As the Mawile prepped to launch his attack, the Mienfoo appeared almost instantly and gave a quick strike of her palm on his head, making him flinch and shake his head. "Woah, you're a fast one! That was cool though! But it won't work twice, will it buddy!" Psyching up both of them, she giggled as the Mawile opened its massive maw for another Bite, though this pokemon was ready. It detected the move ready and gave a rather agile backflip to dodge, but Isabella smirked in knowing that type of move would surely give her an opening. "Perfect! Fairy Wind!" She cheerfully called out. An exhale of air from the maw brought about a gust of wind that quickly had turned a pink color and blew right for the Mienfoo. As this wild pokemon landed on their feet, it landed just barely off its right leg from a small decline of a hill. Unable to react, the gust of Fairy Wind struck directly into the Mienfoo and sent it back against a rock where it fell down, rubbing its back and head a little. "The battlefield is your stage, Mienfoo! You have to gauge your stages dimensions, how close you are to the curtains or close to the edge of the stage by the audience! But you did awesome to dodge! And Sango, you're doing amazing!" Honestly, she was having the time of her life watching. This battle alone made her motivated again. What fears she had were simply washed away in the moment. A fire of passion to push to recovery and to her first contest started with this Mienfoo and Mawile! These two were sparks to light a dim flame that was close to becoming extinguished.[break][break]

"Hey, you two, come over real quick." Motioning for them to come toward her, Isabella pulled out a Pokeball from her bag and opened it up to its larger form, but held it in her hand. "You were both amazing, but I want you to come with us, Mienfoo! You two helped me see what I need to do to get better, and I want to return that favor! Can we help one another be the best we can be?" Holding the ball out, the Mienfoo looked to Isabella, then over to Sangoran. It looked down then to the pokeball and back to Mawile. He nodded with a smile, holding up his arm like he was flexing his muscles with a grin on his face. The small pokemon smiled and nodded in return, pushing the button on the empty ball and being pulled into the Pokeball. It then began to shake in her hand, awaiting to see if she would then have a final decision if she stayed.

[attr="class","textie"] Each shake brought her a little more tense feeling until the ball made a sound that she'd gotten used to hearing. She'd made another friend, and this time this friend was a motivator to her. It almost felt like she'd turned a new page. "I appreciate you trusting me, Mienfoo. I promise I'll do my best for all of us, alright?" She spoke to the ball, smiling with a newfound confidence that Sangoran could easily see was on her face. He'd made a new friend too, but to see the way Isabella had turned around from her event with Teddy to turning it into a way to grow was a boost for him too. Until Teddy was back to the cute little bear that he'd grown a crush for, Sango would act in his place and protect her. Even after it would happen, someone would have to look out for that bears well being too. A protector of all! That's what he would go by until he didn't need to anymore, or if that were even possible. [break][break]

Sango hopped up onto the rock next to his trainer and pulled up her shirt a little to inspect her bandages. The Mawile saw no real change in the shade of the bandages, so the bleeding she might have had stopped. But he also knew that she couldn't be out for much longer. She had to get home and get those changed as soon as possible... So why was she still here? She'd gotten the motivation that she might have truly wanted, so the push to go home had to happen soon, right? Instead, she was lost in a daydream, overlooking the riverbank as a Squirtle popped up from under the water, shaking water off of his arms, legs, head, and shell. The Squirtle had climbed up onto the rocks and made his way over while the blonde and her current pokemon watched confused as it got over to their rock and simply plopped itself down, pushing Isabella aside almost. "Umm.. Excuse us, but we were using this rock. Is there any chance we could ask you to move to another rock, please?" She followed her kind request up with a smile, tender at that. The water pokemon opened its eyes, saw the girl, then sprayed a water gun in her face, soaking her head and blonde hair completely. Jumping up, she shook her head out and pulled out a small towel to wipe her clothes and face with. "Aren't you a rude little brat! I was being nice too!" She said with a mild annoyance. The Squirtle's cheeks puffed up quickly and in a quick reaction, Isabella opened her parasol and the water gun struck it and repelled around her everywhere.[break][break]

Mawile acted fast, cracking the Squirtle in the face with a simple punch to knock it off from blasting water at his trainer. Suddenly, his maw grew wide and he bit down on the water pokemon's head, gripping tightly while it flailed around to get free. Setting down her parasol, she witnessed the Mawile swing the Squirtle away into a rock head first, bouncing off before being gripped up in a second bite and slammed into the rock they stood on. Finally, the steel pokemon gathered together a lashing gust of Fairy wind and hit the Squirtle past Isabella where it rolled on its back and laid there unconscious. "O-Oh my... You didn't have to go that hard on it... You know how I feel about ill tempers, Sango..." She lightly scolded him, but placed a hand on his head and petted him a couple times. "But I know why you did it, so I won't berate you anymore on this." With a nod, Isabella took her next Safari ball and threw it at the Squirtle, pulling it too into the Pokeball and wondering if the Pokemon would stay, or want to flee.

[attr="class","textie"] It seemed cleared to her that her Safari ball was successful in catching the rather rude little turtle pokemon. Letting out a small sigh as she ran her hand along her still wet hair, then shaking out the parasol of the water the newly caught Pokemon had previously soaked it with, she walked over to the ball and picked it up. "I can't wait to get to know you, little one." She spoke softly, minimizing the size of the ball to store it away. The blonde let out a yawn and tried to refrain from stretching as not to hurt herself again, but it was too little too late by the time she remembered... Mainly since the girl had just felt a sharp amount of continuous pain in her side. Flinching from the sensation of pain, she grasped at her side and then laughed, which only made the Mawile sigh and shake his head. His worry was starting to get to him, but more so that he wasn't really trying to be too overbearing on his trainer and seem like was trying to force her to do anything even it if was the right call.

Something caught his attention in a small patch of rustling grass. Tending to her wound, Isabella had failed to notice the amorphous Pokemon in the distance, but it had watched on from afar before it became clear to Sangoran what he would have to do. Literally leaping into action, the Mawile gripped up this Pokemon in its maw and flung it out of the grass toward the rocks, only following right up with a Fairy Wind. The spectacle surprised the girl, looking on as a pink blob like pokemon kinda splattered in front of her and wiggling around, it was kind of cute. "Surprise..?" She tossed her last ball onto the distracted Ditto, shrugging at her attempts to catch it, if it even had the desire to. Mawile stoof prepped in a battle stance, ready to catch it if it stayed in. If it had, Isabella would pick up this Pokeball, walking over and holding an arm out to let her companion take it with his own, walking off in a careful manner.
