[attr="class","matcha4"]Returning to trekking through the cave system, the blonde flashed the light towards the right and caught sight of a figure that seemed like it could be a Pokemon! Almost instantly, he threw Azurill's pokeball out to battle, moving his flashlight to get a better look at what there was. There hovered a Zubat, quickly pulling out his Pokedex, he took a moment to check out what it was capable.[break][break]

'It has no eyeballs, so it can’t see. It checks its surroundings via the ultrasonic waves it emits from its mouth.'[break][break]

Flapping its wings, the Zubat gave out a menacing sound. Azurill instantly puffed up in anger, throwing eye daggers in the direction of the Zubat.Jax™ grimaced for a moment, almost instantly calling the Azurill back into her Pokeball. A very distinct unhappy sound coming from the Pokemon as she flashed into light and returned back to her ball. Switching out for Leafy, he sent that Pokemon out next to battle against the Zubat. As much as he wanted to get Azurill stronger, he knew that letting her battle that Zubat would just be the end of her. So he'd just have to let Leafy take the brunt of things.[break][break]

The bulbasaur crouched low to the ground the moment it materialized, Zubat sent out a glow of green energy and licked the air. Sapping a little bit of health from Leafy, but the attack didn't seem to really phase him much. Pointing in the direction of the Zubat, Jax™ quickly shouted a command. "Quick, Leafy, sleep powder!"[break][break]

Jumping forward, the Pokemon gave a burst of sleep-inducing dust towards the Zubat. Slowly the wings of the cave Pokemon began to slow down as it limply fell to the ground in a slumber. Pumping his fist at the excitement of getting that hit, he pointed once more as he gave the command out. "Okay, Leafy, lets hit it with a some seed bombs!"[break][break]

Nodding his head, the Bulbasaur began throwing its onslaught of seed bombs towards the sleeping Zubat. Hitting it once, the Zubat promptly woke itself up to shake its head gasping at the explosion of the seed before getting hit once more by the seed for the second time. Flying back up in the air, it takes the chance to throw another set of green energy on Leafy, causing the bulbasaur to wince a little at the attack. With a fire burning in his eyes, Leafy once again set out to throw a seed bomb towards the Zubat. Watching the seed explode, with a little dust from the hit, a ray of supersonic sound rushes out towards Leafy to cause it to wobble in slight confusion.[break][break]

"Oh no! Leafy, are you okay? Come on buddy, you can do it. Don't let that Zubat take you out!" he hollered in encouragement towards the bulbasaur. Taking a step forward in wobble stilts, the Pokemon sadly rammed its head right into a rock laying on the ground. Hurting him lightly on the head from the contact as the Zubat once again threw a sonicwave at the Bulbasaur, however that didn't seem to really do much to the already confused Pokemon.[break][break]

"Leafy! Concentrate, you can do this. I believe in you." he spoke with conviction, hands balled into fists at his side as he watched in anticipation. Stumbling forward towards the side, the Bulbasaur shook his head once and centered his attention towards the Zubat. Giving quick aim of his seed bomb, he sent it out towards the opposing Pokemon. Watching the seed sail through the air, Jax™ throat seemed to clog up as he watched it finally come into contact with the Zubat. As dust exploded from contact, the flying pokemon plummeted straight for the ground. As it didn't get back up from its spot, Jax™ instantly jumped into the air as he ran towards his Bulbasaur.[break][break]

"Leafy! Way to go man! You da best!" he cheered, picking up the slightly injured pokemon. Pulling out a potion from his bag, he held
carefully onto the Pokemon as he gave it a few sprays of refreshment. Eyelids closed on the Pokemon as it began to just soak up the spay like a thirsty leaf on a raining day. The bulbasaur let out a happy noise, letting vine from its back to pat Jax™ lightly on the arm. Laughing at the gesture given by the Pokemon, he sat the creature down to return him back to its ball. Flash light at the ready, he grinned and began walking forward more.[break][break]
