Taking a nice walk down Route 35 seemed like the best idea he had in months! Why did it take him so long to come up with an amazing plan such as this? Well whatever the case maybe, at least he has his trustworthy partner by his side right? Zeref would look down at his Growlithe but only to realize his partner in crime was playfully chasing after a Butterfree. The orange hair male couldn't help but to sigh underneath his breath at this silly sight. "Parsifal get over here!" He called out to her but it doesn’t look like that’s going to be happening anytime soon!

The fire pup was too busy playing around trying to catch the poor bug like Pokemon as if it was a cat playing with a mouse. After realizing this situation, Zeref couldn’t help but to place a smirk on his face. He lifted up his hands as he slowly made his way towards them. After a few seconds, the male would dive down to catch the Pokemon however in the end it looks like all he caught was nothing but grass and dirt! Lifting up his head, the male shook off the dirt and grass from his face before sighing underneath his breath. “Well that was embarrassing for a Ranger like myself." He said. "Let’s rewind and try this again but this time I’ll catch it!"

With that being said, he got back up on his feet and went at it again but this time he was able to catch his Pokemon red handed! He lifted up his Growlithe in the air as if he was raising Simba from the Lion King! Oh shit maybe he should’ve named it Simba instead of Parsifal ah well! “I’ve caught you my little prankster!” Zeref would say before placing the little guy right in front of him. “My goodness do you know how hard it is to catch you?” All he got was a tail wag and this made Zeref sigh underneath his breath. “And this is why I have a hard time working as a part time bodyguard my goodness. Anyways we better work on our fighting style for a bit. I know I’m not heavily into battling but a Ranger gotta do what a Ranger gotta do. You got me partner?” Right when he said this, his partner ran away causing Zeref to gasp at this sight. “PARSIFAL COME BACK! I’m a Ranger I shouldn’t be having trouble with you! Parsifal don’t do this to me!” Oh boy this is going to be fun!

Zeref would call out to his buddy wishing darn well his partner would listen to him for a change. Normally Parsifal acts this way when they’re alone however, whenever they’re around others he listens to him with no problem! Zeref can’t help but wonder why his partner acts likes this at times. The ranger wasn’t certain not unless his partner is just playing with him. Now thinking about it, the Growlithe’s tail was wagging making Zeref realize his Pokemon is enjoying its time being chased by its trainer. Zeref couldn’t help but to place a smile on his face after realizing this however at the same time he knows there’s a time and place to have fun. Although he doesn’t mind having fun once in awhile, they should work on their battling techniques so they can get stronger during the long run. Eh for now it’s time to play with Parsifal for a bit so he can get him into a fighting like spirit.

It was all going according to plan, Zeref would pretend to miss catching his partner and would continue chasing him around the area until suddenly a wild Pokemon appeared! Parsifal crashed landed right into the Electrike while Zeref managed to grab ahold of his Pokemon before the electric dog creature tried to use tackle against Parsifal. “Whoops sorry about that.” He said but it doesn’t look like his apology is going to tame the little guy and with that being said, Zeref ended up dodging it’s 2nd tackle and when he did the Ranger landed face plant onto the ground while Parsifal landed on all four paws. “I knew you were part cat Parsifal!” He moaned. “We need to calm the Electrike down I need you to use Bite but be careful!”

If only it was that easy since the pupper was already rushing towards the Electrike and when the Electrike tried to use tackle once more, Parsifal was ready for it! The Growlithe jumped to the side to dodge the attack then bite down onto the electric dog like Pokemon! Zeref got to his feet while giving a slow nod at this sight. “Good job buddy keep it up! Try using bite one more time!” Another bite kicked in and the Pokemon fainted right then and there! Zeref gave his Growlithe a high five before walking over to the electrike type Pokemon patting it on the head. “Sorry about that buddy I didn’t mean to scare you. Are you going to be all right? Man I wished I had a berry on me to give you.” Before he had the chance to check the Pokemon fled causing Zeref to sigh underneath his breath. “Whoops my bad. Well good job Parsifal you won your first battle! How does that make you feel?” All he got for his response was Parsifal chasing his tail and yet Zeref couldn’t help but to facepalm at this. “Well that’s just great!

In all honesty Zeref doesn’t know what is worse, going through Ranger school or watching his Pokemon chase it’s tail. He gets it Growlithe is a dog type Pokemon but like could it not chase it’s tail during the middle of training? This is rather embarrassing and he sure hopes another Ranger doesn’t happen to stop by and be like ‘What the heck is it doing?’ that would make him curl in a ball and never come out of his damn corner! Zeref shook his head at this thought before slowly bending to his knees and petting his partner on the head. “Parsifal come on buddy let’s get some training done and then we’ll play for a bit okay?” Parsifal looked up at its trainer before wagging its tail while having its tongue hanging out and yet Zeref couldn’t help but to let out another sight. “Alright so let’s practice on your moves set. So far you can only use bite and roar but we don’t need to use roar yet. It’ll make the opponent flee when we need to train! Okay let’s see what we can do!”

While Zeref continued his long boring lecture, it looks as if something else appeared out of the bushes! Parsifal smirked before slowly sneaking away from his trainer and right when the Pikachu noticed him BAM! Zeref turned his head but only to see Parsifal using Bite against a Pikachu… wait a minute a Pikachu? The male couldn’t help but to let out a loud exciting gasp at this amazing view. “It’s a Pikachu! I should probably catch that!” Not on Parsifal’s watch he’s not! Parsifal doesn’t like Pikachu for some reason that Zeref doesn’t even know about. So while Zeref was looking around for a pokeball, Parsifal would continue to attack the Pikachu! The Pikachu was strong but Parsifal was ready to take this little shit down! It used thunder shock and Parsifal sidestepped to dodge the attack! That wasn’t going to happen not this time! With that being said, Parsifal bit down on the Pikachu once more however Pikachu was ready for that bite and so in rammed right into Parsifal using tackle! Annoyed, Parsifal puffed its cheeks before attacking it once more but instead it uses a different move from earlier! It used EMBER INSTEAD!

On the other hand, Zeref finally managed to get ahold of his pokeball ready to knock capture it but it looks like the Pokemon had fainted and fled before he had the chance to throw the pokeball! The ranger stared at this for a few minutes before turning his head to Parsifal. “EH? EHHHHH! PARSIFAL I WANTED TO CATCH IT!” Parsifal turned its head as if it was making a sassy remark and yet Zeref couldn’t help but sigh once more. “Awww man what a bummer. Well I’m glad you managed to take it down!

What’s his Pokemon’s issue first it wants to play then it went all kill mode on the poor Pikachu and now it’s acting all sassy. Zeref shook his head at his bipolar Pokemon before scratching his head wondering if he should apologize to it for wanting to catch a Pikachu. “Sorry alright? I don’t know why you hate Pikachu so much so please forgive me. I have an idea why don’t we go to Kikyo after this! I’ll get you a special treat for being amazing!” Parsifal lifted up one eye before tackling Zeref to the ground well not literally but one day he would! His tail was moving back and forth and yet Zeref couldn’t help but to laugh at this sight.

If only it was that simple! Parsifal got to his paws and kept barking and moving left to right as if the little guy was trying to explain the situation to his partner. In the end this is like charades and Zeref has no clue exactly what it’s talking about. “I’m assuming your trying to tell me the reason behind your hatred towards Pikachu? I sadly don’t understand what your saying. Maybe I can find someone who does later on? Well okay since you don’t like Pikachu I promise I won’t catch one okay? Just promise me you won’t go all kill mode if you see a trainer with a Pikachu please!”

Parsifal gave a nod of an approval making Zeref sigh for relief. When everything seemed to have calmed down a Spinda appeared out of nowhere! “Great it’s a Spinda. Should we take it down or should we let it flee?” If only that was true because the Spinda started attacking out of nowhere! This is why Zeref hates Spindas they’re all crazy! “Oh you want to play rough huh? Parsifal use Ember while it’s trying to use tackle!” Parsifal jumped to his paws before ember straight at the Spinda and it hit! The Spinda fell back on its feet moving around like it usual does and yet it’s giving Zeref a damn headache! “They’re so annoying now I see why you hate Pikachu so much! Okay let’s use bite next!” Just when Parsifal was about to use bite the Spinda dodged the attack and then used copycat.

“Crap this isn’t good Parsifal look out!” Parsifal turned around but only to get hit by the Spinda’s bite attack causing the little pupper to roll backwards. “Shit this is going to be a tough one.” That’s when it clicked in! “Parsifal use ember!” Parsifal jumped up and used ember once more and that was when Spinda dodged the attack again to copy the move. Zeref placed a smirk on his face when Spinda tried to use the same attack on his partner. “Take the hit!” Parsifal looked over at his trainer before giving a slow nod. The little dog creature was ready to feel the pain of the heat however it doesn’t look like that will be the case! Parsifal looked around wondering what happened and in the mean time Zeref snapped his fingers to explain the situation. “It was a risk I had to take but you have the ability to use Flash Fire. I believe you have two abilities one of them being intimidate but that ability would normally activate once a wild Pokemon shows up so my other theory was Flash Fire! That little Ember attack should give you a slight power boost so you can beat the shit out of that Spinda!”

Zeref turned his head to the Spinda seeing the ‘oh shit’ look on it’s face. “Oh yeah! Parsifal use ember again!” Oh hell yeah it is! Parsifal lifted up his mouth to let out another ember attack! The Spinda got hit and it tried to use Tackle as a combat but Parsifal said no and had used ember again right then and there! The Spinda fainted and Zeref gave his partner a paw five. “Hell yeah good job partner! I’m very proud of you! Thank goodness that battle was over that Spinda was giving me a headache. Okay let’s head to Kikyo and get that treat I’ve promised yeah.”
