The one who greeted the pair, to the man's immense surprise and frustration, was a Jigglypuff. A fuckin' pink balloon, essentially, and the shame of all Pokemon. Sighing, he already knew that he would not be adding such a member to his team.

"Brute Root, use Mega Drain," the stern command was given, and...no response!

Brute Root completely ignored his master and decided that he would handle combat in his own way. Charging forth, the pokemon opened his maw and clamped it tightly onto the Jigglypuff causing her to squeal in pain. Easily lifting her up, while keeping a firm grip, he began to rapidly shake the female balloon.

"Pffft, ahahaha!" Andrew burst out in a fit of giggles as his Turtwig reduced the Jigglypuff to a mere ragdoll.

However, thanks to the continuous action, he activated the enemies ability in Cute Charm. Falling in love with her, he instantly released his grip on the female and dropped her to the ground. Incredibly angry, the pokemon had puffed up to the lovestruck Turtwig and began to hear, his trainer covering his ears already knowing the sleep-inducing effect, as he fell asleep. Apparently, the Jigglypuff was pretty pissed about being treated so roughly. The moment he fell asleep, she began a barrage of Pounds on his slumbering Brute Root. Even though he woke up, still affected by the attraction, he still took the beating. Now Andrew was stuck in a fit of guffaws, openly mocking his partner due to his despair.

"Bahaha, you look so fuckin' stupid right now Brute Root. Get your head out of your ass, now. I'm tired of waiting."

Although the man had been laughing, still, he quickly calmed down and delivered the second half of his statement with a deadly serious glare. He had retracted one ideal, though, and that was the disrespect given toward the Jigglypuff. She wasn't going to take anyone's shit, and that was the kind of Pokemon he wanted.

"Have you learned your lesson? Then let's try this again: Mega Drain." Fear beat the attraction, and his Turtwig began to see reason, half of the time.

This time, a green aura seemed to envelop the Jigglypuff indicating something was about to happen, before imploding and draining the female of some life force. The orb returned to the Brute Root and recovered some of the damage he had been dealt.

"Leech Seed. Then Withdraw." he ordered, quickly, taking advantage of the recently inspired fear before Cute Charm activated harder than before.

The Turtwig shot out a seed that entangled the Jigglypuff, though it didn't hinder movement. Capitalizing, Brute Root crawled in within his shell and increased his defense. Using this horrid strategy, the last of her vigor had been drained and Jigglypuff rendered unconscious. Pressing the button on the capsule and tossing it casually, he attempted to capture the Jigglypuff.
