[googlefont=Roboto Condensed] Kyle had not trekked for as long as he could remember. Taking the convenient and easy way of things had always been the option he'd choose over the other ones as he had not seen the value of putting more effort into it. The only reason he had done so is if reaped better rewards, most notably on games that had better prizes for a higher difficulty, though he wasn't sure if that was applicable in real life as well. He was tempted to use his Rhyhorn to climb, given that he had seen people ride it for races in the television before. Still, it sounded like a terrible idea. Having not fitted it with a proper saddle, as well as having a rocky exterior and a definitely rough backside, Kyle wouldn't even need to test it to confirm that he'd end up bleeding by the time he got up. Pain was something he'd like to avoid for a while, especially after a certain encounter he had. On the bright side, he was physically fit and light as a child. Carrying himself through this ordeal was going to be easier than expected, especially compared to most other people. Nonetheless, he couldn't really deny that it had been a pain to climb up. His Electrike had already raced him to a position higher than him, and he would've given up already if not for him. Leaving his Electrike behind wasn't really an option, though he considered it. The rascal howled from above him, provoking his trainer to catch up. The sound was clear and crisp, with the flapping of wings from the background reminding him of what noises risked in the wild. "You better shut up. I don't want any wild Pokemon going after us, you know." The scolding went silent for a while, as Kyle continued to force his legs to move along, brows furrowed uncomfortably on his forehead as he dealt with his Electrike. MADE BY NOVA |

 IM JUST A BROKEN MACHINE If it was her Starly leaving her that made her nervous, it was how she reacted to the new addition to the team. Percy wasn't about to not bond with both of her pokemon, leaving out her hoothoot and Starly. It seemed that Jackie wasn't too fond of Tucker. At least Percy could feel confident that Jackie would stick with her after a couple of days of adjusting. She had come to the route to search out a few battles. Jackie was in need of some training, but if she did find a pokemon she couldn't pass up she definitely would consider catching it. Jackie sat protectively on Percy's shoulder, while Tucker sat on her head. Looking around the feisty hoothoot was in complete protection mode. "It's alright Tucker I'm not going to combust or something." Percy reached up as the Hoothoot stepped onto her wrist. The ball of a pokemon fluffed up his feathers as he let out a small owl noise. It wasn't until then that she stopped, seeing an electrike in front of her. Below, another trainer trying to climb up to reach his howling pokemon that was drawing a lot of attention to himself. It was apparent enough that the trainer didn't want a wild pokemon coming up and attacking them. With reason too, she'd had to be ambushed. Regardless she could guess she would be seen now so she stood next to the elecktrike and watched. Along with her two bird pokemon looking over the edge. If he needed help she could offer it, but as usual she fell silent when it came to strangers. She highly doubted that he'd have much trouble, though Percy probably should have been more worried about his pokemon being hostile. Her own included as Jackie puffed herself up at the sight of the others. Causing the writer to have to pet the chest of the starly in order to calm her down. Hard to do when she already had a hoothoot on her head cooing as he watched the other trainer. The poor girl was juggling birds right now. |

[googlefont=Roboto Condensed] "O-Oh."Concentrating on his footing, Kyle had only managed to hold his head high as soon as he found stable enough ground that he could reliably put his weight on. Staring up, the squinting of his eyes appeared as a glare as his sight went against the sun. "Good morning," he greeted in a neutral tone with a nod. He had not noticed her presence until now, having been busy trying to deal with the hike as well as his Electrike beckoning him to hurry up. His Electrike gave a playful bark as the stranger approached him, though he immediately went back to staring down his trainer, restlessly kneading on the ground as he watched him reach him. "Don't we look really excited seeing me suffer, huh?" Riled up once again from the sight of his Pokemon, he eventually mustered his strength and eventually rushed to where the Electric-type waited. Clearing his throat, he faced her before adjusting his tone once again, trying to act friendly but ending up sounding impassive for the most part. "Sorry about that noise he made." He started dusting off the ends of his pants, though it might prove to be useless since they were still ways off from the top. "Unless you're actually looking for Pokemon, I guess. Can't really think of any other reason for people to be up here."Unfortunately, his own case had not been that. Keeping his Electrike out of his ball most of the time to build up some rapport between them had been fruitless so far. He'd give up on him had his Electrike not hold some kind of sentimental value for him. For the mean time, he was stuck trying to get a more usable level of obedience from it. MADE BY NOVA |

IM JUST A BROKEN MACHINE She just now realized that she had been staring. Jackie chuckled, the bird letting out a huffed noise as the other spoke. Percy had to blink for a moment, she wanted to apologize but she got tongue tied. Tucker hooted at Kyle, looking towards the electrike and giving a wave of his foot in greeting to the fellow pokemon. Despite his disdain with Jackie the Starly he was a friendly bird for the most part. As Percy cleared her throat she tried to smile awkwardly, she couldn't just stand there silent for the whole time. "I...it's okay. I could see th-at he was just trying to get you to come up here." she stuttered under her words as she swallowed. Her heart was beating a thousand times per minute right now. It was actually the first time Jackie had seen Percy interact with someone like this and actually stutter when she spoke. Which happened often. "I'm Percy, w-we could look for some pokemon together if you wanted." Percy offered the company as she smiled towards Kyle, meeting people was important right... right?! She had to remind herself, she had been a shut in for a while and interacting with others outside of her work meets was something she was getting used to. If she wanted to sell her pokemon for a good price she was going to have to make it good with other trainers. She certainly hoped that she could find some interesting pokemon out here. She looked around - there had to be something here considering the noise that electrike made. "I'm sorry I stared I got a bit distracted by these guys." she finally apologized as she looked to the ground. Jackie squaking as she flapped her wings, the little starly huffing as she hugged her wings close to her body. She did what she want and if she had wanted to make fun of this trainer that's exactly what she had been doing. Tucker had only been curious over the trainer, and hoped that he would be alright. |

[googlefont=Roboto Condensed] "Call me Kyle."He returned the smile back, albeit not as awkward as the one she did. It had been made obvious that she was the type to be timid around strangers, shown by the small signs such as stuttering, and so Kyle did not press much to force her into making small talk aside from what was needed from him. If he did so, it would most likely be from impulse. "I guess we could do that. I've been slacking on Electrike lately anyways." His gaze went to his Electric-type. It was supposed to be his designated first line of defense against anything that involved Pokemon, though he had been to lenient with him anyways. "Just tell me if you're planning on catching one and I'll help you set things up." By no means was his Electrike great with that job, though that was not saying that he couldn't help the slightest. "Oh, don't mind it. I've the same problem anyways."Pokemon eventually managed to respond to the noise that his Electrike made. A Sandshrew appeared first, and on another side was a Slugma. Have he been alone, he would've recalled his Electrike right away at the face of the Ground-type, but at least he had back up this time. He ought to teach him moves other than Electric-type ones, though he supposed that it would be long before he'd manage to do anything like that. "Mind if I take this side?" he asked, pointing to the obvious choice. Without skipping a beat, his Electrike already moved upfront regardless of Percy's answer. "Oops, sorry." At least his Pokemon had the concept of type match-ups. "Charge." His fur started to accumulate stray charges in the air, tiny sparks flying in all directions around him. The next attack was bound to be of higher voltage, but seeing as Percy had Flying-types, he supposed he couldn't really ask a Discharge at this moment. "Thunder."His Electrike concentrated his energy above, dropping a huge bolt of lightning towards the Slugma, but not before receiving a chunk of rock in its face. His nose bled as he recovered from the damage, but otherwise, he still seemed fine even after the attack. The opposing Fire-type, however, was knocked out cold. He heard rumors about Slugma solidifying if they do not move. He supposed this was the chance to confirm whether that was true or not. MADE BY NOVA |

IM JUST A BROKEN MACHINE A sandshrew had come to greet her, and Percy was both a little mad and a little over joyed. A ground type was perfect for her flying types to fight, however she was fighting the urge to catch the dear pokemon. Percy sighed, oh well she knew for certain there would be a time where she could catch another. It was best to see what could come her way. As she looked at Tucker she smiled - "Alright Tucker Let's go." she said as the hoothoot screeched. Raising himself into the air, the sandshrew made a small noise. Curling itself into a ball, it was obvious that it was afraid of the flying type raising its defense like it had. That didn't matter to her to be honest Percy had a technique figured out and she was certain that it would work! "Use hypnosis Tucker" she said as Jackie watched on her trainers shoulder. The starly had learned to admire the way the hoothoot battled. As the hypnotic ray spewed out towards the wild pokemon. The sandshrew recovered from its curl only to drift away into its sleepy state. For another three moves, the pokemon would be knocked out. "Alright Tucker Echoed voice three time in a row." she called out and the hoothoot was ready. While it probably would knock out the pokemon straight away it would essentially set up victory for them from the start. The hoothoot's voice echoed out through the area probably causing a lot more noise than the barks that had called the pokemon here. At the end of the third move - the Sandshrew perked up battered and bruised but still ready to fight. Jumping forward with an angry vengence, the sandshrew scratched the hoothoot making him stumble backwards as Percy watched him. "Finish him off with a peck Tucker" she said as the hoothoot happily did so. He rushed forward, hitting the ground type with his beak as the Sandshrew rolled off losing consciousness. The victory made Tucker fluff up, before he returned to Percy's arm. She smiled at him. "Great job." she reassured him as Jackie fluffed up in anger. The next one would be hers whether Percy liked it or not. Tucker wins, gains two levels. |

[googlefont=Roboto Condensed] He had motioned his Electrike to come closer to him, kneeling down as he approached and pulling a handkerchief out to clean the blood off of its nose. Injuries like these were bound to happen regardless of how careful one was, though he supposed that his Electrike wasn't even trying to be careful in the first place. He wasn't a bruiser at all, despite how reckless his actions were for Kyle. He'd have to work on his Electrike's movements if he wanted to reduce chances of injuries. "Hey, more challengers," he'd announce upon hearing more footsteps from the higher levels of the steep path. His eyes went to a single Pokemon that started to rush towards them. Battles do accumulate more noise as the moves get flashier, he supposed, and Thunder wasn't exactly a move that goes unnoticed as far as he knows. A Ponyta went sliding down a slope from above, its flames blazing as it approached them. He had thought that maybe it was out for revenge for them hurting its friends or something, but knowing how dim-witted some of the wild Pokemon got, he digressed and simply put it off as them being reckless against the route's trespassers. "Yeah, you go out there. Make less noise this time, you hear?"As soon as he fixed his Electrike up, he got up and held it by its sides. Counting down by himself, he tossed the canine to the Ponyta as he reached zero. This surprised not only his own Pokemon, but the Ponyta as well, with Fire-type trying to slow down its pace but ended up still meeting an Electrike to its face. As soon as his Electrike managed to hold a firm grip, it released a large volume of electricity, shocking and eventually felling the Ponyta. Hopefully, his Discharge do not reach Percy's side. "Wow you look beat up," he'd comment, trotting over to where he threw his Pokemon. Burns were all over his Pokemon, which he supposed came from a last minute attack from the Ponyta. " Still fired up?" A bark from his Electrike was a response, to which Kyle could only sigh. He wasn't sure how much energy his Electric-type has on reserves, but given its energetic response regardless of how beaten up it was, he was pretty sure it won't stop until it gets knocked out or something. "Hey, do you want this or nah?" he'd call out to Percy. Ponytas do make good mounts, though he wasn't sure if she was here to catch for Pokemon or simply here to train hers. Otherwise, he'd probably leave it unconscious until it wakes up later or something. MADE BY NOVA |

IM JUST A BROKEN MACHINE Percy's eyes certainly lit up at the sight of the fire pony. Not to say at the least her pokemon were probably at a little bit too low of a level for it. She would have to remain strong though, she enjoyed Kyle's company. She didn't exactly want their adventure to end just yet. "Tucker let's go." she spoke to the hoothoot as he complied with a flap of his wings. He was happy to be in the line of fire, as Jackie watched the other trainer and his pokemon fighting with the ponyta. Now all that was to be dealt with was this little magby. It shouldn't have been too hard, fire types didn't have a advantage nor disadvantage against a flying type and it would just have to deal with Tucker's level now. "Alright Tucker try using hypnosis." Percy told the hoothoot, as the pokmon nodded. The magby was glaring at the other, leering at the hoothoot as his defenses lowered. It didn't matter as the hoothoot started to put the magby to sleep. The fire type now slumbering Percy knew that she had this in the bag. "Alright, use a peck and go in for echoed voice." As the hoothoot charged forward to the sleeping pokemon he landed a peck right on its head. Making the pokemon twist in its sleep, then an echoed voice began. Twice in a row as the magby awoke battered and brusied. Angry even at the turn of events, from that it let forth an Ember. The flame seering Tucker as the bird flew backwards. " Finish it off with a peck Tucker you can do it!" As soon as she said it the hoothoot flared forward. The Magby attempted to protect itself but instead its arms were not good enough. Flying backwards as it went unconscious. Tucker returned as Jackie exclaimed towards their companions victory. When he asked if Percy wanted the ponyta she shook her head. "Oh no it's okay... [googlefont=Roboto Condensed] Kyle stopped whatever he was doing and stared at Percy, taking a deep breath before speaking up. "You know, that reminds me of one those cheesy lines on romance novels." He wouldn't deny that he liked them whenever they were done tastefully despite the fact that he wasn't fond of novels focused on romance. "Maybe reword it a bit, or you'll risk having me falling in love or something." His tone had been laced with jest, though not smiling with it probably did not help enforcing his joke. "Oh, good. Two Ground-types."A Baltoy and a Cubone approached them to be exact. Distracted by the two Ground-types, Kyle shifted away from Percy and back to his Electrike. He could use his Rhyhorn, though he figured it would be much better to tire his Electrike as much as he can. While it was battered from its previous battles, he could still see the fight in it. He figured he wouldn't be able to rest without discharging much of its energy anyways. Out of the two, Electrike would have an easier time against the Baltoy, he supposed. "Bite!"Electrike followed where Kyle's finger pointed, before sprinting in for the kill and lunging towards the Baltoy. The force from the kick brought the Electric-type enough speed to grab the Baltoy with his fangs and drag it away from the Cubone. As they landed on the ground, the Baltoy had used Rapid Spin, knocking Electrike's grip at it and making enough space for it to move once again. "You have to try better than that."Though shaken, his Electrike had once again moved in, digging his fangs on the wild Pokemon until it struggled no more. Kyle was still unsure how to judge whether it was already unconscious or not, though he simply took the lack of movements as a sign of it. His Pokemon had turned to its trainer afterwards, leaving the Baltoy alone. "Had enough?" The Electric-type replied with a nod, getting recalled back to its ball almost immediately. Stuffing the ball containing his Electrike to his belt, he turned to Percy, who he had left to deal with the Cubone, and asked. "So, uh, are you still staying here or are you going back to town?" IM JUST A BROKEN MACHINE She spotted the cubone and a smile rose on her face. It was an adorable pokemon, it could grow into something more powerful as well. No doubt trainers could be looking for those. Percy's mind seemed to have been read but not before Kyle spoke to her. His words made her choke, her cheeks flushing as she covered her mouth. She didn't know what to say, after all she got easily flustered. Regardless she just happened to get easily attached to others that were kind to her. Then again she did in the end push them away. He went after the baltoy, turning her attention to the cubone. Her starly flapped her wings, Jackie eager to get into a fight as Tucker had been getting all the attention. Percy almost lost in her own thoughts nodded to the starly as the pokemon rose from her perch. "I'm catching this one so try not to faint it." Percy noted as Jackie rolled her eyes. Carefully the bird watched the cubone. It was focusing its energy, spinning around its bone in its hands as Percy only hoped that his moves were limited. Ground type moves had no affect on her birds. "Quick Attack." Percy called out and the starly picked up speed. The cubone tried to follow the birds movements but she was simply too fast. Tackling into him as the cubone let out a growl - lowering Jackie's attack as Jackie narrowed her eyes in annoyance. "Use Aerial Ace" Percy ordered and Jackie was quick to cut into the cubone. The pokemon battered and bruised as it skidded backwards. It attempted to club the bird with his bone. However Jackie was able to fly out of its range easily. The ground type move was no use against her. "Alright use Quick attack one more time." Percy got a pokeball ready as her starly quickened her pace to the cubone. Landing a hit right in its chest as Percy threw the pokeball. Watching the pokemon get sucked inside, but only waiting. After all she couldn't tell if she was going to catch it or not she could only hope. It was then she turned to kyle. "I'll probably head back to town." she stated still trying to get over her flushed cheeks from earlier. |

[googlefont=Roboto Condensed] Seeing the Pokeball that Percy threw successfully seal the Cubone within its confines got Kyle to give a small round of claps to the other trainer. "Congrats on the capture." He wasn't sure if it was necessary, though he always felt like he needed to say those words every time someone accomplishes something, regardless of how easy they were. He had noticed her get flustered earlier, though he paid no mind to it. Commenting on it would only serve to make the situation more awkward for her, though it did sound a much better outcome now that he had considered it. Getting a reaction from a simple comment like his was pure, which was already an enough dosage of cute that Kyle could handle. Anymore and he'd feel like he'd be bullying her for more of those reactions, which, then again, didn't sound particularly bad for him. "Are you heading for Fusube or Yoshino?"Hopefully Yoshino. He had left the rest of his things there, and going down was a much easier task than hiking up. He had only met her half-way and was not even paying attention to where she was going when he had met her, and so he was clueless about it. As for him, he was only really here since his Electrike had somehow managed to rope him all the way up. Now that the Electric-type was now out of commission, he had no other reason to remain in this place. Taking his phone out, he took note of the time from the screen before stuffing it away back to his pockets. "I got time to kill. Let me escort you back." He paused, staring upwards as he tried to recall the words she used earlier, before going back to her. "What was it again?
