Bosco was feeling slightly disappointed. It had been nearly two hours, and while he had seen tracks of various pokemon, he had not seen any real pokemon up to this point. It was kinda strange, seeing Dilla being so calm and collected the entire time up to this point. Though he did have the nervous twitch every now and again, he was still pleased by things over all. There was a smile on Bosco's face as they walked, and it didn't take too much longer before he finally sighted it. A fresh trail! Or at least, as fresh as he had seen up to this point.

At the end of said trail, Bosco nearly lost his damned mind. There was a Munchlax sitting there, currently working on gorging itself with fists full of berries. He had heard that snorlaxes and munchlaxes could be terrible on an environment. Seeing one up close, he realized just how high maintenance they could be. Still, he was resolved to this course of action. This massive pokemon was going to be part of his group until he could either figure out one that was going to be better, or simply grow him to the massive size that they were rumored to be able to reach.

With a snap of his fingers, he got both the Munchlax's and Dilla's attention. “Water gun.” He called out, the pokemon pulling back as per normal and blasting out with the jet of water. The munchlax was... Oddly dulled in his reflexes. He wanted to pull out his pokedex and read up on it, but at the same time, he was not sure if he really should. It always felt so odd to do, almost like it was cheating. The munchlax, dripping wet at this point, stood up, looked at Dilla and wagged a finger.

At first nothing happened...Then it did, and very suddenly. A spark of lightning smashed into Dilla, knocking him backwards and making him roll several times. He quickly sprang up, clearly furious at this, and Bosco had realized what had just happened. The Munchlax knew metronome, and had randomly been able to use thunder shock. “Ok. Hmmm... New plan. I think it is time to spend that pent up energy my little friend. Dilla, rage.”

The little pokemon jumped up, his eyes glowed for a moment, and he charged forwards like a bat out of hell. Once again, the small pokemon was going full fisticuffs with someone else. Each swing of his little claws, and each bit of his massive jaws was met with force of some serious power as well. Metronome was indeed a powerful move. Some the the attacks did very little, others were far more powerful, but it seemed like Dilla was winning after the third set of swings. The munchlax fell backwards, and Bosco snapped up with the safari ball.

“Please oh please...” He whispered, throwing it to try to capture this one.

"Damn it!" Bosco called out as the pokemon shattered his way out of the pokeball, then using rollout to try to crush Dilla. The attack caught him by surprise, knocking the lighter pokemon back and away. Dilla hit the ground hard, and then pulled himself up, the rage he was in finally starting to fall away. While Bosco knew this was an attack that built power over time, and each time the pokemon attacked with they simply got stronger, he knew how draining it could be. Dilla got up and took a deep breath, not letting himself give into the rage any longer and awaiting the command from his master.

He growled slightly, looking at the pokemon and then back at Totodile, who was breathing hard at this point and trying to keep himself on the level. The rage attack took a lot out of him, so now it was time to rely on a different tactic. "Dilla! Bite and don't let go!" He called out, the small pokemon rushing towards the other one. With surprising force, Dilla bit down hard, yanking up the other pokemon and lifting the massive one hundred and five pound Munchlax into the air. He shifted to be able to hold the flailing pokemon. It didn't last for long, the larger weight pokemon was threatening to crush Totodile, and he had to be tossed away. The Munchlax hit the ground, bounced once, and then did roll out once more. It was a powerful attack, but it had it's drawbacks.

Dilla rolled back to his feet while Munchlax was coming around for another attack. "Dilla! Aqua Tail!" He called out, the pokemon's face lighting up. While it was not the greatest move ever, it did hit like a truck on fire. Stepping in, Dilla swung hard, his tail being covered in water and swung with the same level of force as a wave in a hurricane upon the shores of a coastal city. The strike itself was powerful as well, knocking the heavy pokemon down once again. Bosco was on the ready, holding the second of his three safari balls, and closing his eyes. He wanted this one to capture it, but he knew he had use these carefully.

“Dilla! Again!” He called out as the Munchlax rolled up, and then over, Dilla, but when the pokemon was down, he smashed hard at an angle, knocking the heavy munchlax into the air. As soon as it hit the ground, Bosco tossed the second pokeball at it. His eyes narrowed, and he hoped that it would be the one to capture the Munchlax.

“Be on guard Dilla! This is our last chance to catch it!” He called out watching the pokeball as it shook, and he hoped this time it would go silent and rest.

"Yes! Yes yes yes! Hahahahahahahaha! I love it!" He said, running over to the small pokeball and laughing out. He picked it up, looking at the orb for a long moment before walking over to Dilla and looking down at his little friend. He reached down and hugged him tightly. "Thank you little buddy. Mom used to love these little bastards. They eat nearly anything, and if you teach them properly, you can use em to make sure restaurant scraps never go to waste. But that is neither here nor there. Thank you little buddy, for being so damned tough and strong. Here." He said, giving the small pokemon a few treats before opening up the bag and pulling out a potion. He looked at it for a moment and then grabbed a second one. The wounds on him were pretty rough.

While Dilla mowed down on the treats, Bosco applied both potions. Now that his little friend was on the quick mend, he popped his neck as he stood up. "Ok. I got one pokeball left. One safari ball remaining... You think we can find us a Scyther? As much as I love Pinsir, lets see if we can add a flyer to our roster!" He said, the little pokemon seeming to recover his energy and then springing up, joyous and rather pleased by everything. "Good. Let's do this my friends." He said, rubbing his head for a moment and then smiling as he looked over the remaining area of the Safari zone. With one safari ball remaining, it was time to really press his luck.

Walking with Dilla by his side, it was time to really go hunting. There was no sense in letting this one final ball to go waste. And if push came to shove, he would simply knock out anything else that came his way if he could help it.

It was a bit of an interesting time currently. While he knew a Dratini would be crazy useful for trades. At this point, it was not an option. He would need to wait for another time when he had things figured out for himself. He was going to need to get a number of things figured out, and he shouldn't be distracted by what was going on in his mind, instead he needed to focus on what was happening all around him. Dilla lowered himself down slightly, his eyes upon the pokemon before him.

"Ok... Dratini... Dragon type, grows up into a Dragonite... Ice. Cold things." He said, nodding once and smiling a bit."Alright, Dilla, use bite on it, swing the mon around, and then hit it hard with ice fang!" He called out, the small pokemon rushing towards the Dragon type, causing it to recoil slightly. It was probably unused to being attacked in such a way. Dilla opened his mouth wide and bit down hard on the other pokemon, swinging it around wildly for a moment before the other pokemon was tossed and landed hard. It snaked back up, looking over at the small, aggressive pokemon and charging towards Dilla on it's own.

It wrapped tightly around the smaller pokemon, holding the smaller pokemon tightly and squeezing around him. Dilla struggled against it, trying valiantly to escape, but it only when fatigue started to set in that relaxed some and Dilla got his change. Dilla opened his mouth wide, turning quickly and biting down with ice cold fangs. The bite sent shearing pain through the Dratini and caused it to let go, allowing Totodile to do it again. The Dratini twisted and hit Dilla with a leer, trying to lower it's overall defensive abilities. Grabbing it once more in a bite, he lifted it up and threw it once more, tossing it into the near by water and causing a huge splash.

"Well... That is that then. Alright, let's see if it comes back..." He said, sitting down and looking at Totodile, who was breathing heavily as he tried to relax.

Dilla had been spending some time in the water, relaxing, resting, and trying to overall make himself recover as much strength as possible. Bosco was laying back upon a large stone, his eyes closed and he was trying to simply enjoy himself as well. For now, he was not going to push himself harder than he needed to. He also knew he needed to make sure this one rested as well. Taking a slow breath, he looked over the water as Dilla swam around, smiling a bit and watching the pokemon swimming around slowly, seeming to have the time of his life either way.

It was nice to have a few moments like this. He was not in the biggest rush to hunt down things, but he did have to remain vigilant to all this. There was a moment where he was worried because of things he could see in the distance, but when the lapras surfaced a few feet away, his eyes opened a bit wider. "Oh snap!" He called out, Dilla snapping up and diving out of the water. He quickly moved to the shallow end and stood beside Dilla. The Lapras made some noises, and Dilla responded and then shifted. Seeming to get ready to battle. The Lapras pulled it's head back and fired a water gun, knocking over the Dilla.

Quickly hopping up to his feet, Dilla rushed the other pokemon, slashing hard at him as Bosco called out, ordering him to give into his rage and slash away at the pokemon before them. Each crash of his claws and snap of his teeth slowly nickled and dimed down despite the attacks being hit with other various attacks. He pressed through it, attacking six times in a row with his rage, and then finally simmering down when the Lapras started to fall backwards to escape. Dilla was preparing to chase him, when Bosco called him off.

"No no. Let's relax." He said, calling him back and checking him over. Despite the fact that Larpas was tough, Dilla was far, far tougher.

They had only been there a short time in terms of rest before Bosco had decided to call it for now. They were on their way out, Bosco a bit sad he had not seen a Scyther, but oh well. He had one Safari ball remaining, and he was going to turn that in. While it was not the most fruitful run, he had indeed learned a lot. Dilla was strong here as well. He had a good move set, and was doing wonderful for himself in a place like this. It was, in truth, kinda nice. A smile was on his face as the pair left from here. Humming a bit, Bosco was not fully aware of things when the sandile burst from the ground, scaring both Bosco and Dilla at the suddeness of it all. His eyes went wide and he took a step back with the small pokemon.

Dilla had recovered quickly enough, moving to stand in front of his master and his eyes narrowed. Both pokemon roared at each other, and then Bosco regained his composure. With a nod, he would point towards the Sandile. "Dilla! Aqua tail!" The small pokemon rushed forwards, with one of the most powerful moves he knew, and slammed into the other pokemon, once more with the force of a hurricane powered wave. Dilla was getting, in truth, a lot stronger than Bosco had imagined. Perhaps he was close to evolving? Now wouldn't that be interesting?

The ground pokemon took a moment to recover and then roared out again, rushing to start snapping quickly at Dilla. It was in a rage, much like what Dilla did. It was time to play it smart, because this move could end someone. "Dilla! Fall back and blast it with water gun!" He called out, causing Dilla to do just that. Both attacks had hit, both of them being water and knocking around this Sandile. This time, it was down for good. Having type advantage was helpful.

"Come on Dilla. Let's get out of here. We can come back later." He said, giving his little buddy a treat and heading out. There was no sense in staying here for now. He could always come back. After all, if he waited a bit, and let his pokemon grow stronger, he might have a better chance to finding a number of new pokemon to help flesh out his team.
