Not long after entering the cave, the duo were approached by their first foe, a rather irate Geodude. "Alright Gogo, strike first! Peekaboo!" With an affirmative bark, she hopped up a little before diving back towards the earth face-first, pushing dirt and rock out of the way as she dug a tunnel down with remarkable speed. The Geodude looked around, confused, having just seen a foe before it, now unable to find it. However, it seemed to push that from its mind at the moment, and charged at the other foe it saw, Mysha himself.[break][break]

The man grinned as the wild monster moved right over the hole Gogo had left. She'd turned right back around and clamped her strong jaw down on it from below, completely catching it off guard with it's bite. This allowed her to thrash it about for a moment before throwing it up against the nearby cave wall with a sound not unlike a bark from an angry guard dog. Still a bit dazed, the Geodude attempted to defend itself from further attacks, curling itself into a tight ball. With a glint in her eye, Gogo saw her chance, even without her trainer's insight. The ferocious Trapinch charged the Geodude, knocking it back against the wall again, where the impact caused it to unfurl and lay still, having been knocked unconscious.[break][break]

"Hey, come on now, be careful. You can't always be that reckless, alright? You did well this time, but still." The Pokemon seemed to ignore his warnings and continue on ahead, quite riled up from the fight it'd seem.[break][break]

The cave's dark depths seemed to go on for quite a while, the quiet trickle of water seeming to emphasis just how out of his normal situation Mysha was. He really was a city kid, through and through, despite how often he would go outside in less developed areas. He really couldn't wait to get back home and soak in the bath, watch TV, and in general enjoy civilization. He shook the thought from his head for now though, and tried to focus again, as he'd heard a sound, possibly the cry of a Pokemon.[break][break]

"Gogo. You see or hear anything?" The Pokemon looked back at him, as if wondering what he was talking about. "I thought I heard something. Stay aware." Not a second later, a Nosepass dropped from above, right in front of them. "What the-?!"[break][break]

The two having been caught off guard, the Nosepass acted first, stomping its foot. As it did, the ground beneath the two cracked, and it was all Mysha could do to get out of there himself, before a redhot current of air and rock blasted upward. "Gogo! Are you alright?" The dust settled shortly, and from within, the Trapinch dashed, it's large jaws opening wide and clamping down her foe's large red nose.[break][break]

"Gogo, wait, hang on! I told you to not just charge in on your own!" he called, furiously scrolling through information on Nosepass on his Poketch. Meanwhile, the Nosepass closed its eyes and concentrated, it's rocklike body hardening to buffer some of the damage coming from the bite. "There, found it! Use Bulldoze, it'll be more effective!" Gogo broke away from the wild Pokemon for just a moment, not able to get to far due to the magnetic force the Nosepass was exerting on her, and then charged forward, slamming right up against it.[break][break]

The wild Nosepass held its ground, despite being weakened quite heavily from the last blow; the way it braced its body earlier must have allowed it to withstand the hit. In one final effort, it tried to once again bring the power of the earth against Gogo, who once again took the blow. "Come on girl, I know you can do it! Hit'm with one more Bulldoze!" She narrowed her eyes as the dust once again fell, focusing on the source of her ire, before charging forward once again, slamming the Nosepass into unconsciousness.[break][break]

The two of them were breathing a little heavy after the tension of the last fight. "Alright... let's just look a little more, and we'll head out of here, alright?" After a nod from his Pokemon, the two continued down the path before them, a bit more cautious than before.[break][break]

Their caution was largely for naught, as the duo didn't encount another foe for some time; it seemed that the previous two encounters had scared off many of the rest, or that they were too weak for many of the others to bother with. Just as they were about it call it for the day however, they turned the corner on their way out, and found a lone Aron, its armor rather scuffed and dented, but its large blue eyes fierce. It seemed that this one knew of what the two had done, and was looking to face it himself. Something about it caught Mysha's attention, something in the way it stood before them... he liked it. This one, they were adding to the party.[break][break]

"Gogo, easy, we're catching this one." He quickly located Aron's entry in the Pokedex and read further. "Don't hit it with your ground type moves, it's really weak to those, and we don't want to hurt it too much if we want it to be our friend, even if it's looking for a fight. Think you can do that?" Gogo's reply was a little tired, but confident. She too was stubborn after all, and even if she was fighting with a handicap, Gogo wanted to fight the brave Aron.[break][break]

"Alright, here goes. Get close, and focus on dodging the first attack. Then, retaliate with Bite. When I call for it, back off so I can throw the ball." With an affirmative cry, Gogo advanced with caution. The Aron too was a bit cautious, not used to this kind of fight it seemed. It backed away just slightly, but then began to make to strafe around her, leading to the two moving in a circle for just a moment, before they paused; a split-second that seemed to last an eternity.[break][break]

In an instant, the wild Pokemon charged forward, it's hard head the focus of its attack. Having anticipated this like she was told to, Gogo dodged to the side and bit at him with her giant maw. The Aron cried its pain, but similarly to the Nosepass before, it toughened its body against further bites, which it receives as it braces itself. Damnit, I was afraid of that... but we don't have much of a choice except to keep biting, if we don't wear it down, it'll likely break out, and her other moves might hurt it too much.[break][break]

The two Pokemon turned to face each other again, and the Aron charged forward once again the moment their eyes met. Once again, Gogo managed to dodge, but only just barely, and give the wold mon another bite for its trouble. The Aron seemed to just shrug it off and fight through the pain, though it was looking quite tired, and turn around with surprising speed, hitting Gogo's side with a sudden headbutt. The Trapinch reeled from the hit, evidently quite hurt from the unexpected hit.[break][break]

Mysha knew in an instant what he needed to do. With a swift pitch, Mysha chucked a Pokeball at the Aron, hoping to successfully catch it and take the two of them to a Poke Center, where they could get a well earned rest.[break][break]
