It'd been a long trek to the Safari Zone. He'd moved across beautiful waterfalls, high peaks and was even forced to take a ferry from the mainland of Johto, but word was the safari zone was more than worth it. It was a place where more than a few rare pokemon had made homes for themselves that also was assessable to the public for a price, albeit a high one. Thinking about how much the researcher spent on this excursion made him cringe, but he couldn't help but feel a sense of worth upon glacing at those gates that led to the controlled wild. Not only were the pokemon a bit more diverse than the standard pidgey, but Azad was interested in the controlled environment as a whole and how it worked. How did the warden receive the pokemon and what conditions did they create to make the land so suitable an internment for such a diverse group of pokemon? Even more how did they adjust the grounds so quickly when it was time to allow new pokemon in?
The latter was answered by one of the staff shortly upon entering. Apparently the zone was broken down into rotating districts, distracts that after an amount of allotted time had passed would be closed off while a new one opened. Thus it gave the pokemon in the zone time to rest and relax without having to worry about the intrusion of trainers constantly. It was a wise move and Azad had to give the zone creator a fair share of credit. The high price was put towards upkeep of the safari and prevented massive hordes of people to infiltrate the zone constantly, another wise decision put in place but the warden.
With the new found information the researcher would recieve his three safari balls first calling out Kreiss to accompany the trainer on this journey of sorts hoping for the pokemon to get a bit more experience in. There were two pokemon that the trainer was intently looking on finding this go round, but despite the time limit he was by no means in any sort of rush content with just taking in the surroundings. He was sure he'd find the pokemon he sought sooner than later, but his first priority was exploring and getting his team a bit more accustomed to this variation of wild in general, after all it'd been so long since he'd last been. and so with that in mind Azad's Safari Zone trial would commence.

Azad chose to stay by the water this time around the Zone, the pokemon he was most interested was after all primarily a water type, even more the pokemon he trusted to battle this time around had a serious advantage in aquatic environment It was also rather nostalgic seeing as it was here in this basin that Azad had first run into his champion of the day. Kreiss had been but a dratini at the time bt the pokemon even then had spirit that rivaled its final evolutions.
It was during their nostalgic moment that the two were interrupted by the first pokemon of the day. A flying type that while rare Azad had more than enough of Staraptor and Dragonair ruled the skies and sharing them with a third was more than unlikely, and so there was only a single option left.
The battle honestly didn't take too long. It took a total of three turns for the serpent to get accustomed to the bird's moves before taking complete control of the battle. If anything Azad would note the dragon's prowess moving from air to see in record time now constantly switching between battlefields to surprise and eventually bring down the bird pokemon who at the end of the day simply couldn't keep up with not only the dragon's speed but his technique now. Azad slides a hand into his pocket emerald eyes traveling upwards to watch the dragonair land a dragon rage. "Enough play, finish it with Dragon Rush." And so with the order given the trainer would order the attack much to the energetic dragons dismay it's entire body pulsating with draconic energy before it's tail would slam the bird into the earth promptly knocking the enemy unconscious. With that taken care of the dragon would dive back into the safari waters making no effort to contain a massive splash before rising its head.
Rolling his eyes, but offering a smile the trainer would wave the dragonair on continuing they search of the Zone.

Mudkip, a pokemon originating from the Hoenn region, it's a popular starter and as it evolves it obtains a ground typing making it a extremely versatile pokemon and one that covered a few missing typings on his team.
Also Swampert was just cool, it was a cool pokemon and while Azad wasn't one to base his choices on looks he couldn't help himself. "Kreiss, You're on lets make this one count." The dragon in a single motion would rise from the water's depths sapphire eyes focused on its rather small opponent slightly underwhelmed by the size of his newest enemy glancing at his trainer as if to say, "are you sure?" The Mudkip would glance at the rising dragon unimpressed before glancing at the trainer itself tilting its head sideways. Before preparing itself for a fight.
If Azad wasn't readying himself for a fight the man would have seen the smaller pokemon as cute. Before Azad could even think on it however the water type would start the battle off unleashing a fierce water gun doing little in terms of damage but the sheer surprise of the attack splashing the dragon in the face would do little for it's mood the attack was a semi insult to the dragonair and while it was rare to see someone get the drop on the dragon and even rarer to see the dragonair mad it wasn't impossible.
The dragon would glance back at the trainer only to see Azad smirking a bit too much would splash his tail soaking not only the water type, but the silver haired trainer himself the smirk he once had now covered in sopping wet hair. Mudkip however seemed to enjoy the summer shower and simply shook itself dry letting the moisture settle in its skin. But with this the idea of a battle or at least serious one was ruined. That said, Azad wouldn't his dragonair settle like this and so sliding his wet pants off the man would jump in and tackle his Dragon pokemon who was snickering far too loudly at this point. Also inviting the smaller water type to join in the festivities. In moments other pokemon found their ways out of the pokeballs. Ira was the first the kabutops more than ready for a dive. Fai, and Aros noticing the fesitivites would be the next to release themselves The Metagross would simply hover over the water relaxing using his psychic to temper the waters whenever any dared to drag the massive steel type into the chaos. Fai was a bit sneakier concerning his approach to the party using feint attack to sneak his way into cannon balling into the water.
By the time the splash fest finished everyone mudkip included lie soaked on the shore baking in the sun, how many hours had the group of seven played in the water Kreiss and Fai had fallen asleep slumped on each other while Nero and Aros found a shadier spot to rest after the groups shenanigans. Ira still found himself swimming in the water the large kabutops could be seen it's body moving quickly underneath the blue waters Azad lazily watched waiting to dry the mudkip on his lap now relaxed as could be.
"See now look what you did, We were supposed to research and study, and now everything is soaked." The trainer tried to sound annoyed, but it came off more humorous than anything. The mudkip would only roll on its belly facing the trainer upright now illiciting another chuckle from the trainer.
"Kip."
"Fine, you got me maybe we all needed a break anyways."
" Kip, Mud."
"And yes we did have fun, thanks for that friend, well you get along with the team well enough. How about this, you wanna come with us, train, and get stronger. I think having you around...It'll teach us.. it'll teach me how to relax a little easier, yeah?"
" Mud-."
" Don't answer yet, let this be the deciding factor, yeah?"
With that Azad would pull a fallen safari ball from the sand shaking it off quickly.
"So here we go." There's a touch of nervousness in the trainer as he taps the green orb against the water type's forehead a red light enveloping him.
Would the pokemon decide to join? Azad hoped so.

The ball doesn't even so much as wiggle once Mudkip is asorbed into the ball. Whether it's because he agreed to join of his own free will or were simply too exhausted from the hours of play, a new member has been joined the party. Though from the look on his face just before being engulfed in the red light it's safe to assume it's some combination of the two.[break][break]
