Route 29, the first route of the Johto region. Soon after receiving a starter pokemon from professor Elm trainers were sent out here to meet their first challenge on their pokemon journeys, the open road. It was by no means a long route if someone rushed through it they'd make it to the next town in about two hours or so and while there wasn't much to see particularly because it was the first route of the region the government and league association did its best to keep the route as beautiful as possible. While Azad hadn't received his first pokemon from professor Elm he appreciated the artificial beauty of the route. A variety of flowers had been planted to beautify the route and so it shone in many different colors and while the pokemon that existed here weren't known for their diversity they were more docile and not as accustomed to battle. It was why Azad would make his debut here attempting to battle and perhaps catch wild pokemon on the route.

Aros was a great pokemon, but in battle it was limited greatly, to the point it only had one move, a move that dealt recoil damage at that and so the trainer needed to expand his repertoire or at least get Aros to the point where it could comfortably battle without slowly knocking itself unconscious. And so from the side of Yoshino Town the trainer would venture into the route armed with a number of potions and pokeballs. His plan was to stay closer to the outskirts of the city as to return and rest whenever needed. While he'd come prepared there was no need to blow all of his supplies if he didn't have to. It was a classic mantra of his, "work smarter not harder" and work smarter he would.

With his gear set and his mind prepared he'd call out Aros from its pokeball the magnet pokemon was also determined to get a bit stronger as well not only to be of more use to his trainer, but for himself. Evolving was something the magnet pokemon very much wanted to experience and something Azad promised to it when they first set out together. They'd become strong. Strong enough that no one looked down on them.
