The Emperor was not impressed by the flexing of the Machoke—a leer of disinterest with a slight title of an armored head showed the muscular Pokémon this. Chance stood with a grin, watching as the trademark of all Fighting type Pokémon made his pectorals bounce like a children's bouncy house. "I dunno' how much of a challenge this guy is gonna' be for ya', Boss. Looks like he wants to show off all them gains rather than fight, but it also looks like we ain't gonna' be able to pass unless we handle this juice head. So I really dunno' what you wanna' do." The Fighter says to the armored avian with his hands placed casually in his empty front pockets. Suddenly, Empoleon begins taking steps forward to meet the Superpower Pokémon—he is much taller than the musclebound beast, but height meant nothing when dealing with one of the strongest Pokémon known to man. Chance just stood back, allowing Empoleon to handle this adversary the way he saw fit. Machoke continued to flex a little more before both hands were thrown out in front of him, bulging muscles from the arm ready to crush boulders, tree trunks, and bones. The Emperor stands stalwart as usual, ready and waiting for this wild Pokémon to make the first move.

Machoke runs forward and strikes with a mighty slap with all the power he could muster behind the open-handed attack. Empoleon evades the rather slow and sloppy attack with a simple step back and retaliates with an armored wing slicing at the open chest of the Superpower Pokémon. Machoke retracts his arm and stands tall with his chest sticking out, pectorals bulging an harder than steel. The wing of the avian slashed down the open chest of the Fighting type but did no visible damage as the Pokémon began to chuckle in dominance. Though, before the overly confident and muscular Pokémon could prepare himself for the following attack, Empoleon struck more with armored wings—attacks that eventually broke through the muscle defense of the Superpower Pokemon. Machoke reeled back with a grunt, holding his now hurting and stinging chest as the Emperor moved forward to finish off this useless and pointless fight. Machoke then suddenly grabs the armored avian and holds him in a Submission hold—a bear hug that lifted him completely off the ground; arms like deadly vice-grips squeezing the life out of the avian. Despite being extremely paining and uncomfortable, Empoleon didn't panic. Instead, this was the ideal position for the flightless bird. Looking the grinning Superpower Pokémon in the eye, Empoleon threw his head forward with an extremely sharp beak. This beak bombarded Machoke in the face time and time again until he had no other choice but to let the steel bird go.

Partially unable to see due to taking a beak to both eyes, Empoleon coated himself in a veil of water and rocketed forward like a jet. While doing this he'd spin like a drill, an extremely sharp beak aimed for the chest of the musclebound Pokémon. This final attack was all it took—the wild Pokémon toppling backwards, unconscious, with a burning drill mark right in the center of the same chest he was so proud out before."This guy is somethin' else, but with a little guidance I can turn this muscle head into a real force to be reckoned with." Chancelor says taking out one of his many vacant PokéBall's and attempting to catch the unconscious Pokémon.
