Jacob shook his head remembering all the shit he dealt with back home. It felt like hell back then he couldn’t believe he dealt with all of that shit for nearly his whole entire life. “Right I’ve forgotten about that try not to kill me for it please!” He let out a little giggle trying his hardest to blow it off however if he was at home and he did the same thing he would get thrown into the pool for it. At least he learned how to swim and he’s used to getting his hair wet because of it! [break] [break] “You seem like a tough girl so I’m not surprised.” Jacob responded to her regarding to the Bell Tower. At least he appreciates tough girls although in all honesty Jacob prefers the cute and tough type together in one mix! “I hope you don’t beat up your twin brother all the time though. I grew up with some tough females in my family and they enjoy beating me up.” The male placed his hand on his forehead giving a soft sigh. “And trust me it wasn’t a pretty thing to see.”[break] [break] Hansel was bored this is boring he needs to do something to embarrassing the two of them or someone! Thinking about it now the easiest person to put on the spotlight is Jacob and his telekinesis abilities. What can he do to piss the medium off? The little guy wanted to show how angry Jacob can get but it’s not going to be easy seeing how calm and relax the trainer is. While Jacob was having a lovely conversation with Zuri, Hansel on the other hand sneaked up the tree nearby. The little mime smirked before jumping right off the branch floating right in front of Jacob using the move Psychic! [break] [break] Jacob looked at him with his eyes narrowed. “What are you doing?” Hansel puffed his cheeks using his PSYCHIC ability to shoot himself back into the tree. The medium shook his head before turning his gaze over to Zuri. “He is up to no good he must be bored.” Although in all honesty he finds this rather boring. In the end Jacob is the kind of guy who loves to talk about engineering stuff or nerdy shit in general. When he gets talking he’ll talk and talk until him and that person fall out flat! Thankfully something popped out to help the two of them out and that was a Mankey! [break] [break] “Perfect!” Jacob cried out loud by accident heck even the Mime said the same exact thing! “PSYCHIC!” The medium called out as the Mime Jr. jumped down from the tree with his arms up and tossed to the side tossing the monkey like Pokemon right into a tree! Hansel twirled on his foot bopping itself on the head causing Jacob to laugh at this. “Great work but we’re not done yet. Try PSYBEAM to end the battle!” Already done the Mime Jr. let out a psychic beam and slamming right into the monkey knocking it out cold! Jacob shook his head while bopping himself as well. “It’s over already? I’m enjoying this too much let’s go for another round!” Jacob laughed while petting his mime on the head. “Good job partner just note when we get stronger never underestimate your opponent. We will get knocked out like before never again!” [break] [break] Jacob shook his head at that before turning over to Zuri. “Why thank you oh… you’re talking to your Espurr never mind. Speaking of which I’ve never seen an Espurr before.” Now that he thinks about it she has a rare Pokemon right there. It made the medium tap his chin while Hansel twirled around his trainer using the move PSYCHIC. “It’s from another region isn’t it?” He asked her trying his hardest to ignore the flying Mime Jr. however it’s becoming difficult to do exactly that. Zuri wasn't about to kill him. Though his comment about tough females beating on him made some sense. It was a different time nowadays girls were tough unlike the homemakers of tomorrow. Zuri wouldn't call herself a feminist though. Men were better at some things and girls at other things. It's called gender diversity and sexes were not made equal. Though to be fair there were those who just didn't fit in. Like pansy psychic boys or tough girls.
"Tough girls are becoming normal. Though in all fairness most learn to roughhouse when they got brothers," Zuri said neither denying or accepting the fact she did beat her brother up for being an idjit from time to time.
"It's actually a scientific fact boredom can actually kill," she said watching his pokemon unamusedly. It was an odd study but had proven effective in proving boredom killed people prematurely. Not outright but people who tend to be bored more were twice as likely to die young. She could clarify but there was no fun in that.
"Kalos," Zuri responded looking to her now meowstic. "Paid an arm and a leg just to catch him in the safari. I'm not going back there again unless they get me a dunsparce." Her hunt for the elusive normal type was proving very annoying.
"Sidhe, rest a bit," Zuri said returning him. Her gaze having caught something green and moving several feet behind him. A grass type no doubt which meant a bug would be welcome. "Jincan."
The skorupi gave a loud hiss as she appeared. The scorpion pokemon eyeballing the mime ready to kill it. "Over there," her trainers words had her looking at the grass type. An easy enough target by all standards as the scorpion rushed it and bit in. Her bug bite only getting stronger as she shook her head violently until her target wasn't moving. Not dead but definitely going to be out for a long while.
"Pretty sure she liked killing pokemon when she was wild," Zuri mused. She knew better than to praise the bug.

Deciding to have some fun the Mime Jr. went limp causing Jacob to gasp even more. “HANSEL NOOOOO!” The medium swung his Mime around in circles with his arms flailing around. “HANSEL IS FUCKING DEAD I TELL YOU! HANSEL IS DEAD!” [break] [break] Thinking fast, the medium placed the Mime on the ground and would lift up his hands. “I MUST GIVE THE PROCEDURE!" Meanwhile at the back of Hansel mind, the Mime was laughing at his trainer’s stupidity but in reality Jacob knew exactly what Hansel was doing and was just playing along with it. In all honesty Jacob loves to act heck he could’ve been an actor if he wanted to but it didn’t fit his personality too well, which is why he stuck with engineering. Who knows maybe he’ll pick it up later on as a career at some point in time? [break] [break] The medium was about to do the procedure until a Makuhita showed up. Narrowing his eyes, Jacob shook his head before getting up on his feet. “Alright Hansel wake up we need to take on this Makuhita.” When Hansel didn’t wake up, Jacob bent down to pick up his Mime and had launched him right at the Makuhita. “I said wake up!” Taking this opportunity, the Makuhita lifted up its arm then slammed it right into the Mime Jr. tossing it right back into Jacob’s hands. Jacob blinked at this sight before placing a smirk on his face. “Are we playing Baseball okay let’s go!” Jacob said before tossing his Mime once more and right when the Makuhita was about to use ARM THRUST again, Hansel woke up to use the move PSYCHIC and tossing it right into a tree! Hansel landed on his feet and would lift up its arms again to use the move PSYBEAM landing right into it and knocking it out! [break] [break] “I knew that would wake you up!” Jacob said however Hansel gave him a sharp glance before lifting up his arms to use the move PSYCHIC on his trainer. “What did I do?’ Jacob cried as his mine tossed him to the side and right when Jacob was about to be slammed into a tree, he quickly reacted by bouncing right off the tree and landing on his own two feet. The male shook his head before snapping his fingers at his partner. “It’s not my fault you didn’t want to fight!” The medium quickly moved to the side to dodge Hansel’s PSYBEAM! “Nice try oh you missed again! Zuri imagined three more of her with their brother. She had to admit she'd feel sorry for him. He was an idiot but he probably didn't need to hear it twenty-four-seven. She pondered whether if her actions were what made his stupid in the first place. One too many rough noogies killing off brain cells.
Though her thought was cut off. Yep, never mind she was no longer feeling sorry for him. She watched their cringe-worthy act like some bad children's play. She saw enough of those during the school year as sadly she had to support her students even if she just wanted to be at home watching TV. Should she clap and pretend to enjoy it too?
"Pretty sure the psychic would win," Zuri said as their act came to a close. The makuhita out cold several feet away. "Human psychic powers are rather weak compared to psychic pokemon. It's because we haven't evolved into the powers enough as a species." Selective breeding could really help the psychic process along but she was pretty sure people would call that inhumane.
"As it stands pokemon are superior as a species and yet choose to live alongside humans," Zuri said hearing a hiss. "Or technology has forced them into a symbiotic relationship." She corrected herself for the skorupi who had not chosen her. Another hiss had her staring at Jincan it took a moment but she knew what she wanted. With a click the skorupi was returned to her dark hidey hole in Zuri's pocket.
"If you really think about it there are over thousands of ways to die by pokemon alone. Burned alive, poisoned, drowned, ripped to shreds. We are truly lucky they are for the most part intelligent," Zuri said knowing there was always going to be the few exceptions.

Jacob narrowed his eyes while sighing underneath his breath since he knows darn fucking well Hansel would beat him up in a matter of seconds but at least he can try to be cool or something right? “Yeah I know that I’ve calculated it in my head who knows how many damn times. When I’m at home I always push myself to my limit just for science purposes.” He confessed hoping he could find away to push his medium powers even father. Sometimes it made him wonder if he should’ve became a professor or something. After all he does seem to be more interested in learning about medium powers. [break][break] In the end Jacob can’t fully decide on what to do. He likes being an engineer but sometimes he likes acting and then there are times he likes being a professor. It’s so damn confusing and yet he can’t figure out which route to go for. Like why do certain people have abilities similar to a psychic or ghost type Pokemon and how are the abilities formed? Ah shit he should’ve became a professor he is too into science this is a problem! [break][break] Meanwhile Hansel was pissed yeah he was mostly pissed at Jacob for tossing him around and getting whacked back and forth as if he was a fucking baseball like that’s uncool! Puffing his pink puffy cheeks the psychic type turned it’s head looking for some sort of punching bag and would you look at that a Mankey decided to come out to pick on the clown like Pokemon perfect! Hansel gave a evil smirk before surrounding the monkey with a blue like aura and tossing the monkey right into a tree and sending it flying into the sky! The psychic type dusted off its hands or paws whatever you like to call it before crossing his arms and storming off. Seems he was disappointed in something. He accepted her deduction though he seemed far from pleased about it. His next question had her pondering it a moment.
"I see no point in pushing it too far," Zuri replied. "Knowledge is one thing but if you press too much one day you may lose control. If that happens no one could help you if you are too strong. I'd rather keep my ability mediocre than risk going too far." A solid response in her opinion.
"I also tend to scare people so there's that as well," Zuri said watching his mime. Part of her was also scared of what she could do if she pushed too hard to fast. Whatever the case was she'd rather remain as is. She'd hate to experience her ability full blast it was the only reason she struggled so hard to bring it under control like she had.
"I'm the only medium in my family so I didn't have your guidance," she said spotting a sunkern lazing about under a tree. Jincan again maybe? No, the skorupi already made it clear she wanted to be in her pokeball. So with a click out came Monty. The duskull giving a grin and friendly wave towards Jacob.
"Go train on the sunkern," Zuri bobbed her head towards it. He gave a friendly salute before rushing at the sleepy sunkern astonishing it.
The sunkern gave a confused look before whistling very softly. Softly enough to make Monty bob and weave before drifting to the ground sound asleep. Zuri just shook her head turning back to Jacob. He'd handle it eventually.
"I suppose you could say I would rather play it safe than sorry. I've done my own research but there is nothing like having someone teach you personally. So I err on the side of caution," Zuri explained.
Monty meanwhile was hit with a nice beam of energy knocking him for a loop as the sunkern healed itself. Alright, time to get serious with one orb of darkness consuming them both he was able to knock out the grass type. He then dug a small hole and lightly buried it like a seed. making sure it could breathe but stay hidden. He then returned to his trainer grin and all as he silently plotted to scare the boy.

Her reasoning for it is quite understandable but just imagine the knowledge you can learn from it. That’s what Jacob doesn’t understand why she’s not into that stuff like learning more about a medium and where their powers come from and see if they could get their abilities up to their Pokemon level. That would be a great discover and just imagine the trainer and the Pokemon working together to stop crime with their abilities it’s just like one of those reality shows! How the hell is she not interested in all of that does she live under a rock? [break][break] Jacob crossed his arms as he tried to wrap his head around the situation. “So your not interested in that at all? I get where you’re coming from but don’t you want to get a little stronger and use your powers for greatness and learn as much as you can about your medium abilities?” The male narrowed his eyes wondering if he should say she is weird as fuck but decided to keep his mouth shut. “I guess everyone has their own opinions about that after all. I’m constantly learning as much as I can about the power of mediums. I’m prepping for that specific moment after all.” Especially when Team Virus comes after him now that will be a tragic and he knows darn well he’ll have to protect himself at all coast even if it means losing control of himself for a short period of time. He has to treat it like a life and death situation after all.
