Upon birth, she was thrown into the foster care system at a young age. Most of it was religiously funded and centric and to this day that seems to be a constant joke for her. She's always making the wrong sort of religious comments without thinking about how negatively that might affect somebody. She is not, however, religious, in any way. The opposite, as a matter of fact. She believes in Pokemon and People, and that's about it.[break][break] Eventually, she was taken out of foster care and into Enju City's Dance Dojo. One of the Geisha's adopted her as their own. Natalia grew to love Enju City and everything about it. But when she turned ten years old there was an accident within the Dojo. A few thugs came into the Dojo and tried to raid the dancers of their Pokemon. During the scuffle, Natalia lost her guardian, who had become like a mother to her. Try as she might have to push back against the threat, her own life was barely spared by a Ranger who swooped in to save the day.[break][break] Instead of being thrown back into the system, Natalia ran away. She ran as far as she could until she befriended a wild Pokemon. She took the Pokemon with her all the way to Kanto, where she finally stopped running and started to fight back with her Pokemon by her side. Having been a trainer at a young age, Natalia grew to adore Pokemon and respect them for so much more than what she had thought them to be when she was younger. She explored the Kanto region until she was old enough to try out for Ranger, which she did with gusto.[break][break] Trial after trial she proved to be the best her fields, working hard and keeping strong. Not that she had anything to prove to anybody but her biggest critic; herself. She pushed all the way to Captain. Once she heard about Virus in the Johto region, she felt herself being called home. Now, more serious friends? It honestly takes a lot for Natalia to trust people. She'll throw out that she's friends with somebody very quickly. But to become close? It takes a lot. Natalia has had a lot of relationships in her life, both close and far from her heart, and she's noticed that everything seems to die down eventually. She is no stranger to the toll time can take on a relationship and she's not naive enough to believe somebody can be your 'bestie' for all of eternity.[break][break] Yes, she has trust issues, it's fine. But will she be friendly toward anybody? Absolutely. And she's social to boot! Will she call any of them when she's in a crisis? Of course not, because she's an emotional hermit. It's fine. But once you get onto the bad list, it's pretty well over for you. She's the sort of person who tends to hold her friends close and her enemies closer.
