The Forest Pokémon effortlessly escaped the banter and vision of his human. He was now free to roam, free to 'jungle parkour' and explore the encampment without the 'annoying' banter of the teenage Fighter he respected and trusted. In the midst of a stylish swing to a low hanging tree trunk, Sceptile hung from the thick and sturdy vein—descending down with the steady eyes of a cold blooded predator fixated dead ahead in the grass. Ahead stood a Wooper fighting another Wooper—the Wooper Sceptile noticed first winning the little tussle; standing over the other Wooper who seemed to be struggling to get back on two feet. That was until the victorious Wooper spat out giant orbs of harden mud into the back of the defeated Wooper, the action humiliating and only adding further insult to injury. This Wooper was a complete and total bully; laughter and all as it simply stared and continued to taunt the other as it tried to crawl away. Sceptile, being known as a Protector simply couldn't let this continue, so, the cunning Grass type descends down upon the grass and approaches the bully Pokémon from the flank.

The Forest Pokémon extends his left arm forward, a green energy twisting down the arm before shooting out towards the unsuspecting Water Pokémon. A net made of pure energy wraps around the much smaller Pokémon, Wooper panics before having a large amount of its energy sapped and siphoned back into Sceptile. Once the action was complete, the net of energy quickly dissipates with the wild Pokémon turning around to face the Forest Pokémon. Wooper growls before spitting a volley of Mud Bombs at the agile Grass type. Sceptile easily evades these futile attacks, each dodge bringing him closer to the haphazard Pokémon. within a striking range of roughly ten meters, Wooper leaps back and prepares for another volley of Mud Bombs. However, before the first of this next attack could be shot, Sceptile charged forward with unparalleled speed, closed the ten meter distance within the blink of an eye, and attacked the little Pokémon with a Leaf Blade housing enough power to render the tiny beast incapable of further battle. Wooper tumbles back a few steps before collapsing forward, eyes closed with little groans coming from a tiny body every now and again. With that pointless battle out of the way, Sceptile makes sure the victim Wooper is okay and sees the friendly little Pokémon off with a smile. As he does this Chancelor and Pikachu finally catch up.

"What the hell happened here?" Chance adresses Sceptile, the Forest Pokémon turning around to face the duo he had left not too long ago. The golden eyes of the reptile averted off the human and fell on the toppled Water type, the unconscious Wooper simply laying in the soft grass and completely unresponsive. "I know you, Boss. You don't just attack without having a good reason. So I ain't gonna' look too far into it, just be a little careful, y'know? This is an encampment after all." Chance walks past the Grass type with amble steps, a friendly hand patting the bony, skinny, and scaly shoulder of the lizard as he passes. However, as he passes, a tiny puppy emerges from a nearby bush and looks directly at the reunited trio, tail wagging with a head tilted to one side. "Look at this. A Lillipup, one that looks like he wanna' test his mettle." Chance looks back at Sceptile who had his eyes locked on the Puppy Pokémon. "He probably saw you do whatever you did and figured you'd be a good opponent, y'know? Though, if that really is the case. You're gonna have to sit this one out and hand it over to our girl." Sceptile agrees with a nod, Chance takes hold of a PokéBall clipped upon the hip and summons his Lucario.

The female jackal stood in front of her human, looking dead ahead at the Lilipup with a tilted head of her own. Without even a moment of hesitation on the pups part, it sprung into action and charged directly at Lucario with reckless abandon. It dove head first into the armored chest of the brawling canine. This Giga Impact was enough to send her sliding back a few feet, but the damage was practically nonexistent due to armored fur. Squinting red eyes, Lucario began moving her hands around, gathering the aura that resonated all around her. A blue sphere formed into the palm of the jackal, once fully formed, she slings it directly at the puppy—an homing attack the little thing wouldn't be able to evade. The sphere collides and Lilipup yelps in pain. Unable to win the battle, per usual, the hound admits defeat and flees. Leaving the party alone to continue on with their way until another interruption stumbles upon them.

A wild Pancham descended from a trunk of a tree down to the extremely soft grass below—the Playful Pokémon hiding 'expertly' within the lush green leaves waiting for the prime opportunity to 'strike'. The black and white Pokémon leered at the party, 'daunting' eyes fixed upon each and every one of them as he slowly leered at them one by one. Lucario, still being the Pokémon in front took a step forward, the fear the little Pancham was trying to instill obviously not working on her or the other two Pokémon accompanying the human. The two-colored Pokémon took a step back, taken back by the lack of fear, but then sneaky laughter ejected from the parted lips of the bear Pokémon—a trademarked leaf resting firmly on the right side of his bottom lip. "Pancham usual have more bark than they do bite, but this one seems ready to bite even if the bark ain't enough to get the job done." The hazel eyes of the prodigy fixate on the back of Lucario, "we need to fight troublemaker with troublemaker. You can sit this out, alright? Pikachu got this." Upon hearing this, Pikachu looked at Chance before looking dead ahead at the Pancham. With a lazy sigh, the Electric type leaped from the shoulder of Chance to Lucario and then done to the grass—using both of them as stepping stones to get closer.

"Yo, don't go too hard on the kid now, alright?" Pikachu dismisses the words of Chance with the wave of a hand before gesturing the Fighting type to take the first move. Pancham does just that, running forward rather slowly brandishing powerful fists capable of crushing stone and bone with a single hit. The adorable little mouse recognized the power of such fists and knew getting hit by one of those powerful bludgeons could spell trouble for a Pokémon such as himself—a Pokémon with only so much natural bulk and durability. So, before the punches could even make contact, the cunning mouse used Double Team, creating a bunch of afterimages of himself that circled all around the Fighting type in a type of sphere-esque dome. Pancham could do nothing but attack the various images, punches and kicks being thrown at each one within range. Unbeknownst to the Brawling Bear, Pikachu was directly above him, a tail coated with energy akin to the type of energy one would find in the middle of a thunder storm. Descending down upon the Playful Pokémon, an powerful tail smacked it right on top of the head sending an intense current of electricity through its little body and rendering him unable to continue battling. "I said go easy... Damn." With that said, Chance took one of the three specially designed PokéBalls bestowed upon him and attempted to catch the Playful Pokémon.
