In hindsight, he probably should have known it would have been an horrible idea to bring both Pancham and Crabrawler on this little 'adventure'—both Pokémon were just too drastically different when it came to one another. Crabrawler, being a new addition to the until, is still getting to know all the other Pokémon while learning to adapt to Chancelor and how he operates as a Trainer and martial-artist. crabrawler's only mean in this world is to fight tough Pokémon and master the fighting style common with his species of Pokémon. Being with Chancelor and around other Pokémon and like minded individuals that share a similar goal is good for the Boxing Crab—slowly but surly he is opening up and beginning to see there is more to life than throwing blows and constantly searching for the next big challenge. A Pokémon like Crabrawler takes time and respect, two things Pancham seem unable to give to the Brawling Crab. Pancham is a troublemaker, a Pokémon that much rather cause trouble than practice fighting. Crabrawler is an easy target for the bear, but when the crab fails to give the bear the reaction he seeks, that's when the tension flies and the two are ready to brawl due to both of them getting annoyed with one another.

"Like I'm dealin' with children." Suddenly, Pancham stomps forward, little legs carrying him forward towards an object that appeared to be a discarded PokéBall. However, Chancelor and Pikachu knew better than to fall for the oldest trick in the book. "Oh, Boss. That ain't no Po-," the wild Voltorb turns to face the Pancham but is almost instantly bombarded by heavy fists upon doing so. Heavy punch after heavy punch makes the sphere Pokémon punch drunk—dazed with no chance of breaking the spell any time soon. Suddenly the wild Voltorb beings to pulsate and glow, a clear sign of an explosion soon to come. Though, that was when Pancham scooped the sphere up in his arms, spun around to obtain speed and momentum, and tossed the wild Pokémon high in the sky—sending it soaring way past the top of the trees. At the highest peak of the throw, the Voltorb explodes in a grand display of electrical discharge and raw physical power.

"Damn, son. That was a good ass toss." Chancelor praises, eyes still on the cloud hanging above them. Pancham looks back at his Trainer with a grin, eyes then shift over to the Crabrawler who is still looking unimpressed and uninterested.

An armored snail falls from the tree due to the crazy explosion overhead. This armored bug lands directly in front of Crabrawler who takes this as an challenged being issued. The Pokémon in question was a Shelmet—a Shelmet that defended its face by lowering the helmet like piece of armor over its head. Crabrawler fixed himself into a southpaw boxing stance, huge claw like boxing gloves protecting the face as he began to bounce from left to right. Normally Chance would have ceased such unwarranted aggression towards another Pokémon, but he wanted to see how the Brawling Boxer would fare fighting against a Pokémon with an impenetrable defense. Pancham, who is still leading the march turns around and sees the Boxer on the verge of attacking the Shelmet. Wanting to prove himself, the panda was fixing to interrupt the 'battle' and take the Shelmet out himself. However, before the troublemaker could even preform a single action, Pikachu pinned the mischievous bear down to the ground and watched the exchange between both the bug and the crab while Pancham struggled to free himself.

The Boxing Crab dances circles around Shelmet, looking for an opening yet not finding a single one. He then throws a single jab forward with the right pincer, the jab swift, powerful, and executed flawlessly. The strike simply bounces off the armored hide of the Bug type and appears to have done not even a single ounce of damage. Crabrawler takes a few steps back, punches the air, steps into the Bug type, and unleashes a flurry of punches—jabs, hooks, and uppercuts with each blow being even more powerful than the last. This onslaught of punches cased the helmet of Shelmet to swing wide open, the lips of the Bug type spitting out a type of acid at the Boxer that happened to be blocked with twin pincers still protecting the face. The spitting of the liquid made it the perfect chance for the crab to counter attack. Crabrawler unleashed a haymaker with a giant pincer, the attack slamming directly into the face of the Shelmet and sending it tumble back with cracked armor with one massive dint in it. Defeated, Chancelor grabs one of three safari capture devices and attempts to capture the wild Pokémon.

"You held it down, M'Boy. Truthfully there wasn't much he coulda' done against ya', but your form was flawless, and style was poppin'." The Fighter praises the crab as he walks over to receive the used capture device with the now Bug type resting within it. Crabrawler pays virtually little mind to the praise given to him—for he is far to busy perfecting his art and shadow boxing with himself. "I swear, all you wanna' do is punch shit and beat ass. I mean I respect it, but damn..." Off to the left, Pikachu and Pancham were still tussling with Pancham finally managing to free himself from the pin of Pikachu. The adorable panda raises up to his feet and leers at the Boxing Crab with eyes raging with hostility and yearning to best the Pokémon. Again, before Pancham could take any sort of real hostile action, Pikachu leaps on the back of the bear and pins him down again—the electric mouse beginning to get annoyed at this blatant aggression and hostility. "What sorta' demon has gotten in to you, Boss?" Chancelor approaches his struggling Pancham. "You've been actin' rather reckless lately, is there anything you needa' talk to me about? You know I'm all ears, right?"

That was when the sound of Crabrawler punching something sturdy and hard interrupted the little 'moment' before human and Pokémon. All eyes were on the Boxing Crab who seemed to be facing off against a wild Squirtle that appeared out of virtually nowhere. The shelled Pokémon expertly used its extremely hard shell to block and nullify a bunch of the punches thrown by the Boxer. Each blow blocked, the swift Squirtle would counter with a tail an back coated in a raging water. Crabrawler managed to block these powerful blows with his impenetrable defense, but each tackle and hit with the tail caused the Brawling Crab to skid back a little at at a time. With gloves moved away from the face due to the intense blow, Squirtle took this opportunity to go for a brutal Skull Bash. The shelled Pokémon withdrew into its large shell and gathered energy. Crabrawler took notice of this and began to sway from left to right, fists moving back into position as his left hand prepared to unleash one mighty blow to end it all. When the hard head of Squirtle ejected from his shell, Crabrawler unleashed a Close Combat—a single punch aimed at the head of Squirtle. The punch stopped the Water type dead in its track, a massive sound booming through the entire preservation. Squirtle reels back, ears ringing and popping before it topples backwards in defeat. "With a little guidance this Squirtle could be a real terror." Chancelor says, instinctively attempting to capture the shelled Water type.

"Damn and you just keep on goin', huh?"

Chancelor bends down to retrieve the camouflaged capture device with a firm grip—hazel eyes remaining locked on the Boxing Crustacean who went back to shadow boxing due to not having another challenger for the time being. "You got a drive I ain't never seen before, Boss, and I'm still tryin' to figure out if that is a good thing or a bad thing." The Fighter openly admits to the Brawling Crab who paid the words of the human very little mind. Truthfully, Chancelor knew exactly how to handle this very specific Crabrawler due to the fact both him and the Fighting type had almost the exact same disposition when it came to fighting and seeking even greater challenges. He respected the creed, the drive and granite like willpower of the Crabrawler gifted to him by his oldest brother back in the Alola region, but such a dangerous drive and 'narrow-minded' view of fighting and the world lead down a path of self destruction and loneliness—a path he himself unknowingly traversed. "Yo," the martial-artist calls out to the still-punching crab. Crabrawler looks up at the human, body swaying from side to side as he continued practicing his stance and footwork. "Pancham is super upset at you for not playing along with his lil' 'stunt, y'know? Maybe you should try to make amends, aight'? I mean, between me and you, he highkey looks up to ya' and wants to impress you."

Crabrawler takes in the words of Chancelor, hands still held up, body still swaying, but the harden eyes of the crustacean were locked firmly on the human before him. A Blitzle would interrupt this little moment between both Pokémon and human, a spear of thunder landing right between the both of them to make its majestic presence known. The Boxing Crab fixes his eyes of the electric zebra, punches his pincers together, and begins to move towards it with claws held up in an attempt to protect precious vital points. The wild Blitzle was pleased upon being acknowledged and charged directly at the smaller crab, mane and body coated in hellish flames. Holding his ground, Crabrawler intercepted the fiery charge with an increased physical defense alongside a well placed punch at one of the legs of the zebra. Blitzle cries in pain, buckling at the knees with the head hanging low enough for Crabrawler to reach and tag. Like a punching bag, punch after brutal punch slugged and cracked the unprotected head of the wild Blitzle. In no time at all—after a handful of seconds, the poor Pokémon found itself punch drunk and defeated, toppling off to the side with yet another victory under the belt of the Pugilist Pokémon.

Watching the crab in action seemed to never get old in the slightest. Every wild Pokémon that stepped up to the plate got knocked down respectfully. With the Blitzle being the latest 'victim', Crabrawler swayed around in place, punching the air with extreme speed until he saw something dead ahead he had no reason seeing. A few feet ahead was a Ditto, examining and admiring the strength of the Pugilist. This admiration seemed to have virtually little end because the DNA Pokémon shamelessly morphed into the crab and began to mimic his movements. Needless to say, Crabrawler didn't like this sudden turn of events and moved towards the 'imposter' with arms tucked in while protecting vitals how a real Boxer would.

He punches forward, attempting to slug the morphed Ditto with a chopping right, but the Ditto simply blocks the punch and counters with a punch of its own. Crabrawler, being a Brawler in his own right effortlessly blocked this sudden counter while pressing onward. This began to look like a real boxing match, both Pokémon engaged in a type of 'dance' with neither side showing no sign of faltering to the other. Pikachu and Pancham watched this engagement, both Pokémon gaining more respect for the rather serious Boxing Crab—seeing his love and respect for the sport of Boxing truly shine up against an opponent worthy of his skill and practice.

Large pincers flew wildly from both sides, each Pokémon reading the other and evading and dodging accordingly. Ditto threw a hook punch, Crabrawler swiftly stepped into the strike and unleashed a jaw shattering uppercut. This was the first hit to fully make contact on both sides, the 'imposter' being completely rattled by the punch and staggering back with a dropped guard. The Brawling Crab kept up the pressure, blow after blow now finally making full contact upon an exposed face time and time again. This onslaught of punches continued with a mighty pincer landing the final hit and sending the now deformed Ditto flying off into the distance. It may have been able to copy Crabrawler's appearance, techniques, and even skills to a certain extent. However, the only thing it would never be able to imitate is the passion Crabrawler has for the art of Pugilism.
