It was early in the morning. He'd wake up at the top of dawn for this day. Hearing about the many gyms in Choji Town, he decided to head over to one and see if he could train his pokemon a little. He had gotten some fresh meat. A Squirtle, a Ditto, and a Blitzle, and now he was looking to test out their skills. The first step, though, Arashi had to choose someone to challenge. [break][break] He looked around the gym, trying to find someone to challenge. He'd done this before, at the start of his journey. For some reason, he'd challenge a short, small breasted, hot-headed orange haired girl. Her pokemon was far stronger than Arashi's at the time, and the battle had nearly ended in his pokemon's defeat. He didn't want that to happen again. Thus, he made sure that he would actually choose someone nice to test in battle. [break][break] With that being said, Arashi walked up to the first person he could see in the gym and said "Excuse me, would you like to have a battle with me? I want to test out a couple of my pokemon." He wasn't used to talking to other people, so he was a bit shy and nervous. He didn't want the trainer to say no, but he didn't want the trainer to go completely ballistic and hurt his pokemon either. [break][break] Hopefully, this person that he just asked would be nice and willing to work with him. She didn't label herself as a pokemon master, but she had an understanding of pokemon that came with being a McQueen. But they entertained her at least, and they let her train on the mats physically as well. It wasn't everywhere that she could feel free enough to do both. [break][break] There on the floor, she sat crossed legged, --her Lucario at her side, mimicking her sitting position. They were 'meditating', or at least Lucario was; she was thinking about changing out of her gym suit and getting something to eat. Either way, their silence was soon to be broken by an overzealous individual. [break][break] One emerald eye opened, eyeing up the young man. "You arn't going to rob me are you?" she asked, noticing his peculiar choice of attire. It was a question she seemed to ask any suspicious character, as if she had something to protect from an everyday thief. [break][break] A rather loud huff from Lucario caused her to grimace before standing, "Haha sorry bout that. Gotta be careful ya know, don't know just who you could run into." Resting her hands on her hips she finally recognized the question he asked prior and she grinned, "Sure they can spare a bit. I'm not a good match for Lucario alone so he never has any fun with me. Was he going to rob her? Of course, the thought of robbing someone always crossed his mind. If he could, would he be a good thief? It was an interesting query, honestly. Arashi thought that he would be an excellent thief, at least. All of those practices of sneaking into the woman's bathroom had made him an excellent infiltrator. Though, he had enough strikes on his record already. He didn't need to go to jail because of thievery too. [break][break] Luckily, the girl agreed for him to spar with her Lucario. Wait... A Lucario?! [break][break] "No way!" Arashi said as he happily inspected the aura pokemon. "That's a Lucario! They are so cool." He smiled at the girl. "You're lucky to have one of them." [break][break] When the girl asked to see Arashi's pokemon, he nodded to her. [break][break] "Alright guys, front and center." he said as he tossed three Safari balls into the air. Out came a Squirtle, a Ditto, and a Blitzle. They all gave a cry when they were summoned, letting out a bit of energy with their appearance. Though, the moment the Blitzle realized where it was, it immediately hid behind Arashi and began shaking in fear. Apollo was his name, and he was very fearful of areas with a lot of people. [break][break] Poseidon, the Squirtle, stared at the girl who Arashu challenged. More importantly, he stared at the girl's chest. That got Arashi a bit nervous. Normally, Poseidon would attack any woman who had huge breasts. Arashi didn't know why, but his perverted pokemon just liked resting on two big mounds. It was a personality Arashi would need to fix. However, after inspecting the girl's body, the Squirtle turned his head and gave a disappointed sigh. He wouldn't attack this girl. [break][break] Oh... Arashi finally understood it. She has small breasts, so he won't harass her. Arashi will note this for later. [break][break] "Well... These are my new pokemon. I just caught them, so I just want to test out what they can do." Arashi turned his head and spotted an empty battleground far off to the side. "There." he said. Lips spread into a smile, "Lucario is more like my brother; my dad gave him to me when I was little, we practically grew up together, and whats more' my bother has his kit-sister and my dad owns their parents. Family tradition I suppose." Was it strange to have such a fulfilling connection with a pokemon? [break][break] He promptly summoned his three pokemon, and in his line up was a blitzle, a ditto, and a --a squirtle. Her pulse quickened slightly at the sight of the water pokemon. She knew it was not his but she couldn't prevent the small intake of air that came with her surprise. She missed him, and everyday reminders like this were a blessing, ...and a curse. [break][break] She exhaled, nodding in agreement before moving to the battle ground. On the way she grabbed her small backpack and jacket, pulling her iconic red blazer over her shoulders before reaching into her bag for her pokeballs. From it's mouth she pulled out two, already having the Lucario at her side. Releasing her two remaining partners, her eyes glanced at the Luxray and Golduck. [break][break] She had other pokemon in her bag, but these two were the more... --safe choices from her list. She knew that her Salazzle would attempt to melt the entire building along with crushing his pokemon. She wasn't here to punk some young kids outta their pokemon, he showed an interest in learning, and that peaked her curiosity. [break][break] Naturally, the proud Luxray scoffed at the presence of the Golduck and Lucario, knowing that HE alone, was more than enough to battle with. He never appreciated the company of other pokemon, and Jo didn't care that he put himself forward to battle the stranger first. His intimidating presence was sure to gain everyone's attention. [break][break] "You can have the first move, I want to see how fast your pokemon are," she said, inclined to study the way he commanded his pokemon. [attr="class","alohabottom"]

That was just perfect. None of Arashi's pokemon selected could possibly handle that thing. Well... There was one, but could he really use that one pokemon now? It seemed so soon. [break][break] There wasn't really much for Arashi in regards to options, so why not? [break][break] Arashi looked down at the tiny ditto that stood near him. "Hermes, you're up." he said. The ditto gave a snicker, then hopped its way over to the battlefield. [break][break] Hermes immediately felt the influence of Intimidate as the Luxray gave out a mean look. This made the Ditto flinch back a little. [break][break] "Don't let it frighten you, Hermes!" [break][break] Mustering up some courage, Hermes warily looked forward into the Luxray's eyes. [break][break] "Let's go, Hermes! Transform!" [break][break] The Ditto heard his trainer loud and clear. With a mischevious smile, Hermes changed its appearance. Its body morphed in a very strange way, changing color and even growing fur. It completely changed into the being in front of it, copying everything, even the voice of the Luxray. [break][break] After the transformation was complete, Hermes gave one hell of an Intimidating roar. Its arrogant smile didn't leave, and it stared at the Luxray with complete confidence. Now, Hermes believed that it could win. [break][break] "Alright, we'll start first. Hermes, use Bite!" [break][break] Hermes roared in confirmation. It kicked its legs, moving with a full burst of speed right at the start. It made a B-Line directly for the Luxray. Once it was close, it would reach out with its sharp teeth and wrap its jaws around the Luxray's leg for a terrifying Bite.
