★ I've got that lightnin' inside me.
If one was to ask Vash what he remembered most about his childhood. He'd probably say being a brat.
Vash didn't feel loved by his family. His mother fawned over his sister and his father fawned over his brothers prepping for them to take over the business. Vash was just an extra in the movie that was his own life. He'd sit in the background watching his family as he played with the toys they got him on a regular basis.
The TV in his room was almost always turned on to drown out the silence. His eyes playfully watching as a little girl and aipom traveled around solving problems and speaking a foreign language from time to time. He was always pretending that was him traveling around being a hero. Not the child alone in his room most the day.
He only acted up when his parents were around wanting their attention. There was no point unless they were in the same room. He'd throw his toys or talk back like he hadn't grown out of his two-year-old phase. All because they had no time for him.
It wouldn't be until much later Vash realized how hard running a business was. Let alone raising his three-year-old sister at the time. At that point of time, he was the center of his world.
They constantly bought him new things to appease the boy. His mother often taking him out shopping with her and his sister. He could never get alone time with her not that he cared much when he was in a store. Since all the bright lights, tall shelves and bunches of toys awaited him in the kid's aisles.
When he turned six though his trouble started getting worse. His sister now four was starting to be left to her own devices while their mother went back to work as a wedding planner. Leaving him to sort of watch over her with the maids. A task he would come to hate.
