After wandering around the safari for a while it felt like there wasn't going to be any pokemon showing up. She only had a limited time to find the pokemon after all - as Jackie took off into the air she went to possibly scout. Percy wondered if they were all further into the middle of the terrain, it was either that or she had arrived too late and many of them were sleeping. This was a Safari though she expected it to be crawling with these pokemon but it wasn't. Then again she was sure as friendly as they were - they were still wild and untamed. Making them wary of trainers to begin with. It wasn't until then her head snapped up to Jackie frantically flapping her wings. "Jackie what is it?" Percy was a little confused - as if the pokemon was trying to warn her about something. Was someone or a pokemon hurt? Then Jackie flew behind Percy and a Scyther burst from the tall grass. Hissing with its long tendrils forward, Percy went wide eyed and terrified. Tucker tried to counter just in time but the sharp scythes on the arms of the pokemon dug into Percy's right arm. Cutting open a wound as she tripped backwards. It wasn't a dangerous wound but the surprise of the pain was seering. Percy winced as she saw the raged Scyther looking at her in rage. She wondered if it had been trying to attack Jackie and accidentally got her.

"Okay now, let's not be hasty." Percy chuckled as the pain of the scratch finally settled in. Blood soaked into the torn fabric as she pressed her free hand against it. The Scyther let out an angry screech but not before another pokemon popped up from the ground. Snapping and growling at the Scyther the small creature stood between Percy her pokemon and the Scyther. For a moment Percy honestly couldn't believe that a Sandile was even in the safari. But the creature was determined to fend off the Scyther from her, snapping at it again the Scyther decided that a three against one battle wasn't worth it. Quickly flying off as Percy looked at her arm. Great... this was a new shirt. Regardless she reached into her bag and wrapped the wound in a small bit of gause. She usually carried a small first aid kit due to her clumsiness to begin with.

When she stood she looked to the Sandile in question, smiling towards him. "Thank you so much." she said as the Sandile wagged its little tail. Then though his attention stood towards Jackie. Almost challenging even as Jackie came forward. The two talked between each other for a moment. Percy didn't understand what they were saying but... she was interested in what was going on. "Jackie?" when the bird returned she looked at Percy with a determined look. As she looked back to the sandile it snapped its jaws and crouched lower to the ground. It seemed that the pokemon had challenged each other to a battle. All right then. Percy would use her first pokeball against the sandile anyway.

"Okay!" Percy smiled as Jackie released herself into the air, determined to catch up to tucker of course. They also had the advantage if the dark type had ground type moves. "You can do first mr sandile." Percy encouraged even. The Sandile was quick to jump into the air, surprisingly enough it had powerful hind limbs. Without even realizing an assurance was administered towards Jackie. The bird went tumbling to the ground as Percy's jaw dropped. The Sandile hissed and wiggled his tail back and forth. This was going to be harder than she thought. Jackie shook off the attack and rose narrowing her eyes at the pokemon.

"Alright Jackie try a Quick Attack" Percy ordered as the pokemon was more than ready. Her Starly began to move at a fast rate, too fast for the Sandile to see. As from his side the Starly tackled onto him, sending the reptile rolling as he shook himself trying to recover. As the reptile charged, a screech came from it - speaking something she couldn't understand. Torment, the move was an enigma. It meant that Percy wouldn't be able to use the same move in a row. That was fine, she didn't enjoy doing that anyway.

"Use Aerial Ace now!" The Starly after shaking off the fear from the torment, sliced through the Sandile. The small creature falling backwards. Battered and cut, Percy felt like it was time. She wanted it to be perfect but she also didn't want to risk fainting the pokemon. As she threw the safari ball the Sandile looked at her almost approvingly as the red light engulfed the pokemon. The pokeball began to shake back and forth and all Percy could do was pray her little savior went into her arms.

The pokeball clicked and Percy was quick to go and pick it up. A smile on her face as she thought about the little Sandile saving her. She would name him Snappy for that reason, snapped at the Scyther. She looked to the bandage on her arm as her Starly rejoined her. Tucker as well from him previously been landed elsewhere after being startled. Well they still had two pokeballs and she hadn't gotten what she had come here for just yet. Plus this place was a lot more beautiful than she thought. Turning in the opposite direction she tried to avoid the area where she had been attacked. Wondering silently if it was something worth reporting. After all if the pokemon really was aggressive she didn't think it belonged in the safari did it? Regardless she shook it off, petting Jackie as she pulled into her pocket and handed her a small seed as a treat. Along with Tucker, regardless of how he reacted she didn't really mind. She was alright in the end.

"Let's see what else we run into guys." who knows perhaps she could use a potion on her dear Sandile friend and use him in a battle. He seemed to have a knack for it, jumping like he had in order to get to Jackie. She came out of the deep grass and into a much shorter area with a few bodies of water. Big enough to house their lapras population most likely or any other water types they happened to have here. Percy moved through the grass and looked at the tree's around her. This place was honestly beautiful, no wonder pokemon loved to live here. They were well fed and well taken care of she was proud to have a chance to catch pokemon here.

A Munchlax appeared, making Percy perk up. Not exactly what she was looking for, so she did suppose it was Tucker's chance to get a little bit of battling in. Percy smiled to Tucker, releasing the hoothoot forward as the Munchlax looked suspiciously at them as percy did suppose that they would be getting the first attack then. "Alright Tucker go in for a Confusion." Percy told the bird hoping that confusion would stick. As The bird let out a ray of confusion, knocking into the Munchlax's cheek the pokemon shook it off and glared at them. Not confused but a little hurt the pokemon retaliated rather quickly. Rolling out toward the bird, hitting the hoothoot in the face with its attack. Percy flinched for a moment, there was no way they were going to let this munchlax get the best of them.

"Zen Headbutt Tucker." Percy called out as the hoothoot cooed. A bright pink ring glowing on his head before he dive bombed into the Munchlax. The pokemon stumbled backwards, arms flailing but he stayed strong. He was not going to be taken down as easily as Percy wanted that much was for certain. However, she had a trump card on her sleeve and it usually worked but she knew that it was almost like a scapegoat. The Munchlax shot forward and licked the hoothoot. Tucker became covered - as percy gasped in worry it seemed the owl shook it off just fine narrowly escaping a paralysis. "Use hypnosis Tucker" Percy called out as the owl tried to get as close as he could for munchlax.

The munchlax didn't quiet know what was going on. Not at least until it was asleep. "Use echoed voice now!" before she could say it again, the hoothoot released the attack onto the munchlax. The noise loud and bound to attract the nearby pokemon after they were done. As the attack came in for a second blow - the Munchlax gave sleeping turned into an unconscious creature. Percy breathed as she watched Tucker return to her. "Alright this way." she said as they continued to the nearby tree near a pond.

The Scyther from earlier seemed to have found them again. The Pokemon jumped out and looked demanding of a fight. Making Jackie shake her feather angrily. There was no way they were going to let it escape this time. Percy could see that the scyther was strong though she wasn't sure if her starly would be able to handle the pokemon. While Tucker was injured he was much more equipped than she was at handling such an opponent. "Alright Tucker use Hypnosis!" Percy called out quickly. Not wasting the time as the Scyther moved off to the side hiding into the tree so the hoothoot could not use the attack on him. Percy growled in frustration, as the Scyther jumped out it hit Tucker with pursuit. The Hoothoot hurt flew backwards panting on Percy's shoulder. They would be in trouble if they weren't careful.

"Tucker use Roost." Tucker had feathers fly all around him. The white thin things confused the Scyther sending it to take a few steps back as Tucker regained some of his health. At least now he could keep going. Out of the cloud of feathers the Scyther came, knocking Percy back as she didn't want to get sliced again. The speed of the attack made her assume it was a quick attack. However Tucker was quick to recover as he hooted. Flying higher in the air as Percy collided with the ground. "Zen headbutt!" she called out as Tucker dive bombed into the Scyther. Finally getting a hit in the pokemon stumbled backwards and hit the tree behind it. The attack wasn't super effective but it still seemed to hurt. The Scyther narrowed its eyes, opening its wings and aiming for a wing attack. Tucker rolled - flying into the air to avoid the attack. Percy smiled, a good dodge but she doubted they'd get a chance like that again.

"Try hypnosis now Tucker!" the Scyther wasn't near anything to cover itself. As it blinked the scyther turned as Tucker hit it with the hypnotic ray. Swaying the pokemon collapsed to the ground. "Alright now Echoed Voice!" Percy ordered out as the hoothoot let loose the voice with a vengence. "Again and then a Peck" once more the more powerful voice echoed on itself. As the hoothoot rose, the scyther snapped out of its sleeping state. Panting in pain as it looked up to the hoothoot, still groggy as the owl came down with his beak. Causing the scyther to stumble backwards and hit the ground. Still clinging however, it released another quick attack. Making Tucker fly backwards as Percy cursed under her breath but it was done for.

"Use peck one more time finish him off." Tucker was quick to take out the beast. Returning to Percy panting for his life as she proudly stroked him. That was an intense fight, but here they were as the victors. Carefully she pulled out a potion and sprayed Tucker with it. The owl shook and shivered, happy to have his cuts and bruises tended to. After all Percy knew that if she kept fighting him like that it would be hard. "I promise you'll get the next one Jackie." Percy said the pouting starly.

Another Sandile appeared out of the grass, while Percy was thankful she wasn't exactly after another sandile. She couldn't afford not to be picky in here. She looked to Jackie as the starly cawed out, happy to be the one fighting this time. Highly considering that she had hardly had any spot light this time around. She needed to grow just as Tucker did. "Alright then, hit him with an Aerial Ace to start then!" she told the starly as Jackie flapped upwards. The Sandile looked confused for a moment, looking up and simply watching as the pokemon came down. Hitting him directly on his head as he rolled off to the side. Hissing in the sudden feeling of pain. He raised his head and snapped his jaws, obviously angry about the sudden assault. Percy felt the ground begin to shake, the plates underneath her moving about as an earthquake was released. It was too late for the pokemon to realize that the Starly was far too high in the air for the ground type attack to even work. Percy did trip but it was to no concern of hers.

"Alright now go in for a quick attack" Percy called as the Starly came down fast. The Sandile lost sight of her, backing up slightly as the bird hit him directly on the head her sharp beak poking into him. He opened his jaws and bit down on the small bird pokemon. The attack making her thrash as she escaped with some torn feathers, she huffed in the air as Percy watched her. "Use Growl." Percy wanted to make sure not a lot more attacks like that happened. As Jackie growled at the sandile it shifted off to the side, trying to figure out a way to get to that darn flying pokemon. It made a scary face - and Jackie shivered but it was no use. Percy didn't plan on letting the pokemon escape.

"Aerial Ace and watch out for that bite, and then Quick attack one more time." Percy called as the ace came down quickly. Sure enough the sandile tried to snap at the bird, but she managed to sqeeze past him. Her speed already rising, as then she came from the side. Sending the sandile flying and fainted. Percy stood up again and smiled, Jackie huffed and landed on her shoulder. See, now her pokemon were plenty of happy with the exercise that they were getting. "Good job" percy pet the pokemon as they continued to walk.

This time it was a Lapras that came out of the water. Splashing about as Percy looked at the creature. Both of her birds were tired out, as Percy returned them to their pokeballs she looked back to the Lapras. The pokemon didn't seem to be aggressive but she needed it out of her way in order to move on. Now was the time - she send out Snappy the new sandile. As the creature happily showed itself, tail wiggling behind her she looked back to Percy with a smile. "Alright Snappy let's whip up a sandstorm, show that Lapras we mean business." Snappy began to wave her tail on the ground. As sand began to pick up and a storm began. Percy tried to cover her face as the storm brewed, the Lapras noticing this called out in anger. Rushing towards them as the sandstorm caused them damage. A Water pulse went through to hit the Sandile, but snappy didn't care. She shook the attack off and hissed to the other.

"Sand Tomb Snappy." Water types were weak against ground type moves. As Snappy let the sand harden and fall onto the lapras the pokemon took more damage from the sand storm. Hurt and weakened the pokemon made an attempt to release a Confuse Ray. Snappy was quick to dodge the attack, aware of the ray and its slow accuracy as Percy watched and breathed in relief. That could have ended badly if that had hit Snappy. "Alright Snappy Use Assurance, and then another Sand Tomb." The Sandile shot forward, jumping once more and her hands slapped the Lapras. Making the water type recoil, narrowing its eyes at the Sandile throwing an ice shard at her. The Sandile was thrown back, before getting back up against and releasing another sand tomb upon the Lapras.

The last attack pressured the lapras, the sand storm taking the rest of the health that it had. The pokemon fainted, moving back into the waters as the storm continued. Percy waited until it subsided and looked towards Snappy, the pokemon waddling up to her as Percy pet the creature on the head. "Thanks girl." she praised as a smile crossed her face. Percy was glad she added Snappy to her team. She was a fierce fighter. Soon the storm subsided and Percy picked Snappy up to continue walking, holding the pokemon close to her chest.
