WANTED AD [attr="class","femme-tag"]ROLE CHILDHOOD FRIEND | OBLIVIOUS ROMANCE [attr="class","femme-tag"]AGE: 16 to 18 Years Old [attr="class","femme-tag"]FACTION: Coordinator, Professor, Ranger [Detective]. [attr="class","femme-tag"]FACE CLAIM: Makise Kurisu [attr="class","femme-tag"] STATUS: OPEN |
[attr="class","femme-text"]
for starters, the face claim isn't mandatory but it is highly preferred. other options can be discussed if one is interested in this ad. onward with the character itself, for now we'll call her by her face claim name; makise kurisu is a childhood friend of alec von klaussner. they went to the same preschool when they were young. alec, being a youthful child when he was young, met makise kurisu due to being a new student and having no friends. her family tended to move around a lot due to her dad being a pokemon researcher who was very invested within his work; traveling to a new region practically every other year. [break][break]
makise was, keyword was, a bashful girl who didn't have any natural skill in socializing; like, she was terri-bad. but it wasn't until she met alec that he, at first did pick on her for always being quiet, gave her a nickname: dry-mouth, because whenever she talked she mumbled so low that she made it seem as though her throat was too dry to talk. even though he picked on her, she didn't mind it at first; she liked the fact that he even took the time to give her a nickname. it was weird, sure, but it was the first nickname she ever received from a fellow classmate. [break][break]
the two grew up together for sometime. hanging out, traveling around the city of kogane. there was never a dull moment when these two, among their other group of friends, were around. eventually everyone began to move, everyone alec knew and grew up with. this, of course, did make him sad. deep down dry-mouth knew that he was sad about having to say goodbye to an old friend each year, but he kept a jolly green smile on his face. because if there's one thing she knew, she knew that alec despised crying in front of others. [break][break]
one day, possibly at the age of ten or eleven, makise had to leave next. her father was moving to a new region for his research and what have you. you could say that when alec found out he pretty much cried to his older-now-dead-brother damien. she was on her way to say her goodbyes when she stumbled upon alec crying, and i mean bawling, his eyes out to his older brother. i think it was because of her that he became so attached to damien; probably even why he's so, kinda low-key, screwed up in the head. [break][break]
she hurt him by leaving, and this heffa made a promise that she didn't even keep. it sucks, and it was because of this ordeal that he took a stand no one would ever make him cry like that again. all he needed was his brother to fill the void his mother left when they were young, hoping makise could fill that void; alas, she only made it grow bigger until the sun that shined was swallowed. [break][break]
now, fast-forward ahead, damien's dead. and alec is pretty broken--like--hollow. and now she's taking the worse possible time to return to the johto region to see her old friend who, mind you, is getting discharged from the hospital, or perhaps even still in it, after the events of the madatsubomi tower and team virus's shenanigans. i think seeing her will cause the light to peek from behind that curtain-like void; though, i feel that it will also create an unnecessary black hole beside it seeing her again would be an amazing feeling, but i think it'll also open old wounds.[break][break]
i'm not looking for this to be an automatic romance plot, rather something heartbreaking and angsty. honestly, go with the flow if we're being real here. not everything is sunshine and lillipuppies right now. shit just happened and, for some unknown reason, she's chosen at this exact moment to return? there may be moments where alec snaps on her, perhaps moments where he randomly embraces her. shivering and praying she never leaves him. telling her that he doesn't think he'll be able to handle that darkness which clouds his heart. it hurts too much, and there's no one he can talk to about this. it hurts, he needs you and you know this. [break][break]
alas, deep down, even though that you know this. you're oblivious, you're no longer that shy girl from preschool or the girl he grew up with before moving. of course, though you've grown, you still retain some of those shy aspects about yourself, but you're happy...right? that's something. you know what that is? growth. and you wanna show that growth. but do you believe that you're still that girl alec grew up with? he changed after all, have you? it's gonna be an interesting time back within the johto region.[break][break]
fun note. i have images made for you already if you've chosen to take this role, so no need to run off; i gotchu, i won't let you down in this department of angst and drama over here.
