So today was a fun day since the very beginning! Let’s get started with this crazy adventure shall we? First things first he had a difficulty time waking up and his Growlithe had to knock him out of the bed which was rather depressing in all honesty. Moving right along he had to find him a mask and that was the most difficulty part. Having to take a risk he had to snag two masks from his sisters room before rushing out! That was the scariest part in the world running away with Parsifal and Malice by his side!

Getting to the event was even crazier for starters every room he bumped into there were people battling each other it’s like can’t they take a break? He get’s to the third floor and meets a nerd who’s in love with the professor. Despite giving him love advice he finds out this guy is the leader of Team Virus and had destroyed the tower. It gets crazier because he almost lost his fucking Growlithe out of all things and now here he is walking into a bar looking like a mess and you could tell he needed a drink. This man wanted to burst out in tears and the best way to do that is to get drunk and not to mention he’s going to get his ass kicked for stealing his sisters mask and then leaving them in the tower to get burned to ashes. Wait did he bring them with him? Oh he doesn’t fucking remember at least Parsifal still has his at least!

Zeref dragged himself up to the bar counter before slumping down on his seat. He gave out a long drastic sigh before slowly lifting up his finger to call the waiter over. “We’re going to need a lot of drinks man it’s going to be a long night and no those aren’t for me I’m having a couple of them!” In other words he might drink 3 of them before getting drunk as far as he knows of. The other was for the others he invited with him. “How the hell am I going to tell my sister that I stole her masks but they ended up getting burned to ashes besides Parsifal? Ah shit I’m going to die when I get home I should’ve died in that tower!” Zeref moaned to himself. “I’m going to need 4 drinks now!”

Was it strange to see such well-dressed people walk into a bar. Vash had to think so as he took a moment to stand beside the door bringing his phone to his ear. It was best to get the gruesome part out of the way while he still could.

One ring, two, and then the voice he least wanted to hear. That of his mother yelling at him because he knew she was a light sleeper. A part of him wanted to hang up and try his fathers business phone though he knew he'd just chew him out since it wasn't business.

"Hello mother," Vash greeted his voice revealing his despair and tiredness. "I know its late. Yes. I just wanted to let you know I'm alive," there was a long pause after that as he listened to her. Both for stating the obvious and for waking her.

"No, I'm not drunk. You can hear about it on the news tomorrow. Goodnight," Vash hung up quickly. He knew tomorrow his father would be the one to call him. For now, though he just wanted some peace after such a hectic day.

"Two," Vash said approaching the bar. "She probably won't kill you. Torture is much more effective trust me I know. My sister loves torturing me."

His sister was the main reason he and his mother were on such bad terms. That brat could play their parents like a fiddle even after growing up. He hated forty percent of his family.

"Though your family is probably nothing like mine. She'll probably just be relieved that you're alive," Vash said downing one. His lips drawing to his teeth at the burn. He fingered the other one a moment before downing it as well.

Vash didn't doubt the barkeep had heard the commotion and urged him to turn on the news. He wondered how much the police would reveal about the fire. He doubted they would mention team Virus to avoid panic. So he had to make sure his story matched at least some.

"It was some party," Vash mused the whole thing feeling like a dream. He raised his hand showing two fingers for some more.

Fuck everything this day had to offer.

Hell yeah she took up Zeref the Stranger's offer for drinks after this all downhill corkscrew roller coaster to Hell of a day. Gabby knew she shouldn't have gone to a formal event, even if she felt more comfortable with it having been hosted in her home town. The announcement was suppose to be grand and the party lively. Instead the announcement was terrifying and the party deadily. Only the COMPLETE OPPOSITE OF EVERYTHING PROMISED. At least one person was dead, she had see the dragged out body when she was rescued but she never caught a name of the male, nor did she stick around long to hear if there were others not as fortunate as herself.

She stuck around long enough to be check over by medical professionals (who mostly just told her to keep it easy because of smoke inhalation) and to thank some of the others who were trapped on the top floor with her. Their quick thinking and combined teamwork helped lead to out safely. Sure Gym Leaders and the League came to rescue them in the end but......

Aaaand that was why Gabby was here, now, having not bothered to change and pulling open the pub door with a completely drained body. One that longed to lay down and sleep for days but also one that still had tinges of panic that something more was going to happen. Maybe the pub was going to catch on fire next, who knew. All the alcohol was flammable and probably looked tasty and appealing to a pyromaniac. The Ranger ignored the eyes of the patrons, whom took in her black dress, mask hanging loose around her neck still, and soot covered skin and immediately knew from where she had just come.

One patron stood from their booth and made eye contact with her on the way to the bar, "Sit your ass down Sir, I'm not talking about it." She sounded tired and low on patience but it was more than likely the icey glare she gave him that made the bar patron turn back on his heels and return to his table. Approaching the bar top and to the other two Rangers who beat her to the establishment she called to the bartender, "Roger, I need something heavy. Give me something to make me forget this day ever happened."

While she waited for the drink she listened to the men converse about siblings and absentmindedly wished she had one. She didn't participate until her drink came and she took a big swing of the unknown contents. Holy shit that tasted terrible but you don't get taste with the level of potency she wanted. Her eyes tracked Roger as he listened to Vash and turned the TV usually reserved for sporting events to a news channels. It was 'breaking news' coverage and despite the tower having already collapse the anchors were likely going to repeat the four facts they had available every five minutes until the Kikyo Police had a press release later tonight.

Some of the lively talk that previously inhabited the bar stopped as the patrons watched the footage on the news. The male who had stood when Gabby had entered could be heard saying something along the lines of 'Oh, that explains it. Damn.'

When Vash showed up to join the fun Zeref couldn’t help but sigh underneath his breath before taking a sip of his drink. “You made it at last and I don’t like the sound of torture.” Zeref mumbled underneath his breath before shaking his head. “I had no choice I didn’t have time to buy me a ridiculous mask I bet they would’ve been more expensive because of this event. Even so I’m glad I took her masks because I bet you ten for one she planned on going to that event. I would’ve been peeing in my pants if something happened to my twin sister.” The male sighed imagining what would’ve happened if they had swapped placed.

“So you have siblings too huh?” The Ranger asked. “If you think my family is innocent then you can just forget it. My father is a bodyguard you see and if he found out I took my sisters mask he would say you deserve it for doing something so stupid. Meanwhile my mother would pretend to be nice and calm until suddenly she takes out her Gardevoir to beat me up or even worse her Milotic oh god her Milotic is scary as fuck!” Zeref shivered at that thought remembering how powerful his mother’s Pokemon team is. “And then her Salamance would come rushing over to bite my head off and her Wigglytuff oh no we’re not going to talk about that one no sir nope! I’m not dealing with that shit since that one is the most dangerous thing out of them all! If Never underestimate the bunny it’s deadly I tell you oh shit that’s right she has a Lopuuny too nope I’m not going home for a while!”

The mention of her team even made Parsifal hide underneath the chair shivering like no tomorrow. Zeref looked down to witness this. “See even Parsifal is scared no fucking way we’re going home! I’ll make up an excuse about it later.” The Ranger rambled on but in the end Zeref is just scared of almost everything and he hates to admit it however he can’t help it. His mother is scary as fuck and it’s because of her he’s such a damn wuss! “Sometimes I wonder how my father manages to deal with her shit.” He sighed before slurping up the rest of his drink. “I NEED ANOTHER!” Zeref shook his head to ignore his thoughts before turning around to see the other person he invited to the party.

“I agree they need to change the channel I’m going nuts! I barely survived that but just wait until I get home. Yo bartender changes the channel will you?” The Ranger called out before turning his gaze back to Gabby. “Thanks for accepting my invite I know it’s weird since we’ve only met during the time of death but I felt like after all this madness we deserve a drink or something.”

Vash couldn't say much about his complaining about his mother's pokemon. He thought he had it rough though with his mother. At least he wasn't abused with pokemon. Just ignored. yelled and screamed at with very few whoopings cause he learned to be compliant under their roof.

He downed another shot as they were joined by a woman he recognized. They hadn't spoken much in all the chaos. Which made it somewhat a relief to see her now so they could interact properly.

"We didn't get much of a chance to talk in there. Vash Parker," he said offering her his hand to shake.

The channel changed at Zeref's request making Vash look to it quickly at the change in sound. So much for learning what they were going to reveal. Still, there was tomorrow and he knew this thing wouldn't blow over for days. Especially with deaths being counted.

He downed his fourth holding up two fingers for more. He was starting to relax a bit as the alcohol reached his muscles. Which just made it painfully obvious how tense he had been since an ache was building up. Just another reason to drink tonight away he supposed.

"I'm wanting tonight to end and at the same time for tomorrow to never come. I am not looking forward to the paperwork," Vash said knowing he'd have to file an official report with Ranger HQ. "If you aren't going home you're free to crash at my place. I got a roommate but he won't care." It meant they could possibly go in and give their report together as well. It'd be good to have someone there to play off one another's memory and piece the whole thing together.

Zeref was quick to have Roger change the channel off the news and while one side of Gabby was thankful to not have to relive the event again for at least awhile longer, another part of her was interested in what happened in the chaos of the other floors. The interrogators she spoke to in the aftermath only asked questions, never answer her own even after mentioning she was an Official Pokemon Ranger. They said they had to compare the statements of other survivors and she would learn the turn of events with the general public at a press conference.

Yeah, right. Like they would give much information at the first press conference and the likelihood that they would mention Team Virus was a joke. It would stir the public, cause a panic, and the police didn't want to deal with questions and false alarm scare calls when they were trying to work on the issue. She would have to talk to Ranger HQ tomorrow when they would all have to give their statements to find out what 'The Uppers' could divulge. Being semi new to the organization, they likely wouldn't share much with her. Maybe the other two rangers she was drinking with were higher on the totem pole and would share what they find out.

The dark haired ranger next to her interrupted her drinking and thinking pity party with a hand outstretched and a name. "Nice to meet you officially. Gabrielle Ryder, most people just call me Gabby." Her eyes shifted over to the other male who was apparently struggling more now with giving the news of his almost death to his mom than he was in the actual tower. "You're mom sounds terrifying..." Now that she thought about it, did she ever get his name? Conversations were a blur from the tower and if it was said, she couldn't remember it. "And you are...? Sorry I can't remember if we exchanged introductions."

Gabby raised a finger for another hellish drink she had finished and stretched her arms over her head to hear the crack in her back. It didn't crack everything, there were knots all over her back that would need a week at a spa to get out, but it was a cheap start at the least. Vash brought up paperwork and the slowly gaining momenteum good vibe mood she was getting as the alcohol settled into her vanished and soured. "I forgot about the paperwork..." She knew she had to go in to talk about it but she didn't want to spend hours of her life writing things she just said on paper. Couldn't the HQ just hire a scribe or something for the interview room. Court rooms had them.
