Following the incident at the fall of the tower and the addition to her team Cass had decided she needed time off from work. Her research firm was more than happy to grant her the time as it was no secret the woman had been part of the tragic event. It was clear her work was beginning to suffer from the stress too and she was becoming rather snappy.
As the approval of her boss Cass packed her bags and team and headed down Route 43 in search of the Lake of Rage. Despite the formidable name it was a beautiful lake hidden in the center of a dense forest. It was a place she had wanted to see for many years but hadn't managed to find the time. The lake seemed like the perfect place to destress, Cass decided. Something about water had always soothed the woman. No matter the situation water would always return to a calm and unmoving state and it was a state she wished to achieve.
For the first time since capturing Earl she had managed to get him back inside his pokeball - quite easily in fact. Ever since Lady had joined her party the normally fiesty baby pokemon had waned nothing to do with her and found solace in the safety of his pokeball. Originally the woman had felt quite bad about this fact but the silence and lack of headache it afforded her had been heavenly.
With Lord wrapped around her shoulders like a living scarf Cass made her way through the forest path in search of the fabled lake.
